India will be eyeing a second gold of the competition when Jyothi and Priyansh take on the USA in the compound mixed team final later in the day.

The Indian trio of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Parneet Kaur and Aditi Swami grabbed their third successive Archery World Cup gold medal, beating Turkey 232-226 in a lopsided compound women's team final at the stage two event in Yecheon on Saturday.
The world number one Indian compound women's team dominated Turkey's Hazal Burun, Ayse Bera Suzer and Begum Yuva right from the first end and sealed the gold without dropping a set, maintaining a healthy six-point margin.
For Jyothi, Parneet and world champion Aditi this completed a hat-trick of World Cup gold medals together.
They had won the season opening World Cup Stage 1 in Shanghai, downing Italy last month and also ended last year with a gold at the stage four of the event in Paris.

This is the 3rd gold medal for Ojas in Hangzhou. Before this, he won gold in Mixed Team and Men's Team events.

It's just Day 11 of the 2023 Asian Games and the Indian contingent has already assured India of its best-ever medal haul in the competition's history as Jyothi Surekha Vennam and Ojas Deotale clinched gold in the Archery Compound Mixed event on October 4.
A dominant display by the Indian Archers helped India surpass their previous best of 70 medals with the top finish for our archers in the compound event.
It was a close contest for Jyothi and Ojas in the final but they managed to defeat South Korea at the end, with the Indians winning the tie with a score of 149-148.

Earlier, India had stunned defending champions Colombia 220-216 in the semifinals after a 228-226 win over Chinese Taipei in the quarterfinals.
This is the first time Indian archers became world champions after the country made its World Archery Championships debut in Punta Ala (Italy) in 1981.
India had previously lost in the finals in the World Archery Championships four times in recurve section and five times in the non-Olympic compound discipline.
"We were focused on the process. We had won enough silver medals and we had decided yesterday that we will win the gold. This is a start and we will win more medals," Jyothi said.
The 17-year-old Aditi, who recently became U-18 world champion, is the juniormost member of the team.
"It is a special moment to win the first medal and see the Indian flag go up," she said.
At a time when Indian recurve archers are in a downward spiral, the current achievement, albeit in a non-Olympic compound section, will be a big relief.
In fact, all the Indian recurve archers are out of medal contention in this tournament.
Dhiraj Bommadevara and Simranjeet Kaur's prequarterfinal exits on Thursday were the recurve archers' best finishes in the section.
India had last time won a medal in recurve discipline of the World Archery Championships in the 2019 edition in Den Bosch Netherlands when the men's team of Tarundeep Rai, Atanu Das and Pravin Jadhav had settled for a silver.
Up against Mexico, second-seeded Indian trio of Jyothi, Aditi and Parneet dominated from the start as they shot 59 points out of 60 in the first three rounds to cruise to a 177-172 lead.
In the first round, the Indians drilled in two X (closer to the centre) in five perfect 10s to put early pressure on Mexico's Dafne Quintero, Ana Sofia Hernandez Jeon and Andrea Becerra who totalled 57.
The second round was an identical one as Mexico shot 58 points this time to trail by three points.
In the third round, Jyothi, Aditi and Parneet had one X from five 10s en route to 59, while Mexico managed 57 to give India a five-point cushion going into the decider.
They sealed India's first gold in archery in this tournament with a 58.
It was a big relief especially for 27-year-old Jyothi who finally won a gold medal after missing out on four occasions.
In the last edition in Yankton 2021, she lost out in individual, team and mixed pair finals.
Her maiden final appearance was with the team in the 2017 Mexico City edition when she was with Trisha Deb and Lily Chanu Paonam.
Overall, Jyothi now has one gold, four silver and two bronze medals from the World Championships.
Jyothi, Aditi and Parneet are also in the hunt for individual medals having progressed into the quarterfinals.
While Parneet will be up against Jyothi in an all-Indian last-eight clash, Aditi will take on Sanne De Laat of the Netherlands.
"It was a historic moment ... we became world champions defeating Colombia in semifinal and Mexico in final (two great compound archery heavyweights)," said national high performance director Sanjeeva Singh.
"It will see a boom in coming years as there is an outside chance of compound getting introduced in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics as an indoor sport (18M and 25M)," he added.

India also clinched a bronze medal in the Under-21 women's recurve individual section when Bhaja Kaur defeated Su Hsin-Yu of Chinese Taipei 7-1.

Parth Salunkhe became the first male archer to win a gold in the recurve category at the Youth World Championships as India finished with their highest-ever tally of 11 medals.
The 19-year-old from Satara in Maharashtra provided the perfect icing on the cake by defeating a Korean in the Under-21 men's recurve individual final, here on Sunday.
Salunkhe, who topped the rankings round, prevailed over seventh seed Song Injun 7-3 (26-26, 25-28, 28-26, 29-26, 28-26) in a hard-fought five-setter.
India also clinched a bronze medal in the Under-21 women's recurve individual section when Bhaja Kaur defeated Su Hsin-Yu of Chinese Taipei 7-1 (28-25, 27-27, 29-25, 30-26).
India finished with six gold, one silver and four bronze medals, which was highest in the standings in terms of total number of medals.
But in terms of rankings they finished second behind Korea who took the pole position with six gold and four silver medals.
Salunkhe trailed 1-3 after Injun hitting two perfect 10s and three 9s from first six arrows.
Just when it seemed a familiar Korean dominance over India, the former senior national champion Salunkhe fought back clinching the third set by two points, drilling one arrow closer to the centre (X) and made it three-all.
Pressure was writ large on Injun, as Salunkhe went on to hit two 10s and one 9 to snatch a 5-3 lead before finishing off in style with two Xs.
Son of a teacher, Salunkhe, whose talent was first tapped by coach Praveen Sawant during the post-pandemic phase in 2021, became the first male archer to become a youth world champion.
After Sawant discovered his talent, Salunkhe trained under Ram Avdesh at the SAI centre in Sonipat.
In women's recurve section, Deepika Kumari had become cadet and youth world champions in 2009 and 2011, a feat that was emulated by her Jharkhand statemate Komalika Bari in 2019 and 2021.
Overall, Salunkhe is the sixth Indian archer to become world champion in the youth showpiece.
Compound archers Palton Hansda (2006) and the duo of Aditi Swami and Priyansh who won here are the other youth world champions.
Salunkhe has previously won a silver in the Singapore Asia Cup Leg 3 in June this year, and two bronze medals in the same event in Sulaymaniyah and Sharjah last year.
With the World Championships and Asian Games in the pipeline, it remains to be seen whether Salunkhe manages to make the cut.

The Indian archers are also in the hunt for a gold and bronze medal later on Saturday.
Priyansh will face Alijaz Brenk of Slovenia in the U-21 compound men's section, while Avneet Kaur will fight for a bronze against Hallie Boulton of England in the U-21 compound women's section.
