Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has tabled a confidence motion in the Assembly saying he wants to prove that not even one AAP MLA has taken up BJP's offer to switch sides. 
AAP has accused BJP of offering ₹20 crore each to 40 legislators for defection.
Meanwhile,  Opposition BJP MLAs were marshalled out of the Delhi Assembly ahead of the confidence motion for protesting in the well of the House. 
The BJP wanted the a discussion on various issues including the Central Vigilance Commission's report on construction of class rooms in Delhi and the excise policy 2021-22 among others.
The poaching allegations came on the back of BJP attacking AAP over an alleged liquor scam in the national capital. The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) is investigating alleged irregularities in the Delhi government's Excise Policy 2021-22, which has since been scrapped. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia is an accused in the case.
After a victory in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party is focusing on elections in BJP-ruled Gujarat slated towards the end of the year.

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal launched an initiative called &ldquo;Delhi@2047&rdquo;. The initiative aims to support partnerships of the government with corporates and citizen groups to work towards policies and strategies for the development of the capital.
Addressing a video conference involving policymakers, Kejriwal said that the&nbsp;long term goals include increasing Delhi&rsquo;s per-capita income to match that in Singapore and bidding for hosting the Olympic Games in 2048.
Kejriwal&nbsp;said that several sectors in Delhi, such as education, health, power and public services, have witnessed good growth and improvement over the years. However, several sectors need more work in the days to come.&nbsp;
Kejriwal&nbsp;further said that the goal of a 24x7 supply of water across the city needs to be accomplished immediately.
