<p>Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, recently made his acting debut alongside Khushi Kapoor in the Netflix original film "Nadaaniyan."</p>
<p>However, the young actors faced significant backlash from audiences and critics alike for their performances in the film.</p>
<p>Renowned filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has stepped up to defend Ibrahim and Khushi amidst the wave of criticism. Speaking with Galatta India, Bhatt expressed his confusion over the harsh trolling the film and its leads have received online.</p>
<p>"I like both Khushi and Ibrahim," he stated, emphasizing his appreciation for the young talent. "I liked Ibrahim. Whether the film itself is good or not is a different matter, but the pressure of the nepotism debate means newcomers are expected to be exceptional right out of the gate, which isn't fair."</p>
<p>Bhatt highlighted that Ibrahim is just embarking on his cinematic journey. "It's his first film. Who delivers a superb performance in their first endeavor?" he questioned, asserting that Ibrahim has a commendable screen presence and evident acting skills. "The film wasn't exactly my taste, as I'm not the target audience. It's designed for Gen Z and teenagers, but as a director, I saw potential in both Ibrahim and Khushi."</p>
<p>Addressing inevitable comparisons between Ibrahim and his father, Saif Ali Khan, Bhatt remarked, "That's bound to happen. Ibrahim has a striking resemblance to Saif, so comparisons are natural. But I believe Ibrahim is at par with Saif, perhaps even surpassing his father's debut performances. I'm confident that Ibrahim will rise to become a significant star."</p>
<p>For context, Saif Ali Khan began his Bollywood career with the film "Parampara" in 1993, directed by Yash Chopra. The film featured an impressive cast, including Sunil Dutt, Vinod Khanna, Aamir Khan, and others. "Parampara" was a debut for both Saif and actress Ramya Krishna.</p>
<p>Directed by Shauna Gautam, "Nadaaniyan" debuted on Netflix on March 7, 2025, produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment. Despite the mixed reception, the film marks an important milestone for its young stars, poised at the beginning of their careers.</p>

<p>"I met Amrita or Dingy, as the loved ones call her, when I was just 12 years old. She did a film for my father, Yash Johar, called Duniya in 1984, and I remember the energy and grace she had. But what I remember the most is the warmest Chinese dinner with her after our first meeting," Karan reminisced.</p>
<p>He also shared how he met Saif for the first time and noted how Saif's charm reminded him of Ibrahim&rsquo;s suave and charismatic personality.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Films are in their blood, their genes and their passion," Johar added, expressing his admiration for the family's contribution to the entertainment industry.</p>
<p>This marks a new chapter in Karan Johar&rsquo;s collaboration with the Khan family, one that spans four decades. He also worked with Ibrahim&rsquo;s sister, actress Sara Ali Khan, as a producer for Simmba.&nbsp;</p>

Palak was also sitting in the same car.</p>

<p>Ibrahim Ali Khan will soon make his acting debut with Dharma Productions 'Sarzameen' alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran.</p>
<p>Now, as per Pinkvilla report, Ibrahim has also signed his second film with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. The movie, tentatively titled 'Diler', will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh.</p>
<p>According to Pinkvilla, a source said, 'Ibrahim Ali Khan loved the script and immediately gave his nod. It&rsquo;s a very balanced, well-written love story that promises to take audiences on a ride filled with love and music. The conversation with Ibrahim has reached a final stage, and he will soon be signing on the dotted line. Ibrahim&rsquo;s jump from thriller to romance also showcases his versatility as an upcoming performer.'</p>
<p>The romantic drama is expected to go on floors in December 2023. The project will largely be shot in London.</p>
<p>Ibrahim will mark his debut with Dharma Productions project, which is titled 'Sarzameen'. The film will be directed by Kayoze Irani, son of actor Boman Irani.</p>
<p>Last month, Hindustan Times reported that producer Karan Johar had roped in one of his close friends, Kajol to star in the film.</p>
<p>A source told the publication, 'He is very warm, childish. He is new to the business and has yet to catch up. He has zero attitude. Unlike some other newcomers, he isn't over-smart (or doesn't carry the star kid tag). Work wise, he was good. And, of course, he reminds everyone of Saif Ali Khan. When he comes to the sets, it feels like Saif from 20 years ago has stepped in. He is so young and just a true carbon copy of his father.'</p>

<p>Musician and singer AP Dhillon&nbsp;is a current craze for his songs, 'Brown Munde' and 'Insane' and is quite popular&nbsp;with youngsters.&nbsp;Earlier in November, actors Alia&nbsp;Bhatt and Ranveer&nbsp;Singh&nbsp;were spotted at Dhillon's concert in Gurgaon.&nbsp;</p>

Clearly an injured arm didn't stop her having fun with her BFFs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
