With job insecurity and mass layoffs in companies, making headlines every other day, a recent report showing 88 per cent of young employees in India planning job change this year, is crucial. &nbsp;
The survey was conducted by LinkedIn which shows that in India hiring level dropped by 23% in December 2022 as compared to the year before. Every 4 out of 5 people are looking for new roles especially people in the age group of 18-24. On the other hand, 64% of people belonging to the age group of 45-54 are looking for a change.

A recent study claims that over-bragging or grunting about work lowers the confidence of the entire team. A 'pat oneself on the back' can sometimes backfire. So, it&rsquo;s better to mellow down your self-praise mode and lend some extra hands to the ones who need it.

Intel Corp, the world's largest semiconductor manufacturer, is going to lay off thousands of employees. This disclosure has been made in a recent Bloomberg report. According to the report, the layoffs can be announced as early as this month. In this layoff, about 20% employees are from sales and marketing divisions. Intel, on the other hand, declined to comment on the job cuts.&nbsp;

Meta announces hiring freeze, Zuckerberg blames economy

According to Bloomberg reports that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced plans to stop hiring and restructure some groups within the company.

As the tech industry suffers through a slowdown in recent months, Facebook&rsquo;s parent company Meta announced hiring freeze and &ldquo;further restructure&rdquo;.&nbsp;
Acoording to reports, Zuckerberg made these comments during an internal call to employees.
Zuckerberg also said that Meta would reduce budgets across most teams, and that individual teams will have to resolve how to handle headcount changes, the report added.
Zuckerberg reportedly added that budgets will be slashed across most teams at Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
The announcement comes after several tech companies have been forced to slash headcount in recent months, as advertisers trim spending in anticipation of a recession.
