Delhi on Sunday logged 948 fresh COVID-19 infections and two fatalities with a case positivity rate of 25.69, according to data shared by the Health department .
With the new fatalities, the death toll from the pandemic rose to 26,597 in the national capital. The total case tally is at 20,33,372.
Covid was the primary cause of death in one of the fatalities, the Health department said.
Of the 7,973 Covid beds in the city, 370 are occupied, the data showed.
Delhi on Saturday logged 1,515 fresh COVID-19 infections and six fatalities with a case positivity rate of 26.46.
The department did not issue a bulletin on Friday.

With the new cases, Delhi's COVID-19 tally climbed to 20,21,593. Five fresh fatalities pushed the death toll to 26,560, the health department bulletin stated.

The city had recorded a positivity rate of 30.6 per cent on January 14 last year.
With the new cases, Delhi's COVID-19 tally climbed to 20,21,593. Five fresh fatalities pushed the death toll to 26,560, the health department bulletin stated.
Of the latest fatalities, COVID-19 was the primary cause of death in one of the cases, while it was incidental in the other four, it stated.
According to the bulletin, the fresh cases emerged out of 4,376 tests conducted the previous day.
The department did not issue a bulletin on Friday.
Delhi reported 1,527 COVID-19 cases with a positivity rate of 27.77 per cent on Thursday, and two deaths.
The national capital's daily tally of COVID-19 cases crossed 1,000 for the first time in more than seven months on Wednesday, while the positivity rate stood at 23.8 per cent.&nbsp;

There are 54 COVID-19 patients admitted to hospitals in Delhi at present. 1,578 are recuperating in home isolation.  Of the 9,737 beds available for Covid patients in hospitals, just 91 are occupied.
Given the spike in cases, the Delhi government on Wednesday made the wearing of masks mandatory in public places and announced a fine of Rs 500 on violators.
It had lifted the fine for not wearing a mask on April 12 because of the decline in cases.
Officials said the Delhi Disaster Management Authority has also decided not to shut schools and will come up with a separate Standard Operating Procedure in consultation with experts.
Delhi has also started genome sequencing of samples of all Covid infected people in the capital to ascertain if a new variant, such as the XE, has spread in the city.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that there is no plan to impose lockdown as of now and there will be no lockdown if people wear masks.
He said that on Sunday the city is likely to report 22,000 COVID-19 cases in 24 hours.
He appealed to the public to wear masks and not panic.
“Rising COVID-19 cases is a matter of concern but there is no need to panic. Very few people are getting hospitalised. Wearing mask is very important. There will be no lockdown if you continue to wear mask. There is no plan to impose lockdown as of now,” Kejriwal said in a virtual press conference.

The four-stage Graded response Action Plan or GRAP was approved by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority in July in anticipation of a third wave of Covid.The first step of the graded plan under the Yellow, Amber and Orange alert curfew from 10 pm to 5 am will be imposed. The 'Yellow' alert will be sounded when the positivity rate crosses 0.5 per cent or new cases increase to 1,500 or oxygenated bed occupancy reaches 500. The response will involve allowing construction, manufacturing activities and opening of shops of essential goods.
However, shops and establishments of non-essential goods and services, and malls will be allowed to open between 10 am and 8 pm based on the odd-even formula. Only one weekly market per zone with 50 per cent of vendors will be allowed to open if the 'yellow' alert is sounded.
