Both sides have filed FIRs against each other at the Shivaji Nagar police station, they said.
Around two dozen men had created a ruckus at the &lsquo;Roti Boti&rsquo; restaurant located in the old jail complex near Sohna Chowk on Monday night. According to police sources, the spot is thronged by people who openly drink and sell liquor.
Based on the complaints of both parties, the police registered a cross-case and arrested three accused &mdash; Aniket, a resident of Khandsa village, Hemant Sharma and Mohit, a resident of Islampur village, said police.
&ldquo;Two cases have been registered against accused Aniket under Excise Act in Gurugram. We are conducting raids to nab other accused,&rdquo; said the spokesperson of Gurugram police.&nbsp;

The incident, shared on Reddit by user kushpyro1 under the subreddit r/Gurgaon, unfolded on a Saturday morning when the resident booked a ride to Anand Vihar Terminal.
The user narrated the incident, revealing they had booked a Priority Sedan Cab to catch a train. As the driver neared their location, the passenger checked their phone to verify the OTP and stumbled upon a shocking message in the Uber chat: "I want to kidnap you."
"I am shivering while writing this. I have a train in an hour, and God knows if I&rsquo;ll reach there on time," the user wrote, recounting the ordeal.
A Narrow Escape
Panicked yet quick-thinking, the passenger immediately took a screenshot of the chat and attempted to cancel the ride. "When I began to cancel, the driver canceled the ride himself. I ran back into my house with my luggage," the post read. The driver, identified as Chandan, was reportedly driving a Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
Autocorrect or Threat?
The post included a screenshot of the chat where the driver&rsquo;s last message read, "I want to go to kidnap you happily." Reddit users were divided in their reactions. While some speculated it might have been an autocorrect error, others suggested reporting the incident to authorities or Uber&rsquo;s customer support.
Seeking Justice and Safety

While the resident&rsquo;s quick actions ensured their safety, the incident is a grim reminder of the unexpected dangers that can arise during routine travel. Uber has yet to issue a statement on the matter.

According to a letter issued on Monday by Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) traffic Virender Vij, May 20 has been set as the deadline for the auto drivers to comply with the order.
"All the presidents of the auto unions of district Gurugram are informed that by May 20 all the auto drivers should wear grey-coloured uniforms with the badge stitched on the left side. After this, as per the instructions of the transport commissioner, Haryana, the auto drivers who do not follow the order will be challaned under the section 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act," the letter stated.
"Dress code for auto drivers is already in force in Gurugram but some auto drivers are still not following the order. We have now given them time till May 20, after which strict action will be taken against auto drivers who do not follow the order," DCP Vij said.

According to police, 4,279 complaints and 198 cases were found to be registered against these fraudsters.
DCP Siddhant Jain said Rs 4.20 lakh, four mobile phones and two SIM cards were recovered from the accused.
After examining these SIM cards and reviewing the data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C), it was found that fraud of about Rs 14.60 crore has been committed by these fraudsters across the country, he added.
Out of the total cases registered against them, 16 are lodged in Haryana, including 5 in Gurugram, police said.
Those arrested have been identified as Deepak Kumar, Naveen, Dhanvant, Bharat Keshwani, Paras Rajbhar, Manish Kushwah, Deepak Kushwah, Nadeem, Rakesh, Navin and Amita Singh, they added.
"During the police interrogation it was revealed that these accused used to commit fraud in the name of purchasing goods online on OLX and by defrauding money through social media platform Instagram,&rdquo; DCP Jain said.&nbsp;

