The CISF has recently taken over the entire security of the Parliament complex by replacing the CRPF and Delhi Police contingents.

Three labourers trying to enter the high-security Parliament complex by allegedly using "forged" Aadhaar cards were apprehended by the CISF personnel, official sources said on Thursday.
The Delhi Police has arrested the three persons identified as Kasim, Monis and Soyeb and has charged them under various sections of the Indian Penal Code related to forgery and cheating.
Sources told PTI said the trio were intercepted and detained by CISF personnel at the flap gate entry of the Parliament House on Tuesday when they had lined up for security and identity card checks.
The three were trying to gain entry into the Parliament complex by showing their Aadhaar cards. The CISF personnel found the cards to be doubtful and on further scrutiny found that those were forged, the sources said.
The CISF has recently taken over the entire security of the Parliament complex by replacing the CRPF and Delhi Police contingents.
Officials said the three persons were hired by a company called Dee Vee Projects Ltd for the construction of the MP's lounge inside the Parliament complex.
The three were handed over by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel to the Delhi Police which filed an FIR and booked them under various sections of the IPC such as 465 (forgery), 419 (cheating by personation), 120B (criminal conspiracy), 471 (using as genuine a forged document) and 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating).

A slew of changes are coming into effect from June 2024. From updating your Aadhaar card to new rules for getting a driving license, here's what you need to know.
<h3>New driving license rules</h3>
Getting a new driving license will get easier from june as the new regulations allows the Regional Transport Offices (RTO) to conduct driving tests at private training schools. The move aims to streamline the process and improve efficiency. Only those centres authorised by the government can take driving license applicants' tests.
Under the new rules, the government will eliminate around 900,000 old government vehicles and enforce stricter car emission standards. People violating traffic rules will be fined a larger amount. Fine for speeding will remain as it is, but the fine imposed in cases of a minor driving the vehicle is Rs 25,000. The vehicle owner's registration will also be cancelled.
<h3>Aadhaar card update</h3>
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) extended the free online Aadhaar update facility till 14 June. However, for offline update, users have to pay Rs 50 per update.&nbsp;
<h3>Higher TDS if PAN-Aadhaar not linked</h3>
From June 1, a higher rate of tax deduction at source will be imposed on those who have not linked their Aadhaar to Pan card. The last date to link your Aadhaar to Pan is May 31.&nbsp;&nbsp;
<h3>SBI credit card change</h3>
SBI has also announced changes to its credit cards which will come into effect from June 1. As per the changes, reward points will not be applicable on government-related transactions for some credit cards. This change will impact a wide range of SBI credit cards, including popular ones like AURUM, SBI Card ELITE, SBI Card ELITE Advantage, and many others.
<h3>LPG cylinder price change</h3>
Oil marketing companies update the prices of LPG cylinders on the 1st of every month. Similarly a change in the prices can be expected on June 1st. In May, oil marketing companies reduced the prices of commercial cylinders. Price changes in ATF and CNG-PNG can also be expected on June 1.

The free Aadhaar document update time has been extended by three months by the Unique Identification Authority of India

The deadline to update Aadhaar details for free has been extended by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) by three months, from June 14 to September 14, 2023.
Till 14 September 2023, you can update and upload your proof of identity and proof of address documents for free online.&nbsp; However, post the deadline, updating details of your Aadhaar card will cost ₹50.&nbsp;
Free updates should be done online at https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and updates at Govt authorised Common Service Centres will be charged ₹25 as usual.
Steps to upload address proof for free
Step 1: Visit https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/ Step 2: Login and select &lsquo;Name/Gender/Date of Birth &amp; Address Update&rsquo; Step 3: Click on &lsquo;Update Aadhaar Online&rsquo; Step 4: Select 'address' from the list of demographic options and click 'Proceed to Update Aadhaar'
Tracking update requests
If your online address change request is accepted, you will receive a URN (change Request Number) in the following format: 0000/00XXX/XXXXX. This is sent through SMS to the phone number you have on file. By entering your Aadhaar number and this URN, you may check the status of your Aadhaar update at https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/checkSSUPStatus/checkupdatestatus.
