Though, no one was injured all the belongings of the players there were burnt. The incident has now brought Eden Gardens&rsquo; infrastructure into question as the ground is set to host 5 World Cup matches, starting October 28.
The Cricket Association of Bengal will have to complete the renovation by September 15.

According to reports, Dravid, who celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday, felt sick and complained of high blood pressure at the team hotel.
The former Indian captain was prescribed medicines to ease the discomfort, following which he felt better and reported for his duties at the Eden Gardens.&nbsp;

As Team India completed yet another series win against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli and Ishan Kishan were seen flaunting their dance moves during the laser show at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The video that is doing the rounds on the internet shows both Team India players dancing freely near the boundary rope while the fans were enjoying the laser show at the stadium.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and surviving Mohun Bagan team members who played against the legendary football superstar when he came to Eden Gardens to play for New York Cosmos Club on September 24, 1977, have also been invited.&nbsp;
