He shared, &ldquo;That&rsquo;s when I realised Rakeysh is the world's worst narrator. Just read his script, never get a narration from him. He will confuse you, which he did to me during &lsquo;Rang De Basanti&rsquo;. I didn't understand why are they cutting from time zone to time zone. It was called Painted Yellow in those days. I said, &lsquo;Mujhe samajh nahi aayi, mujhe nahi karni&rsquo; (I didn't get it, I don't want to do it). Then he made &lsquo;Rang De Basanti&rsquo;.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Indian cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle, who recently watched R Balki&rsquo;s &lsquo;Ghoomer&rsquo;, reviewed the film on social media. He shared how he was apprehensive before watching the Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher starrer but all his apprehensions and uneasiness were put to rest as the film was wonderful.
In a video posted on Twitter, Harsha said, &lsquo;I went to see a movie recently and I went with a combination of excitement and unease. A little bit of unease, because I didn't know how I'd react to film where I knew a lot of people in it. I've known Balki for a long time. There's been a debate in the house or whether we like Cheeni Kum more or Paa more. I was always on the Paa side, my wife was on Cheeni Kum side. I've been invested in Sayami Kher's performance as she is an outstanding anchor and also a cricketer. I wanted to see how she combined the two. So I was a little confused about how I'd react to the film with people that I knew in it.&rsquo;
He added, &lsquo;I was also a little concerned about how the cricket would be shot. We've all seen sports movies where the emotion is built up, the drama is built up and then suddenly the sport starts and you say, yeah, they tried to teach the actor cricket but it's not working. Within the first ten minutes or so, that first fear was gone.&rsquo;
He said that Saiyyami was making all the right moves and he was soon fascinated with how Balki focused on the little things carefully.
&lsquo;It's not just Saiyyami - who is a proper cricketer. She's an actor, but she's also a proper cricketer. So there was never going to be any doubt about that, but also on how the rest of the characters play. When there's an India-England game, they're all cricketers playing and he (Balki) didn't compromise on that. That gives the movie a touch of authenticity,&rsquo; he said.
He added that Saiyyami being an actor as well as a cricketer helped her bring all the nuances of her character and make it all look authentic.
Talking about Abhishek's performance, Harsha said, &lsquo;Then there was Abhishek Bachchan. I think he lives the role of the coach. Sometimes you can have a coach who's trying to motivate a player, whether it's the hard way or the soft way, but sometimes the lines can appear a little straight out of a motivational lecture. I love the way Abhishek married the two into his character. I could recognize a couple of cricketers within the character that Abhishek plays, but I'll leave it for you to decide. But needless to say, he is outstanding especially in the first half.&rsquo;
Harsha then said that the film is about hope, more than anything else. He added that he liked the fact that the film does not &lsquo;talk down women's cricket&rsquo;, or other issues that plague our society. He wrapped up his video saying that he is not a reviewer but he loved the way the story of a Hungarian athlete was woven into the Indian setup and the language of cricket was chosen for the same.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan took to social media on August 2 to announce that the trailer of his forthcoming film 'Ghoomer' will not be released on August 3. He said the decision was taken as a 'mark of respect' to late art director Nitin Desai.
The trailer of 'Ghoomer' will now be released on August 4.
Abhishek tweeted, 'As a mark of respect to our beloved #NitinDesai, we the team of #Ghoomer have decided to postpone our trailer release function which was to be held tomorrow in Mumbai. We will release it day after on the 4th of August.'
Previously, Akshay Kumar pushed the release date of the first trailer of his film 'OMG 2'.
Akshay tweeted, 'Unbelievably sad to know about the demise of Nitin Desai. He was a stalwart in production design and such a big part of our cinema fraternity. He worked on so many of my films&hellip; this is a huge loss. Out of respect, we are not releasing the OMG 2 trailer today. Will launch it tomorrow at 11 am. Om Shanti.'
National Award-winning art director Nitin Desai died by suicide in the early hours of August 2. He was found dead at his studio in Mumbai. He is famously known for creating sets of blockbuster films such as 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Jodhaa Akbar', and 'Lagaan'.
Abhishek Bachchan's 'Ghoomer', directed by R Balki, also stars Saiyami Kher, Shabana Azmi, and Angad Bedi in the lead roles.
The film is about a paraplegic sportsperson and it shows how she excels as a cricketer under the guidance of her coach.
'Ghoomer' will release in theatres on August 18.

The movie showcases the journey and life of a paraplegic sportsperson who is guided by her coach.
Saiyami Kher stars as the sportsperson and the coach is played by Abhishek.
'Ghoomer' also stars Angad Bedi and Shabana Azmi in significant roles.
Soon after Abhishek Bachchan shared the teaser on his social media pages, celebrities like Nimrat Kaur, Suniel Shetty, and Kunal Kapoor showered him with love.
&lsquo;Ghoomer&rsquo; is all set to open at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne.
One of the biggest film festivals outside India will take place from August 11 to 20, 2023.

The 14th edition of IFFM will take place from August 11 to August 20 in Melbourne.

Remo D'Souza&rsquo;s directorial has reportedly been named, &lsquo;Dancing Dad&rsquo;. A source told Pinkvilla that Nora will be seen in a &lsquo;very important role&rsquo; and is set to appear in a never-seen-before avatar. It also said that they filmed in Ooty.
The movie will reportedly be backed by a large OTT platform.
Besides this, Abhishek will be seen in the Nikkhil Advani-backed Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil comedy drama &lsquo;KD&rsquo;. Abhishek replied to a tweet from a renowned journalist, who criticised the newspapers for printing Diwali ads on the front page rather than news stories. Jr Bachchan asked if people still read newspapers, expressing his concern over those who are nowadays not giving first preference to newspapers.
