The&nbsp;UAE's National Center of Meteorology&nbsp;recently published&nbsp;a series of videos on Instagram of heavy rain in parts of the country. Water gushed past trees, and&nbsp;cars drove on rain-soaked roads. The videos were accompanied by radar images of clouds tagged "#cloudseeding."
The cloud seeding method employed in Dubai relies on drone technology. The drones release an electrical charge into clouds, prompting them to coalesce and create rain.&nbsp;
Its cloud seeding operations are part of an ongoing mission to generate precipitation in the Middle East country, which has an average rainfall of just four inches.

No, these visuals are not from a regular monsoon day in India's Kerala&nbsp;or Mumbai&nbsp;but from hot and sweltering desert city of Dubai which generally receives an average rainfall of just 4 inches in a year.&nbsp;
Temperatures have been touching 50 degrees C in parts of Dubai and with no sign of help from Nature to deliver them from the heat, the weather department of UAE&nbsp;decided to take the matter into their own hands and created fake rain.&nbsp;Drones were sent into the clouds to release electric charges which then led to precipitation.&nbsp;
The result - heavy rains, trees swaying in the wind and cars driving on rain-soaked roads. Perfect for a Bollywood&nbsp;rain scene.&nbsp;
