According to police, the students complained of uneasiness, dizziness and vomiting after having dinner on 8th March. A team of the local food safety department rushed to the site for an inspection.

As many as 76 students were hospitalised due to suspected food poisoning after having dinner made for those observing Mahashivratri fast at a private hostel in Uttar Pradesh&rsquo;s Greater Noida, police said on Saturday.
The students, who are enrolled at different colleges, had the dinner on Friday after which many of them complained of uneasiness, dizziness and vomiting, police said.
The students were staying at Aryan Residency in the Knowledge Park area &mdash; an educational hub &mdash; and had &lsquo;puris&rsquo; made of &lsquo;kuttu ka atta&rsquo; (buckwheat flour) on account of Mahashivratri on Friday.
&ldquo;The local police are seized of the incident which took place on Friday evening after around 76 students had their dinner and then complained of their stomachs getting upset. All the students were taken to different hospitals and their condition is stable now,&rdquo; police said in a statement.
There is no law and order issue due to the incident and the matter is being probed, it added.
Meanwhile, a team of the local food safety department rushed to the site for an inspection.
&ldquo;The team will collect samples of food items and raw materials used to prepare the dinner. The samples would be analysed and legal proceedings initiated accordingly,&rdquo; an official told PTI.
Students said they had dinner which was cooked separately for them owing to their fast.
&ldquo;We had dinner at around 9.30 pm. I started feeling dizzy by 10.30 pm and then went to sleep. Some friends then noticed that a lot of students had started complaining of dizziness, uneasiness, vomiting,&rdquo; said Piyush, a student recuperating at a private hospital.
&ldquo;My body started trembling around midnight and I felt feverish and dizzy. Two of my roommates and I were then brought to the emergency department here. Some others in my hostel were vomiting too,&rdquo; another student Kushal told reporters at the Kailash Hospital.&nbsp;

The RWA president said that it was a request after some women complained about a senior citizen doing yoga while wearing loose cloth.
Some residents quoted by Hindustan Times said that they didn't have a problem with the circular.

Continuing the probe into the murder of Nikki Yadav, Delhi Police on 19 February 2023 took accused Sahil Gehlot to the temple where the two had gotten married.
Gehlot was taken to the Arya Samaj Mandir in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida, sources were quoted as saying by news agency PTI. Police recorded statements of the temple priest, and witnesses who were present at the time of the marriage.
Cops have arrested Gehlot, his father, two cousins, and two friends, so far. Gehlot allegedly killed his wife Nikki and stuffed her body in a refrigerator at a 'dhaba' in order to marry another woman.
Gehlot had married Yadav at an Arya Samaj temple in 2020. The couple had not informed their respective families about their marriage. "However, when Gehlot's parents started looking for a girl for his marriage and started pressuring him to take interest in marriage..., he finally revealed to his family that he was already married," a police officer said earlier.
When Gehlot's family got to know about his marriage to Yadav, they expressed their displeasure over him marrying a girl of his choice without informing them.

An official of the local Bisrakh police station said, "The women had claimed that the accused were taking their pictures without their consent and when they informed their friends about it, an argument broke out between the two sides, followed by a fight." "A police team reached the society shortly after we got to know about the incident. The two sides reached a compromise later and there was no official complaint from either side," the official added.
However, the accused were arrested as a preventive measure under section 151 (arrest to prevent a cognizable offence without orders from magistrate) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), Bisrakh police station in-charge Anil Kumar Rajput said.
The accused have been identified as Bharat Singh (40), a head constable of the Delhi Police, Jai Singh (32) and Kuldeep (35). All three live in the same society, Rajput said.&nbsp;
