Singapore&rsquo;s Shannon Tan made history as she stormed to victory on her Ladies European Tour pro-debut.
Before the event started, the 19-year-old had already made history as she became the first Singaporean golfer to ever compete on the LET.
She went on to claim her debut victory with a 12-under 280 total at the season opener at the Magical Kenya Ladies Open.

Anirban Lahiri shot a 7-under 65 and Bryson DeChambeau delivered the theatrics on the back nine of the Blue Monster to lead the Crushers to a two-shot victory over the RangeGoats in the LIV Golf team championship Sunday at Trump Doral.
The scores from all four players on every team counted in the final event of LIV Golf's second season, and the Crushers were in control for almost all of the back nine, and led by four shots as the final group reached the 18th hole.
DeChambeau made only one par on the back nine and shot 67. Charles Howell III had a 72 and Paul Casey had a 73.
Bubba Watson birdied the 18th for a 67 to lead the RangeGoats. Talor Gooch, who won the individual points title this season, and Thomas Pieters each had 70. Harold Varner III shot 72.
The RangeGoats were still only two behind until Gooch put his tee shot on the 18th into the water, making bogey and leaving the Crushers in a solid position. DeChambeau made his most remarkable birdie on the reachable 16th, which he hit long and left near the second green. He hit a high wedge over a concession area to about 18 feet and made the putt.
Lahiri played bogey-free for the low round among the four teams playing for the title.
&ldquo;I was really pumped up,&rdquo; Lahiri said. &ldquo;I had a couple of Sundays where I let myself down. I wasn't going to let the team down today.&rdquo; The defending champion 4 Aces never had a chance, with Dustin Johnson closing with a 75 and only one player &mdash; Peter Uihlein with a 69 &mdash; breaking 70. They finished last among the four teams. Torque finished third.
The Crushers won $14 million from the $50 million purse. Of that payoff, 60% goes to the team and the players divide the rest &mdash; $1.4 million per player.
The other eight teams, all beaten during quarterfinals and semifinals of match play, competed in two separate tiers to determine their final placing.

However, gold medal hopes came crashing down as Aditi had an average final day and finished with a silver medal.
Moreover, the trio of Aditi Ashok, Avani Prashanth and Pranavi Urs came close to a historic Asian Games medal in the women's team even but it was not to be.
At the conclusion of Round 3, the women's team held the Gold medal position. However, a setback during the round, particularly for Aditi Ashok, coupled with limited support from the other two golfers, resulted in India slipping out of podium contention.
Never the less, a super effort helped Aditi become the first Indian golfer to win an individual medal since 2002.

India's Shubhankar Sharma produced the best-ever result by an Indian at golf&rsquo;s oldest Major, the Open Championship, as he finished tied-eighth here on Sunday.
Sharma, playing his third Open, was the only player on the final day to log a bogey-free round of 1-under 70 for a total of 5-under 279. He finished Tied-eighth, earning a recall to the Open in 2024 also.
Sharma&rsquo;s result was also the second-best by an Indian in any Major behind the T-5 by Anirban Lahiri at the 2015 PGA Championships.
Jeev Milkha Singh was also T-9 at the 2008 PGA Championships. The previous best by an Indian at an Open was T-27 by Jyoti Randhawa in 2004 at Royal Troon, where the Open returns next year.
The runaway winner was the short left-hander from the United States, Brian Harman, who refused to fall prey to nerves as he had six years ago in the US Open.
He started the wet and soggy final day at Royal Liverpool Golf Club with a five-shot lead and finish six ahead of a foursome -- Tom Kim (67), Sepp Straka (69) , Jason Day (69) and Jon Rahm (70), who were all tied at 7-under 277.
Sharma, who made the cut on his 27th birthday on Friday, and Cameron Young were tied eighth at 5-under 279, while Rory McIlroy (68) and Argentine Emiliano Grillo (68) were tied sixth.
Sharma called his play during the week and the final round in particular as &ldquo;the best I have played in such conditions.&rdquo; &ldquo;Without doubt it was the best I have played and on such a challenging course," he said.
Sharma produced rounds 68-71-70-70, all four rounds being par or better and was tied eighth place. His two previous finishes in the Open were both T-51.
The 2024 Open will be held at the Royal Troon and the final day will be on Sharma&rsquo;s 28th birthday.
&ldquo;The Open is always around my birthday so it is always a double celebration,&rdquo; he had said earlier.
He had kept the celebrations on hold this week, but said with friends and family here, it will all be held next week.
&ldquo;Right now I am just thrilled with the week&rsquo;s result. It is something I have always believed in. The last few weeks I played good golf, but things did not come together and this week, right from the start I had a good feeling,&rdquo; said Sharma, who was greeted by his family including father ML Sharma, mother Neena, sister Vandini and coach Jesse Grewal, as he finished.
Talking of records, Sharma said, &ldquo;I am not playing for records. I just want to play my best golf. Jeev, Jyoti and Anirban are all great players. To be mentioned along with them is an honour by itself.
&ldquo;It was very satisfying. I am beyond happy.&rdquo; Sharma started with 13 pars and then had a birdie on 14th and later missed birdie putts on 17th and 18 by the closest margins.
American Brian Harman (70), started the final day five shots ahead of the next best and cut through the field for a huge six-shot win. There were four players, Tom Kim (67), Sepp Straka (69), Jason Day (69) and Jon Rahm (70) in the crowded second place.
Harman&rsquo;s previous best at a Major was T-2 at the US Open, where he led after three rounds but lost to Brooks Koepka in the final round.
Harman dropped two bogeys in the first five holes, but found his feet again in slippery conditions, which saw many bigger names fall.
After getting back to 12-under with birdies on sixth and seventh, he had five more pars. Then came another bogey on 12th but he quickly repaired the damage with birdies on 14th and 15th and reached 13-under and finished there amidst heavy downpour.
The foursome in a tie for second included Korea&rsquo;s amazing talent Kim, who revealed that he had suffered a Grade One tear on his ankle, but played the next three days through it to shoot 68-68-67 on the final three days.
The others were Straka (69), who won the second of his two PGA TOUR wins earlier this month at John Deere Classic, and two former World No.1s , Jason Day (69) and Jon Rahm (70).
The winner in Hoylake in 2014, Rory McIlroy (68) tied for sixth alongside Emiliano Grillo (68) at 6-under, while Sharma tied for eighth with Cameron Young (73), the runner-up in 2022 at St Andrews.&nbsp;

