Sony has introduced a new product in the Indian market - the Sony Inzone Buds. These gaming earbuds are designed to enhance the gaming experience with features like active noise cancellation and spatial audio.

Sony Inzone Buds Features

The Sony Inzone Buds feature an in-ear design with comfortable rubber tips. They are equipped with 8.4mm drivers and support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The earbuds have a low latency of under 30ms, ensuring no delay in sound during gaming. They support the LC3 codec and use Bluetooth Low Energy for audio transmission.

A unique feature of the Sony Inzone Buds is the personalized spatial audio. Users can take a picture of their ear and upload it to the Sony companion app, allowing the earbuds to optimize sound based on the individual's ear shape.

Sony has collaborated with professional gamers from the esports organization Fnatic to fine-tune these earbuds. The microphone on the Sony Inzone Buds uses AI for noise filtration, ensuring clear voice communication during games. The earbuds also feature touch controls for easy management of volume and music playback, which can be customized via the Inzone Hub.

The Sony Inzone Buds claim a battery life of up to 12 hours, ideal for long gaming sessions. When used with the charging case, the total playback time increases to 24 hours. The case includes a USB-C port for convenient charging.

Gaming-Focused Features

The Sony Inzone Buds are tailored for gamers. They come with active noise cancellation, which helps to block out external noise, allowing gamers to focus on their gameplay. The spatial audio feature, a standout aspect of the Sony Inzone Buds, helps players identify the direction of sounds in games, which is particularly useful in shooter games for detecting actions like footsteps.

Sony Inzone Buds: Availability and Price in India

The Sony Inzone Buds are priced at Rs 17,990 in India and will be available for purchase across Sony's Retail Stores, ShopatSC portal, Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce platforms starting from January 16, 2024. Special bank discounts of up to Rs 500 are available during ongoing Republic Day Sales on Amazon and Flipkart.
