In a series of Tweets, he wrote "Ever since the back yard matches with my older brothers, I have played the game with pure enjoyment and unbridled enthusiasm. Now, at the age of 37, that flame no longer burns so brightly."&nbsp;de Villiers&nbsp;thanked all his coaches, fans in South&nbsp;Africa and India and was also grateful to RCB&nbsp;for the opportunities.
The news left his&nbsp;RCB&nbsp;teammate&nbsp;Virat&nbsp;Kohli&nbsp;heartbroken and he tweeted to say that their bond was beyond the game and will always be.&nbsp;ABD is the all-time 2nd highest run-scorer for RCB&nbsp;with&nbsp;4,491 runs in 156 matches.
