Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said examination paper leaks were a "systematic failure" and asserted that the "serious problem" would be eradicated only when all political parties and governments forget their differences to take strict steps together.
The former Congress chief said the future of 85 lakh children in six states is at risk as paper leak has become the most dangerous "padmavyuh" for our youth.
"Paper leaks put hardworking students and their families into uncertainty and stress, taking away the fruits of their hard work. It also sends the wrong message to the next generation that dishonesty can be better than hard work, which is completely unacceptable," he said in a post in Hindi on X.
"It has not even been a year since the NEET paper leak shook the country.After our protest, the Modi government hid behind a new law and called it a solution, but so many recent leaks have proven that to be a failure as well," he said.
This serious problem is a systematic failure, Gandhi asserted.
It will be eradicated only when all political parties and governments forget their differences and take strict steps together, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said.
"The dignity of these exams is the right of our children and it has to be protected at all costs," Gandhi asserted.
Using the 'chakravyuh' metaphor as a leitmotif, Gandhi had last year claimed that an atmosphere of fear prevails all around with a group of six trapping the entire country in a 'chakravyuh' he promised would be broken by the INDIA bloc.
Chakravyuh' refers to a multi-layered military formation aimed at trapping a warrior by opponents placed strategically in an alignment resembling a lotus-shaped labyrinth.
Gandhi had said the 'chakravyuh' is also called a 'padmavyuh' for its resemblance to a lotus (BJP's election symbol) formation.

ChatGPT has once again demonstrated its remarkable abilities, as a recent study conducted by Tiffany Kung and colleagues at AnsibleHealth in California showed that it could pass the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) with a score of around 60%. The USMLE is a highly standardised and regulated series of exams that are required for medical licensure in the US.
 In the study, ChatGPT was tested on 350 of the 376 publicly available questions from the June 2022 USMLE release and received a score range of 52.4% to 75% across all exams. This result outperformed PubMedGPT, a rival model trained exclusively on biomedical literature, which scored 50.8% on an older set of USMLE-style questions.

Gujarat: junior clerk exam cancelled after paper leak; 1 person detained

The Gujarat government's competitive examination for the recruitment of junior clerks was cancelled hours before it was scheduled on Sunday over its question paper leak and police detained a suspect in this connection, the state panchayat exam board said.
As many as 9.5 lakh candidates had registered for the exam for 1,181 posts which was to be held at 2,995 centres across the state.
Based on a tip-off, police detained a suspect and recovered a copy of the question paper of the exam early Sunday morning, after which the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board decided to "postpone" the exam in the wider interest of the candidates, the board said in a statement.
The police were investigating the matter, it said.
"The junior clerk (administrative/accounting) exam was to be conducted in different districts between 11 am and 12 noon on January 29. As per the information received from the police early Sunday morning, they detained a suspect and upon his interrogation seized a copy of the question paper from his possession," the board said in the statement.

The board expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the candidates and informed them not to go to the examination centres.

Gujarat Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi claimed this was the 15th government competitive exam which was cancelled in the last 12 years because of question paper leak.

Meanwhile, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) North Railways, Rekha Sharma ordered special trains for the students from Prayagraj to Lucknow and from Ayodhya to several districts, said an ANI report.&nbsp;
However, the efforts to tackle the rush and demands of the candidates seemed to have failed as lakhs struggled and expressed their displeasure with the Transport and Railway departments.&nbsp;