India's Diksha Dagar became the second Indian to get success in the Ladies European Tour (LET) by winning the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open on June 25

Talented Diksha Dagar finally cruised to her second Ladies European Tour as she grabbed a commanding four-shot win at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open on Sunday.
The 22-year-old southpaw Diksha won her first LET title back in 2019 in her rookie year and in 2021 she was part of the winning team at the Aramco Team Series in London.
This was Diksha's 79th start on the LET and she now has two individual wins and nine Top-10 finishes, four of which have come this season.
Starting the day with a five-shot lead, Diksha, who hails from Jhajjar in Haryana, duly delivered the win with no hiccups.
Diksha's final round 69 included four birdies and just one bogey in a week. She dropped shots only once each on first and last days with a bogey-free 65 in between on the second day.
Thailand's Trichat Cheenglab made a valiant charge on the final day with a 64, but her first two rounds of 73-70 meant she started the final day nine shots behind Diksha and that was too much overcome for the Thai.
The 22-year-old Indian was steady throughout Sunday just as she had been all week. Trichat finished with a total of 9-under and was sole second while Frenchwoman Celine Herbin (69-72-67) was third at 8-under.
After a series of Top-10 finishes, three of them in last four starts, Diksha finally forced the door open with a stunning performance that was highlighted by a second round of 7-under 65.
She compiled rounds of 69-65-69 with 13 birdies, an eagle and just two bogeys in 54 holes over three rounds.
She played superbly despite windy conditions early in the week at the Royal Beroun Golf Club, where she had finished Tied-fourth in 2021.
Diksha was the second Indian to win on the LET Tour after Aditi Ashok won the Hero Women's Indian Open in 2016 to become the first Indian to triumph on the Tour.
Diksha now becomes the second Indian to win in 2023 as Aditi won the Magical Kenya Ladies earlier this season. The duo are the only Indians to have tasted success on LET.
She won her first LET title in 2019 at the Investec Women&rsquo;s South African Open in March 2019 and now after four years, three months and 11 days she recorded her second individual success.
Starting the final day with a string of six pars, she birdied the seventh and ninth to turn in 2-under and moved to 12-under.
This season Diksha was tied sixth in Belgian Ladies, tied 8th at Helsingborg Ladies Open and tied 3rd at Amundi German Masters last week.
Playing on a sponsor's exemption this week, Pranavi lost her momentum on the back nine and dropped three shots on 11th, 12th and 18th and finished with 3-under 69 for her best finish on LET at Tied-17th.
She shot 75-68-69 to total 4-under and finish Tied-17th, her best result on the LET.
The other Indian, who made the cut was Ridhima Dilawari, who finished with a round of 71 to be Tied-51st.
About the course and the event, Diksha had said,"Two years ago, I finished in the top five during the Olympic qualification period. My target was to finish in the top five. I have played here multiple times and I know this course very well." "I'm feeling confident. My main focus is to play good golf and at the moment I'm enjoying it." Diksha, who was born with a hearing impairment and has been wearing hearing aids since the age of six, has overcome the hurdles amazingly well with the support from her family. Her father Col Narinder Dagar is also her mentor, coach and caddie.
Diksha has also twice medallist at the Deaflympics (Olympics for the Deaf), including a gold medal in 2021 after taking silver in 2017. In 2021 she also participated in the Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first-ever golfer to compete at both Deaflympics and the main Olympic Games. She also participated in the 2018 Asian Games.
Ranked 22nd on the Race to Costa Del Sol on then Ladies European Tour, Diksha is expected to force her way into Top-10 and improve dramatically in her world rankings from the current 297 and come to around 225.
Four players Lily May Humphreys (68), Laura Beveridge (63), Gabriela Cowley (70) and Cara Gainer (70) were tied fourth at 7-under.

