Family members of Border Security Force (BSF) head constable Shishupal Singh Bagadia, who was killed in a violent protest in Congo, hit out at the Congress-led Rajasthan government accusing it of indifference.They alleged that the government did not share any information with them about the attack rather left them in the dark. 
The officer's wife Kamla Devi and his daughter said that they were in their Jaipur house for nearly a week, mourning, waiting for his body but nobody came to console them nor were they provided with any proper information.
“We want to know what exactly happened to my father. He served the nation more than his family. We want to know under what circumstances this incident happened. It should be inquired,” she said.
“Everyone just tweeted and nobody visited us,” she said.
“My husband has made the supreme sacrifice and I am proud of it, but I am disappointed with the government.
No one reached out to us. We know how we spent the last six-seven days, how difficult it was, we were crying but unfortunately, there was no one to tell us what actually happened,” Devi told reporters in the presence of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC)chief Govind Singh Dotasra. 
Bagadia was laid to rest with military honours in his ancestral village in Sikar. 
Thousands of people turned up to pay floral tributes to the soldier and a Tiranga yatra was taken out in honour of him from Balaran to Singodara, Dholas, Kheerwa and Dudwa to his native village in Laxmangarh.
Officials including BJP MP from Sikar Swami Sumedhanand, Govind Singh Dotasra, BSF officers paid tributes to Bagadia. 
Devi went on to tell Dotasra, “Being the state party president, I had expectations from you because it is your area (constituency).” To which the Congress leader replied that he was infected with COVID-19 and was hospitalised, therefore he could not visit her earlier.
Dotasra assured Devi that the state government stands by the family.

A newly built bridge in Congo collapsed as officials gathered to inaugurate it, according to local Khaama Press news agency.
Video of the accident are viral on social media with many people sharing their views on the construction quality.
The small bridge was built to help locals cross a river during the rainy season. The temporary structure that was there before the bridge used to break frequently, the news agency said in its report.
As soon as one of the delegates - a woman - took out scissors to cut the ribbon, the bridge succumbed to the pressure of the officials.
The video shows the female official seeking help and ready to jump to safety.
The security personnel immediately rush to the spot and drag the woman from the falling bridge.
The rest of the members of the official delegation were left hanging but fortunately, did not fall to the ground. Others can be immediately seen rushing to help the stranded officials.
The incident took place last week, according to iHarare. The bridge collapsed and broke into two.
"It's like the ribbon was the one holding the bridge together," a Twitter user wrote.

A new case of the Ebola virus has been confirmed in Congo's eastern Beni city, Congo's ministry of health announced Monday, saying it is linked to a previous outbreak.

The case involved a 46-year-old woman who was admitted to the Beni hospital in late July and died Aug. 15 after suffering symptoms associated with Ebola.

A new case of the Ebola virus has been confirmed in Congo's eastern Beni city, Congo's ministry of health announced Monday, saying it is linked to a previous outbreak.
Testing by a lab at the National Institute for Biomedical Research in Goma confirmed the case was the Ebola Zaire strain and was genetically linked to Congo's 10th outbreak in Ituri and North Kivu provinces from 2018 to 2020 that killed more than 2,000 people, the ministry said.
The case involved a 46-year-old woman who was admitted to the Beni hospital in late July and died Aug. 15 after suffering symptoms associated with Ebola.
&ldquo;Our team on site in Beni has carried out a dignified and secure burial and also decontaminated the hospital where the patient stayed,&rdquo; the ministry said.
There are more than 130 high-risk contacts that have been identified, of which 71 have been seen. The others remain at large, the ministry said.
&ldquo;We call on the population to calm down and to respect hygienic measures,&rdquo; the ministry's statement added.
Congo has recorded 14 Ebola outbreaks since the virus was discovered in the conflict-ridden country in 1976. The last outbreak from April to July took place in another region in Equateur province, killing five people.
Ebola is spread by contact with bodily fluids of an infected person or contaminated materials. However, the early symptoms of fever and muscle aches resemble those of other common diseases like malaria. In addition to vaccinations, there is now effective treatment available that, if received early, can improve chances of survival significantly.

This latest announcement in Beni comes as the region is under threat from various rebel groups, including the Allied Democratic Forces rebels who have killed more than 2,000 people in over a year, according to various rights groups.

PTI,&nbsp;Washington: The nomination of Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for brokering the landmark Israel-UAE deal is a "hard-earned and well-deserved honour," the White House has said, underlining that the US President has made peace a cornerstone of his foreign policy efforts.
Far-right Norwegian lawmaker Christian Tybring-Gjedde on Wednesday nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in mediating the deal between Israel and the UAE which is seen as a historic step towards peace in the Middle East.
Israel and the UAE announced on August 13 that they were establishing full diplomatic relations. The first commercial direct flight between Israel and the UAE landed in Abu Dhabi on August 31 after both countries announced normalisation of relations. The deal would be signed on September 15 at the White House.
The UAE is only the third Arab country to establish diplomatic ties with the Jewish state. Israel's neighbours, Egypt and Jordan, being the other two Arab states to recognise Israel.
"President Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of his work in brokering an Israel-United Arab Emirates peace deal. It was a historic deal and the first such deal in over two decades. This is a hard-earned and well-deserved honour for this President," White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said on Wednesday.
President Trump has made peace a cornerstone of his recent foreign policy efforts, she said.
Any lawmaker serving in a national legislature can nominate a person for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Tybring-Gjedde was one of two Norwegian lawmakers who nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 for his efforts to bring reconciliation between North Korea and South Korea. The 2018 prize was won by Denis Mukwege from Congo and Nadia Murad from Iraq for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict.
In his nomination letter on Wednesday, Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament for the far-right Progress Party, also cited Trump's &ldquo;key role in facilitating contact between conflicting parties and &hellip; creating new dynamics in other protracted conflicts, such as the Kashmir border dispute between India and Pakistan, and the conflict between North and South Korea, as well as dealing with the nuclear capabilities of North Korea,&rdquo; the Fox News reported.
Trump has repeatedly in the past offered to mediate between India and Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. However, India has maintained that the Kashmir issue is a bilateral one and no third party has any role.
McEnany said that the president's foreign policy will always be one of peace through strength, and that is what the American people are seeing abroad.
"Career politicians merely talk about the kind of results this president has achieved on the world stage," she said.
"These wins are possible because of the President's leadership and outsider perspective. President Trump addresses old challenges with new solutions and delivers results for the American people," she said.
Highlighting Trump's initiatives, McEnany said that the US has announced a drawdown of troops in Iraq from 5,200 to 3,000.
"We've secured better trade deals for the American worker. President Trump negotiated the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement), the U.S.-South Korea deal; ended the Trans-Pacific Partnership; brought back manufacturing jobs," she said. "President Trump has stood up to China: the phase one China deal; also tariffs to hold China accountable; and actions to block Huawei," she said.
President Trump has also defeated terrorists. The ISIS caliphate is destroyed. Al-Baghdadi is no longer on the battlefield, along with Iranian General Soleimani, she said.
He has also brokered economic normalisation between Serbia and Kosovo, a major breakthrough in this decades-old conflict, McEnany added.&nbsp;
