Sonu Nigam washed veteran singer Asha Bhosle's feet during the launch of her biography as a mark of respect. Asha's biography, titled 'Swarswamini Asha', was launched on Friday, June 28, in a star-studded ceremony, which also saw Jackie Shroff and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in attendance. Her brother, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, was also present at the ceremony.

In a video shared by news agency ANI on X (formerly known as Twitter), Sonu is seen sitting near Asha's feet; he then proceeds to kiss them before washing them. The singer then wiped Asha's feet dry and bowed to her before leaving the stage. People around him helped with the water, a thali, and a towel. The video has now captured netizens' hearts.&nbsp;
During the event, Sonu wore a yellow kurta and white pyjamas, while Bhosle opted for an elegant white saree. Sonu also delivered a speech, praising Asha and her late sister Lata Mangeshkar for their unparalleled contributions to Indian music.&nbsp;

Legendary singer Asha Bhosle's granddaughter, Zanai Bhosle, is gearing up for her film debut as Rani Sai Bhonsale in &lsquo;The Pride of Bharat - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj,&rsquo; directed by Sandeep Ssingh.
Announcing the debut of Zanai, Asha Bhosle took to X and wrote, &lsquo;I am truly overjoyed to see my lovely granddaughter @ZanaiBhosle joining the cinema world in the upcoming grand epic #ThePrideofBharat Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I sincerely hope that she claims her destined position in cinematic history and wish her and @thisissandeeps all the very best.&rsquo;
Sandeep also shared his joy at having Zanai join his film. He said, &lsquo;l feel so honoured and absolutely privileged to be launching Zanai who is a descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's family lineage and also shares her lineage with extremely brilliant and accomplished family, with the late Lata Mangeshkarji being her aunt and being Asha Bhosleji's granddaughter. She is a proud Bhosle, who has already been gifted with a soulful voice and has an ear for music. But few know what a talented dancer and a skillful performer she is. She will do full justice to the character of Rani Sai Bai.&rsquo;

The veteran singer on Monday said she was elated to have Hollywood star Tom Cruise at her fine dining restaurant in Birmingham as he relished Chicken Tikka Masala over the weekend.
The 87-year-old singer shared a picture of the 'Mission: Impossible' star outside her restaurant, Asha's and wrote that she was very happy Tom Cruise enjoyed his fine dining experience and said that she look forward to him visiting again soon.
Asha&rsquo;s restaurant team also shared Cruise's picture and said that it was the 'greatest compliment' ever since Tom Cruise ordered the dish all over again.