Gurugram has 25,46,916 voters, of which 13,47,521 are male, 11,99,317 are female and 78 are transgenders, whereas in Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency, the number of voters is 24,14,168, of which 13,10,206 are male, 11,03,844 female, and 118 transgenders.
Polling for all the 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana will take place on May 25 followed by counting on June 4.
The notification for elections will be issued on April 29. The deadline for filing nominations is May 6. The scrutiny of nominations will be done on May 7, and candidates can withdraw their nominations until May 9.
In the 2019 LS polls, the voting percentage in Haryana was 70.36.
"This time the target is to increase it to at least 75 per cent," the Haryana CEO said.
For this, several unique initiatives have been undertaken by the election department, including launching the Voter in Queue app, sending polling invitations to voters akin to wedding invitations, and setting up 31 polling booths in the multi-storey societies of Gurugram, he said.
He said 1,99,81,982 voters across the state are eligible to cast their votes in 10 Lok Sabha constituencies.
Meanwhile, among other LS constituencies, he said that in Ambala there are 10,51,443 male voters, 9,35,635 female voters, and 76 transgender voters.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Cyber) Siddhant Jain said four mobile phones and Rs 32000 in cash were recovered from the accused.
He added that after examining these SIM cards and reviewing the data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C), it was found that the fraud of about Rs 4.5 crore has been committed by these accused across the country.
The accused have been identified as Nitish, resident of Chomu in Rajasthan; Monu from Bhonkarka village; Ravikant from Samastipur, Bihar; and Vikas Kumar from Vaishali district, Bihar, police said.
"During the police interrogation, it was revealed that these accused committed fraud by making phone calls to people and cheating them in the name of transferring money online, investing in share market, offering online loans and getting money transferred by pretending to be experts," DCP Jain said.
The police said a total of 1,378 complaints and 64 cases are lodged against the accused. Of these, four cases are registered at Cyber Crime police station in Manesar, they added.
Further investigations are underway, the police said.

A total of 18,163 complaints had been filed and 865 cases registered against them, he said.
According to ACP Priyanshu Diwan, three laptops, 41 mobile phones and eight SIM cards were seized from the arrested accused.
After examining the SIM cards and reviewing the data from the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Center (I4C), it was found that they committed fraud of about Rs 64.85 crore across the country, he said.
Out of the total cases, 39 cases are registered in Haryana.
The arrested accused were identified as Dayaram, Yogesh, Vikas Meena, Akshay Tiwari, Dheeraj Kumar, Vishnu, Rohit Verma, Ranjit, Ajay Paswan, Akash, Amardeep, Harshit Handuja, Tarun Kumar, Deepak, Himanshu, Parasdeep, Arshdeep, Rajendra, Sunil, Pawan, Sushil, Subhash, Jagmohan, Rambharose, Vivek Singh and Ranjeet, the police said.
"During interrogation, it was revealed that these accused committed fraud by making phone calls to people and cheating them on the pretext of transferring money online, investing in the share market, offering online loans...," ACP Dewan claimed.&nbsp;

The Gurugram Police have arrested two men who allegedly used to open bank accounts on forged identities and sell them to other cyber criminals on commission basis, police here said on Wednesday.
The accused Ashutosh alias Rohit, a resident of Haryana, would open bank accounts with a fake Adhaar cards. His aide Mohit would then sell these accounts to other cyber fraudsters for parking proceeds of crime, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Cyber Crime), said.
The matter came to light when a woman filed a complaint at the Cyber Crime police station in Manesar on March 23 alleging that she was duped of Rs 20 lakh on the pretext of a fake parcel, the ACP said.
A case was lodged based on the woman's complaint and a probe was launched, Dewan said.
The investigation led the police to the accused duo who were finally nabbed on March 31, he said.
A total of 38 ATM cards, 30 bank chequebooks, eight mobile phones with SIM cards, a passport, a fake Aadhar card and a PAN card, were recovered from their possession, he added.
"During interrogation, the accused revealed that the amount defrauded from the victim in the case was transferred to Ashutosh's bank account which was opened using a fake Aadhaar card," the ACP said.
"The accused have been taken into three days of police remand and we are questioning them," he added.

According to the police, the arrested accused were identified as Sahil Sondhi, a native of Preet Nagar in Jalandhar (Punjab), Praveen Kumar, a resident of the Chamar Khera village in the Sirsa district, Sushil Kumar, a native of Patna, Vakeel, a resident of Alwar (Rajasthan), Govind Vaishav, a native of Shahpura (Rajasthan), Sandeep, a resident of Maruti Kunj in Gurugram and a minor, the police said.