Taylor, sank the unlikely putt to beat Tommy Fleetwood in the fourth play-off hole to become the first Canadian to win his home Open for 69 years.
Hadwin, who competed in the event, popped open a bottle of champagne and ran towards his friend and caddie as they celebrated the winning moment.
However, one security guard didn't recognize Hadwin and was quick to stop the 35-year-old in his tracks.
Later his wife tweeted that Hadwin - being a good Canadian, had apologized to the security guard!

The PGA Championship stuck to its mission of getting the strongest field of the four majors, announcing a field Wednesday that includes 99 of the top 100 in the world ranking no matter what tour they play.
Missing from the 155-player list is Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia, the former Masters champion who had been eligible for every major dating to the 1999 British Open at Carnoustie.
Woods had ankle surgery last month, which will likely keep him out of the next two majors.
The PGA Championship starts on 18 May at Oak Hill just outside Rochester, New York.
The last time Garcia was not eligible was for the U.S. Open in 1999 &mdash; he was 19 and in his second month as a pro. Garcia did not play in the 2020 Masters held in November because he tested positive for the coronavirus. The Spaniard currently is No. 189 in the world.
The only player from the top 100 not in the field is Will Zalatoris, who is No. 9 in the world and out for the rest of the season after surgery on his lower back.
Justin Thomas is the defending champion. He rallied from seven shots behind last year at Southern Hills and defeated Zalatoris in a three-hole aggregate playoff.

India's Aditi Ashok continued her brilliant run as she added a 6-under 66 in the second round to move to 13-under and a two-shot lead over world No. 1 Lydia Ko in the Aramco Saudi Ladies International here on Friday.
Aditi, who in the last two weeks had won in Kenya and finished third in Morocco, is leading a star-studded field at the USD 5 million event on the Ladies European Tour.
Starting on the tenth tee, Aditi was in excellent form as she found five birdies and an eagle on the back nine of the Royal Green Golf Club to score 7-under 29 on the stretch.
Getting to the front nine, Aditi, who was bogey free on the first day, bogeyed the first and sixth and was on 12-under when she holed a final birdie to move to 13-under and two clear of Lydia, who had earlier finished the day at 3-under 69 to get to 12-under and be tied second with American Lilia Vu (66).
Aditi, a four-time LET winner, who ended a long winless streak two weeks ago in Kenya, divides her time between Ladies European Tour and LPGA. She has begun the 2023 season with three events on the LET and already has a win and third place in those starts.
Focusing on a strong off-season preparation, she has been reaping rich rewards for her work. She used the two months between the two seasons to work and practice.
Aditi said, "I think two months off and practicing a lot compared to how much I would've practiced if I was in season has helped with the start to the year.
"I have played here three times before, I know the golf course a little bit, and maybe that familiarity helps me feel comfortable here." After the first day, when she shot 65, she said, 'I think early on I hit a couple bad drives, but I managed to save par on those holes. I knew it was one of those days, that even if you don't hit a good shot things were working out for me today, so glad I was able to capitalise on that." Swiss golfer Albane Valenzuela (66) was fourth, while Gaby Lopez (69) and Emily Kristine Pedersen (67) were tied fifth.

With the round of 71, she moved to 6-under after two rounds of the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.
Aditi, who won the Magical Kenya Ladies Open last week by nine shots, had shot a 4-under round on the first day. She is two shots behind leader Maja Stark going into the weekend.
While Aditi confidently moved into the final round, India's other star, Diksha Dagar missed the cut after rounds of 81-77.

Both the events were excluded from this year's commonwealth Games. Indian athletes have dominated in shooting in the history of CWG, having won a total of 135 medals, including 63 Gold medals in the sport. In fact, it's India's most in a spot.
Wrestling is next on the list with Indians winning a total of 114, including 49 Gold medals. However, wrestling and Archery will not be part of the 2026 Commonwealth Games. 
Notably, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) had urged the Commonwealth Games Federation earlier this year to include shooting and wrestling in Victoria 2026 after they were excluded from the initial list.
Apart from that, Coastal Rowing, Golf, and BMX are the 3 new sports that will make its debut at the Commonwealth Games.

Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh has lodged an FIR under sections 420, 406, and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code for receiving challans worth Rs. 83,000 for a Mercedes car he had sold back in 2014.

Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh, son of late Olympian sprinter Milkha Singh moved the court in Chandigarh as he received notices related to 63 challans worth Rs. 83,000 for a Mercedes car he had sold back in 2014.
Jeev had sold the car for 35 lakhs to Nitin Jain in June 2014 via a car dealer named Tejinder Singh. The car, however, is still registered to Jeev Milkha's name as, despite the sale of the car, the new owner did not transfer the registration of the same.
The car is a 10-year-old diesel model which means that the car couldn't be registered in New Delhi. Jeev had issued legal notices and lodged a complaint for both the owner and the dealer regarding the notices he had been getting since 2015 and after receiving yet another one from Delhi Court, he had no option but to move the court in order to clear his name from the situation.

The American golfer Tiger Woods announced on Tuesday that he will not compete in next week's US Open at Brookline to recover from injuries. Woods has won the US Open three times in 2000, 2002 and in 2008.
