At least nine security personnel were killed and 13 others injured in a suicide attack on them in Pakistan's restive Balochistan province on Monday, police said.

The blast comes on the heels of attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and areas bordering Afghanistan.&nbsp;

The blast near the truck of Balochistan Constabulary personnel occurred on the Kambri bridge on the Quetta-Sibi highway, the Express Tribune newspaper reported.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Kachhi, Mehmood Notezai, said that the preliminary evidence suggests it was a suicide attack.
However, the exact nature of the blast could be ascertained after investigations.
He said that a bomb disposal team reached the site of the incident and the area is being searched after the explosion.
At least nine personnel of the Balochistan Constabulary were killed and 13 were injured in the bomb attack in Bolan, Notezai said.
So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
As soon as the incident was reported, local administration and security forces reached the spot.
The Balochistan Constabulary (BC) personnel were returning from duty in Sibi Mela when they were targeted. The truck overturned due to the intensity of the explosion, the report said.
The bodies and injured personnel were shifted to Sibi district where they were provided medical aid. The condition of some of the injured is reportedly critical.
The BC is a department of the provincial police force that provides security at important events and in sensitive areas, including jails.

Unverified videos making the rounds on social media show volunteers carrying bloodied victims away as a crowd gathers at the purported site of the blast.
Mangled motorcycles and charred vegetables can be seen strewn about on the road.
No terrorist groups have claimed responsibility for the blast.

At least 42 people, including women and children, were killed on Sunday after a speeding passenger bus crashed into a pillar of a bridge and fell into a ravine in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, according to officials.
The bus was carrying 48 people from provincial capital Quetta to Karachi, the capital of Sindh province, when it crashed into the pillar and subsequently careened into a ravine before catching fire in the Lasbela area, Assistant Commissioner Lasbela Hamza Anjum said.
"The speeding bus crashed into the pillar of a bridge while taking a U-turn near Lasbela and fell into a ravine and then caught fire,&rdquo; he told the media.
Anjum said till now 42 bodies have been recovered from the accident site.
Only three people, including a child and a woman, could be rescued alive, the official said, adding that the death toll could rise as the injured were in critical condition.
"There were a total of 48 people on the passenger coaster," he said.
He said the bodies were charred beyond recognition and DNA testing will be done for the identification of the deceased.
Police and rescue officials were busy in pulling out bodies and shifting them to the nearby hospitals, according to officials.

Afghan Forces open fire in Balochistan province killing 6, wounding 17: Pakistan army

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the military, heavy weapons including artillery and mortars were used in the firing by Afghan forces.

At least six Pakistani nationals were killed and 17 others injured on Sunday when Afghan border troops resorted to &ldquo;unprovoked and indiscriminate fire&rdquo; across the border into Balochistan&rsquo;s Chaman district, the army said.

&ldquo;The Afghan Border Forces opened unprovoked and indiscriminate fire of heavy weapons including artillery and mortar onto the civilian population,&rdquo; it said in a statement.
Six Pakistani civilians were killed and 17 others injured in the firing, it said.

The injured have been shifted to a local hospital, and the police have cordoned off the area, according to Samaa TV. Pakistan&rsquo;s border forces have responded through retaliatory firing, the statement said.
The Pakistan government has approached Afghan authorities in Kabul to highlight the severity of the situation and demanded strict action to avoid a recurrence of this incident in the future, it added.
It was not immediately clear the reason for the firing.
The extent of losses on the Afghan side were also not known.
Sunday&rsquo;s standoff at the border comes barely 24 hours after authorities in Pakistan said that its counterterrorism forces had intercepted four Islamic State Khorasan Province (IS-K) militants close to the Afghan border and killed them.
Last month, eight people, including two children and three paramilitary soldiers, were injured in Kurram district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province when some Afghans from across the border opened fire at them over a dispute over the construction of a road.
Pakistan and Afghanistan share a 2,600-km volatile border.

A Balochistan based relief fund has also extended a helping hand. It has circulated singer's bank and phone details wide asking people to help him  with financial aid. 
Since the time the news broke out, the internet has been trending with help calls for Bhugti. With over 3000 retweete, the singer is expected to receive funds to revive his family. 
Another influencer Muniba Mazar, who is also UN Goodwill Amabassador shared Bugti's personal bank account details urging the people around to help him as much as possible.
Several other collaborators including Xulfi, a producer of Coke Studio, also came forward to help the pained singer."We are and will continue to be with Wahab Bugti Sahib and his loved ones to help overcome the difficult situation. Rest assured, he is being given all possible support on ground," he tweeted
The distored pictured left netizens sad and worried.  One of them said such help should have been extended long ago given his already grim cirumstances. Another commented that the pictures were heartbreaking
