Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday wrote a letter to his Telangana counterpart A Revanth Reddy, proposing a face-to-face meeting on July 6 to address unresolved bifurcation issues.
Naidu proposed to meet at Reddy&rsquo;s place in Hyderabad.
&ldquo;It has been 10 years since bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. There have been multiple discussions concerning issues arising from the Reorganisation Act, which hold significant implications for the welfare and advancement of our states,&rdquo; said Naidu in the letter.
It is incumbent upon the CMs of the Telugu speaking states to foster close collaboration to ensure sustained progress and prosperity of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Naidu said.
He said a face-to-face meeting will provide an opportunity to engage comprehensively towards achieving mutually beneficial solutions.

TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth term on Wednesday at a ceremony that was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers.
Janasena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, son of Naidu, among others, took oath as Ministers. Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer administered the oath to Naidu and others.
PM Modi hugged and patted Chandrababu Naidu on him assuming office.
Later, the PM held the hands of Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan and fondly spoke to them and also had a brief conversation with former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth and his wife Latha on the dais.
Naidu retained his Kuppam constituency while Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh won from Pithapuram and Mangalagiri assembly segments in the recently held polls.
Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari and J P Nadda, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde were present.
Former Vice president M Venkaiah Naidu, Ex Chief Justice of India N V Ramana and Superstars Rajnikanth and Chiranjeevi also took part.
The Pawan Kalyan-led party has got three and BJP one berth in the 25-member present cabinet.
As per the strength of Andhra Pradesh assembly (175), the cabinet can have 26 ministers, including the CM.
Besides Naidu and Lokesh, TDP legislators K Atchannaidu, P Narayana, Kollu Ravindra, Nimmala Rama Naidu, Anitha Vangalapudi, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Kolusu Parthasarathy , NMD Farooq, Payyavula Keshav, A Stya Prasad, Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy, Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Gummidi Sandhya Rani, BC Janardhan Reddy, TG Bharath, S Savitha, Vasamsetty Subhash, Kondapalli Srinivas and Mandipalli Ram Prasad Reddy also took oath.
From Janasena party, Nadendla Manohar and Kandula Durgesh while BJP legislator Satya Kumar Yadav took oath as ministers along with Pawan Kalyan.
In separate meetings on Tuesday, the Telugu Desam Legislature Party and NDA partners elected Naidu as their leader.
The NDA comprising TDP, BJP and Janasena won a landslide victory in the recently concluded simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the southern state with a huge majority of 164 out of the total 175 Assembly and 21 out of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats.&nbsp;

Telugu Desam Party supremo N Chandrababu Naidu is set to be sworn in as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday, marking his fourth term in the post.

The TDP chief is scheduled to take oath at 11.27 am near Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli on the outskirts of Vijayawada. Along with Naidu, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, the TDP supremo's son Nara Lokesh and 22 others are also expected to take the oath.
According to NDA sources, Pawan Kalyan has been offered the Deputy chief minister's post. Janasena is being offered three cabinet berths and the BJP one.
In the 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly, the cabinet can have 26 ministers, including the chief minister.

Addressing the legislators, Naidu asserted that he is committed to developing Amaravati as the sole capital of the state.

A senior state government official had earlier said Prime Minister Modi is expected to arrive at Gannavaram Airport by 10.40 am and reach the venue by 10.55 am. He is likely to depart for Bhubaneswar at 12.45 pm.
TDP sources said invitations have been extended to farmers who gave their land for the Amaravati capital project and also to some people who were allegedly harassed during the previous YSR Congress regime.
Naidu became chief minister of then undivided Andhra Pradesh for the first time in 1995 and served two consecutive terms. In 2014 he became the first chief minister of Andhra Pradesh post-bifurcation and served in the post till 2019.
Following a landslide victory in the 2024 elections, Naidu is returning as chief minister for the fourth term.
The NDA in Andhra Pradesh, comprising TDP, BJP and Janasena, secured a brute majority in the Assembly with 164 seats. In the Lok Sabha polls that were conducted simultaneously, the alliance got 21 of the 25 parliamentary constituencies in the state.

The TDP chief was issued notice on April 4 for purportedly violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during his campaign speeches on March 31 by allegedly referring to CM Jagan as 'Monster, Animal, and Thief', and various other offensive terms.&nbsp;
As per the notice issued by the Chief Electoral Office of Andhra Pradesh, Naidu has been given 48 hours to provide an explanation regarding the derogatory remarks made against the YSR Congress Party and its leaders, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.&nbsp;
The notice was issued following a complaint filed by Lella Appi Reddy, State General Secretary of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), and another individual.&nbsp;
According to the notice, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, during his campaign rallies held in Yemmiganur, Markapuran, and Bapatla constituencies, reportedly used derogatory language, referring to Chief Minister &nbsp;Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy as a Monster, Animal, Thief, and various other insulting and offensive terms.&nbsp;
The Election Commission has reviewed the speeches in question, which were provided in a pen drive, and has determined that the prima facie violate provisions of the Model Code of Conduct.&nbsp;

Former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on March 9 confirmed his Telugu Desam Party and actor Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party have joined hands with the BJP for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh elections, which are expected to take place simultaneously.
Addressing reporters, Naidu expressed confidence in sweeping the elections.
"Andhra Pradesh has been destroyed badly. The BJP and the TDP coming together is a win-win situation for the country and the state," Naidu told a group of reporters here while lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
The alliance will sweep the polls in Andhra Pradesh, he asserted, lashing out at the YSR Congress, which is in power in the southern state.
Though an official announcement on seat sharing is awaited, the PTI news agency, quoting sources, reported that Naidu's Telugu Desam Party may contest in 17 Lok Sabha seats and 145 Assembly seats. Kalyan's Jana Sena party will contest in two Lok Sabha seats and the BJP in six.
The three parties sealed their alliance following a second round of talks involving their senior leaders on Saturday, sources said.

