A terrifying incident was caught on cam where a tourist helicopter spiralled out of control and passengers were seen panicking.

The terrifying moments of a family aboard a Bell 206 helicopter that crashed in Medell&iacute;n, Colombia, were captured on camera. The video taken by one of the passengers showed their sheer terrified moments, just seconds after the lift-off.
According to reports, the chopper was only meant to be in the air for 12 minutes as part of their fine dining experience.
The chopper started to spin in the air uncontrollably just seconds after lift-of before eventually crashing into the side of a building, which was just a few metres away.
It then plummeted down the side of the building before being caught up on a large communications antenna and left hanging almost upside down in the sky, the Sun news outlet reported.
The video that is doing rounds on the internet shows people panicking and video-calling their families. All six people onboard the helicopter survived the ordeal. No injuries were reported.&nbsp;
The chopper service was part of a dining experience offered by Hangar, an aviation-themed restaurant located in Medell&iacute;n.&nbsp;

Initially, Mr. Bartoszek had intended to award a substantial sum of money to a single winner through a contest.&nbsp;
Mr Bartoszek, better known by his pseudonym Kazma, had initially set out to gift a huge sum of money to just one winner under a contest. Participants were required to crack a code embedded in Kazma's movie 'Onemanshow: The Movie' to locate the money. However, no one was able to solve the riddle.
The influencer changed his plan. Instead of one winner, he decided to share the money with everyone who joined. On a Sunday morning, he sent an email with a secret message about where he'd drop the money. True to his word, he showed up with a helicopter at the promised place and time and showed dollars people from the sky.&nbsp;
As money rained from the sky, thousands of people who had gathered in the field, collected all the banknotes in less than an hour in plastic bags.
Kazma shared the video on his official Instagram account and captioned it as, ''The first real MONEY RAIN in the world! $1.000.000 dropped from a helicopter in the Czech Republic and no one has died or got injured. ''

In a significant milestone for the Navy, MH60R helicopter has undertaken maiden landings on the indigenously designed and constructed destroyer, INS Kolkata, officials said on Friday.
This achievement provides a major boost to the Navy's Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) capability, they said.
MH60R helicopter is a versatile platform known for its exceptional ASW, surveillance, anti-shipping, and search and rescue capabilities, a senior Navy official said.
Its integration with Indian Navy warships would further strengthen the Navy's capability to counter underwater threats, monitor maritime activities and conduct surveillance operations, the officials said.&nbsp;

The flight encountered &ldquo;inconducive weather&rdquo; and was returning to Missamari when it crashed, he said.
&ldquo;The helicopter lost contact with Air Traffic Control (ATC) around 9.15 am. Five search parties of the Indian Army, SSB and ITBP were immediately launched. The wreckage of the aircraft was found near Banglajaap east village of Mandala,&rdquo; Rawat said.
&ldquo;A Court of Inquiry is ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident,&rdquo; he added.
Rohit Rajbir Singh, the superintendent of police, Special Investigation Cell (SIC), said villagers had found the crashed chopper ablaze in Dirang, and informed district officials.
"Villagers from Bangjalep at Dirang located the chopper around 12.30 pm," Singh said.
The area has no mobile connectivity and the weather is extremely foggy with visibility as low as five meters, he said.

Technically, such vehicles are called electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, or eVTOLs. $3.6 million have reportedly been sought in the 2023 budget to buy 5 eVTOL aircraft. The US Air Force has reportedly engaged over a dozen companies for the aircraft.

Flying vehicles might end up playing an important role in conflict, especially in light of the Russia-Ukraine war. eVTOL aircraft might help the US military apply lessons from the Russia-Ukraine war. Russia is yet to control Ukrainian airspace despite having a larger air force. Ukraine is reportedly keeping its planes safe by moving them from one airbase to another.
eVTOLs would help protect overseas US airbases in a similar fashion. The flying vehicles would help in transportation from airbases which are under attack, or have been extensively damaged. eVTOLs would reportedly be cheaper, more fuel efficient, and easier to maintain than helicopters.

Another reason behind America's push to gain an advantage in the flying vehicle arena is its growing competition with China. The Pentagon has already been blamed for allowing Beijing to gain control of the commercial drone market. However, it remains to be seen whether the US Air Force's big plans can translate into reality. After all, flying car prototypes have been grabbing headlines for many years, but are yet to become commercially safe and viable.

 Major Sankalp Yadav, 29 years of age and hailing from Rajasthan's Jaipur, succumbed to his injuries at 92 Base Hospital, as per reports.&nbsp;The co-pilot is reportedly in stable condition and is admitted in the ICU.&nbsp;The cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained.

DARPA’s ALIAS technology just enabled the first ever flight of this iconic chopper…with nobody onboard.” An impressed netizens had a caveat, “Good luck with the testing! Please make sure there are strong safety features, especially on the weapons.”

“With reduced workloads pilots can focus on mission management instead of the mechanics,” Stuart Young, program manager in DARPA’s Tactical Technology Office was quoted as saying in the press release. “This unique combination of autonomy software and hardware will make flying both smarter and safer,” he added.
