Veteran naturalist Sir David Attenborough&nbsp;made his debut on&nbsp;social media platform Instagram&nbsp;on Thursday and made history.
He became the fastest person on the platform to reach 1 million followers!&nbsp;Guinness World Records also shared that within 4 hours of joining, the environmentalist had a million followers and they are over 2.7 million and counting!&nbsp;
In his first video message,&nbsp;Attenborough&nbsp;warned everyone that the world is in trouble, adding that he would be using the platform to spread awareness about the problems and list ways to solve them.&nbsp;

The Indira Gandhi Peace Prize has been awarded to English&nbsp;broadcaster and natural historian David Attenborough at a virtual event.
Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh&nbsp;conferred the accolade to Attenborough&nbsp;who was described as one of Nature's "most staunch conscience keepers" for over half a century.&nbsp;
The Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development was instituted in the memory of the former prime minister in 1986. It&nbsp;is given to individuals or organisations who work towards ensuring international peace and development, ensuring that scientific discoveries are used to further the scope of freedom and better humanity.