Senior advocate Siddharth Luthra, appearing for the TDP leader, rushed to a bench headed by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud after Justice Bhatti, who was sitting with Justice Sanjiv Khanna, recused himself from hearing his petition.
&ldquo;We will list it before an appropriate bench on Tuesday,&rdquo; said the bench, which also comprised justices J B Pardiwala and Manoj Misra.
The court also made it clear that it cannot restrain the trial judge from dealing with the prosecution's plea seeking further police custody of the TDP leader.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday sent to 14 days judicial custody till September 23, in connection with an alleged Skill Development Corporation scam.
Vijayawada ACB court Judge Himabindu read out the judgment on former CM Chandrababu's case.
The judge ordered the remand of Naidu for 14 days to judicial custody and suggested to take former CM to Rajahmundry Central Jail.
Earlier on Sunday morning, Naidu was produced before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court in Vijayawada in connection with an alleged Skill Development Corporation scam.
According to the officials, the former CM was produced before the court within 24 hours of his arrest.
On Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu was arrested by the Andhra Pradesh Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection to an alleged corruption case.

In a statement, TDP AP president K Atchannaidu requested the party cadre, people, and civil society to participate in the agitation and make it a success.
"The Telugu Desam Party has called for a statewide bandh tomorrow, Monday (September 11) in protest against the illegal arrest of Nara Chandrababu Naidu, atrocities on the party cadre, and vengeful politics," a press release from the party said.

The Crime Investigation Department which arrested TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development corporation scam case has said the former Chief Minister was non-cooperative during questioning and replied vaguely saying he did not remember certain issues.
Naidu was produced in an Anti-Corruption Bureau court in Vijayawada on Sunday morning amid tight security, a day after being arrested in a case of alleged corruption.
Seeking his judicial custody, the remand report said though the officials arranged a chopper to take him to Vijayawada from Nandyal where he was arrested, the Leader of the Opposition refused. The convoy was obstructed several times by TDP cadres which is an indication of intimidating law enforcement officials by virtue of his position.
"He was asked questions based on the note files, which form part of the evidence in this case diary. But to all the questions he was non-cooperative and replied vaguely that he could not recollect the facts. In this regard, the report was drafted in the presence of the mediators and duly attested by him," the report said.
The CID report further said after reaching the office of the CID, Naidu was questioned about his role in the offences in the presence of mediators. He was given breaks as per his request to consult a legal counsel, to meet the members of his family and have food and refreshments.
It said the TDP chief is not a flight risk.
The CID alleged that Chandrababu Naidu and the Telugu Desam Party were the "end beneficiaries" of the misappropriated funds.
The CID named G Subba Rao and K Lakshminarayana, former government employees, as A1 and A2 respectively in the case. According to the remand report submitted to the court, Naidu was named as Accused 37 (A37) in the case.
Naidu was arrested in a pre-dawn operation on Saturday at Nandyal for his alleged role in a multi-crore Skill Development Corporation scam, which involved officers knocking on the door of the caravan in which he was sleeping.
The former CM was arrested by the CID around 6 am on Saturday from a marriage hall (outside which his caravan was parked) at Gnanapuram in Nandyal.
The CID chief N Sanjay had said Naidu was the "principal conspirator" in the case.

Three women were killed and several others were injured on Sunday when people rushed to receive gifts leading to a stampede at a Telugu Desam Party rally in Guntur, the Andhra Pradesh government said.
The gift distribution began after TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu left the venue upon addressing the public meeting at Guntur.
A police official said that as soon as the organisers started distributing gifts, including sarees, the crowd swelled and they pushed the barricades away leading to a stampede. &nbsp;
The incident comes just three days after the death of eight people during a similar event in Nellore in southern Andhra Pradesh.
Expressing shock over the incident, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the government would stand by the families of the victims. In a statement, he ordered swift medical treatment to the injured.
Health Minister V Rajani alleged that the TDP campaigned for the past 10 days to woo people, assuring distribution of gifts.
&ldquo;Three lives have been sacrificed for Naidu&rsquo;s publicity mania,&rdquo; she told reporters at the hospital where the injured are being treated in Guntur.

Though this was a private programme, the state government has provided enough security. &ldquo;Chandrababu Naidu should own up the responsibility for the deaths,&rdquo; Rajani said.
A woman who has been admitted to hospital told reporters that they were given a token-like slip earlier in the day and they went to the venue of TDP's meeting to collect gifts.
Suddenly there was lot of rush and in the melee, people fell on the ground leading to deaths.
Guntur East MLA Mohammad Mustafa squarely blamed Naidu for the incident.
Quoting reports, he said three people died and he had no idea on the number of people who were injured.
&ldquo;I request the state government to stop this kind of activities, because they (TDP) are playing with people&rsquo;s lives. We just saw the incident in Kandukuru,&rdquo; the legislator said.
After the December 28 incident, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said he was pained by the mishap and announced Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to those injured.
The state government also announced a similar package to the victims.
YSR Congress Party general secretary and advisor to government (Public Affairs) Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, in a statement, had blamed TDP and its chief Naidu for the tragic incident.
Addressing the media on December 29, he said Naidu "deliberately" held the rally in a narrow lane in order to capture the visuals through drone shots to show a huge crowd for his meeting, the ruling party said. However, Naidu&rsquo;s &ldquo;self-promotion mission&rdquo; failed miserably and led to the &ldquo;murder&rdquo; of eight innocent people while injuring several others, he had said.&nbsp;
