The victim, gold trader Mehul Thakkar, was duped by these fake notes. He immediately filed a police complaint, and now, law enforcement is working hard to track down the culprits using CCTV footage.

Anupam's upcoming projects
Anupam has finished shooting for his upcoming movie &lsquo;Vijay 69&rsquo;.
Created under the banner YRF Entertainment, the film will narrate the life of a sexagenarian man, played by Anupam, who decides to compete in a triathlon contest at the age of 69. The film is being directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma.
Besides this, Anupam Kher has &lsquo;Emergency&rsquo; and &lsquo;Signature&rsquo; in the pipeline.
The veteran actor was recently seen in the web series &lsquo;The Freelancer&rsquo; alongside Mohit Raina.
The series is based on the book &ndash; &lsquo;A Ticket to Syria&rsquo; by Shirish Thorat. Directed by Bhav Dhulia, &lsquo;The Freelancer: The Conclusion&rsquo; also stars Kashmira Pardeshi and Sushant Singh.

When he was asked to comment on how the film was unfairly criticised by a section of society, Kher said that there should not be any problem in speaking what is right. He said &lsquo;The Kashmir Files&rsquo; is our &lsquo;internal truth&rsquo;.
&lsquo;I talk candidly and I do that because there should not be any problem in telling the truth. There is (an) end to truth. There is no interpretation of truth,&rsquo; he said.
Anupam Kher added that filmmakers often try to play to the gallery to please others, something he believes should not be done.
&lsquo;Don&rsquo;t try to be popular with the whole world. First, be popular with yourself. If you&rsquo;re not popular with yourself, there is something wrong with you. We often try to make something (film) wondering &lsquo;Will the others like it?&rsquo; No, what is important is if I like it or not,&rsquo; he added.
&lsquo;The Kashmir Files&rsquo;, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, depicts the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandit community from the Kashmir Valley in the 1990s.
It was one of 2022&rsquo;s biggest Hindi hits, but was also tagged a &lsquo;propaganda&rsquo; film.
Kher, whose career spans almost 40 years, said he doesn&rsquo;t like being called a &lsquo;veteran or legend&rsquo;.
&lsquo;I&rsquo;m not competing with my contemporaries. I&rsquo;m competing with the Tiger Shroffs of the world. I&rsquo;m competing with Varun Dhawan,&rsquo; he said.
&lsquo;So, don&rsquo;t call me a legend, veteran or thespian because these (tags) mean you have worked a lot, please take retirement. There are still 30-40 years to go for my retirement,&rsquo; he added.
The JFF opened on August 3 with the Adil Hussain-starrer &lsquo;Footprints on Water&rsquo;, directed by Nathalia Syam.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently met composer MM Keeravaani and got a chance to hold the Oscar trophy which he won for the song &lsquo;Naatu Naatu&rsquo; from SS Rajamouli&rsquo;s &lsquo;RRR&rsquo;.
Anupam posted a video on Instagram in which the duo is seen sharing a conversation.
In the clip, Anupam said, &lsquo;What a great, amazing, honoured to hold sir's Oscar in my hand, sir.&rsquo; MM Keeravaani replied, &lsquo;And what a great moment to be with you, sir.&rsquo;
Anupam then responded, &lsquo;No sir, you are very humble sir.&rsquo;

Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who was busy shooting for his upcoming sports film &lsquo;Vijay 69&rsquo;, has been injured on the sets. He took to social media to share the news with his fans and posted a picture of himself as he wore a sling and posed for the camera holding a ball.&nbsp;
The actor shared that the person putting the sling on him said that he had done it for actors Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, and after hearing this his pain subsided a little. He also revealed that his mother Dulaari said that he fell prey to the evil eye.

After suffering a cardiac arrest in New Delhi on March 8, Satish passed away. His death was first announced by Anupam on social media. Now, Anupam Kher has said that 'no power would have stopped' &lsquo;Laal Singh Chaddha&rsquo; from working if it were a great film.
&lsquo;Laal Singh Chadda was not a great film. If it was a great film then no power would've stopped it. Aamir Khan's PK worked really well. The point is that you need to accept the truth,&rsquo; Anupam told news agency ANI.
The actor further said, &lsquo;I am not for boycott trends, not at all but you can't stop somebody from doing what they want to do. But if your product is good, it will find its audience. In fact, they will go with a vengeance. And the only way to kill this trend is to make brilliant work.&rsquo;
Anupam also said that he feels this trend will not affect a film if it is good. He added that everybody has freedom of expression and if an actor has the right to say anything about any situation, then they should also be brave enough to go through the situation. He was seemingly hinting at Aamir's 2015 interview where he said that his then-wife Kiran Rao suggested they move out of India because of &lsquo;growing intolerance&rsquo;. The clip of the interview had resurfaced ahead of &lsquo;Laal Singh Chadha&rsquo;s release.

He has won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice &ndash; for &lsquo;Ram Lakhan&rsquo; in 1990 and for &lsquo;Saajan Chale Sasural&rsquo; in 1997.
