Indian watches and accessories maker tycoon, Titan is in advanced talks to buy a majority stake in homegrown wearables maker Noise. 
According to reports, Tata group-controlled company is getting ready to fashion another spell of explosive growth and aims to strengthen its presence in the booming wearables market. 
Boom of smart wearable
Affordable prices, capabilities such as fitness tracking and access to phone notifications have made wearable devices, such as smartwatches, extremely popular among youth.
Smartwatches and wristband shipments in India grew more than 2.4 times in 2021, with smartwatches accounting for the lion’s share of these shipments, according to market researcher IDC India. The smartwatches segment was led by Noise, which saw a five-fold jump in shipments last year, with a 27% market share.

The latest buzz on deal street is the possible acquisition of&nbsp;homegrown wearables maker Noise by the Tata Group under it's flagship firm Titan.Reports indicate the deal is likely to value the Gurugram&nbsp;based firm at Rs 700 cr.
Started in 2014 by two brothers Amit Khatri and Gaurav Khatri, Noise has become the frontleader in the&nbsp;smart&nbsp;&nbsp;wearable device market along with brand BoAT.&nbsp; Noise began as a seller of smartphone cases but later diversified into smart wearable devices, action cameras, portable speakers, Bluetooth headphones and wireless chargers.

The transaction is likely to value Noise, run by Gurugram-based Nexxbase Marketing Pvt. Ltd, at about&nbsp;₹700 crore-&nbsp;₹800 crore.&nbsp;

PharmEasy will pick up stake in Thyrocare at ₹1,300 per share, valuing the deal at ₹4,546 crore. The transaction is subject to regulatory and other applicable customary approvals. 
The PharmEasy-Thyrocare deal comes at a time when the online pharmacy sector is witnessing a boom. PharmEasy in a statement said, the collaboration is unique and transformative for the Indian healthcare sector, consumers and the entire healthcare ecosystem.
The statement added that the synergies of both, India&rsquo;s largest digital health platform and one of the largest, cost-effective diagnostics solution providers will accelerate the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and OPD services to nearly 800mn Indians.