The Gurugram Police Tuesday arrested the manager of a local restaurant where five friends got severe cuts in their mouths and started vomiting after having a mouth freshener which allegedly had dry ice mixed in it, officials said.
They said Laforestta, the cafe-cum-restaurant in Sector 90, was found locked on Tuesday when a police team visited there. "We will issue a notice to the owner also to join the investigation," said Surender Sheoran, ACP Manesar.
According to the police, the arrested manager is 30-year-old Gagandeep, a resident of Kirti Nagar in Delhi, who joined the cafe three months ago.
"In the preliminary interrogation, the arrested manager said it was due to negligence by the restaurant staff that a packet of mouth freshener and dry ice got mixed mistakenly. He said there was no ill-intention towards the guests and what happened was unfortunate," said a senior police officer.
Police said two of the five people are still hospitalised.
Ashwani Rustagi, a relative of one of the victims, said, "It is a very big negligence on the part of the restaurant and action should be taken against the owner." According to the complaint lodged by Ankit Kumar, a resident of Greater Noida, they had gone to Laforestta restaurant in Sector 90 on the night of March 3. They were given a mouth freshener after their dinner.
As soon as they had the mouth freshener they got burning sensation in their mouth and they started vomiting, he said, adding they were taken to a hospital after their health deteriorated.
A video of the incident, which has gone viral on social media, showed the five friends purportedly vomiting blood.
"After getting information about the victims from the hospital, police reached the spot and an FIR was registered. We also visited the Laforestta Cafe and restaurant, but it was found locked," Sheoran said.
"Today, I again visited the restaurant but it is still locked. We have arrested the manager of the restaurant and he is being produced in a city court. We will issue a notice to the owner of the restaurant to join the investigation", he said.

&ldquo;Everyone here is vomiting. They have cuts on their tongues. Their mouths are burning. Don't know what type of acid they have given us,&rdquo; the man said after eating at the Laforestta Cafe in Gurugram.
&ldquo;I showed the packet of mouth freshener to a doctor, who said it was dry ice. According to the doctor, it is an acid which can lead to death,&rdquo; his police complaint said, as per NDTV.
Out of the five people hospitalised after the incident, two are said to be in critical condition.
Dry ice is a cryogenic material and can be fatal if not handled properly. As per the US CDC, it can cause severe frostbite upon contact with skin for more than a few seconds. It also releases a large amount of carbon dioxide when it sublimates.&nbsp;

Gurugram and Faridabad administrations have banned the plying of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles amid deteriorating air quality in the regions.&nbsp;
The Transport Commissioner has sent a letter to the district administrations of both Gurugram and Faridabad after the Centre for Air Quality Management implemented GRAP 3 in Delhi-NCR, The Trubine reported.&nbsp;
As per the orders, owners will be penalised as per law, and a hefty fine will be imposed if any vehicles of these models are found plying on the road if any vehicle of these models is found plying on the roa.&nbsp;

Police spokesperson Subhash Boken said that out 44 criminals, carrying rewards, arrested this year, three were carrying a bounty of Rs 1 lakh. They were Vikas alias Vicky, Sandeep alias Bandar and Karan alias Ali.
Four criminals carried rewards of Rs 50,000, including Yogender alias Rinku, Rohit, Dayaram and Manna Singh. "The Gurugram Police have recovered a huge amount of Rs 3.69 crore, including Rs 24 lakh from dacoity gangs, Rs 25.45 lakh from robber gangs, Rs 53.32 lakh from the gangs of house-breakers, Rs 75.18 lakh from the gangs of thieves, Rs 1.80 crore from vehicle lifters, Rs 14.79 lakh from snatchers, Rs 32.20 lakh from ATM fraudsters and Rs 3.69 crore from extortionists," said Boken.
