According to Ankit's Instagram profile, he was a digital creator, interior designer, and builder. He was often seen making funny reels with wife and social media influencer Insha Ghaii. The 29-year-old was born and brought up in Delhi and studied at GD Goenka Public School in Vasant Kunj before attending GD Goenka University.
He last made a social media post on August 18, a day before his death. He shared a picture of himself in a black T-shirt and shades and wrote a cryptic note, &ldquo;The struggle you&rsquo;re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.&rdquo;
He tied the knot with Isha in January last year. They regularly shared funny reels based on marriage and living together.&nbsp;

In the viral video, Rupal was having her family lunch at a fancy dining table at their new home, where they had just shifted. In her video, she said that it was their first family lunch since moving.
However, what managed to catch the attention of internet users was that her daughter was sitting on the floor with her plate. While other members of the family were having lunch at the dining table.&nbsp;
The influencer explained this in a caption and said that her daughter was sitting on the floor because she was on her period and they strictly avoid person-to-person contact during those days of the month.&nbsp;
Rupali further said that she and her daughter follow this tradition and this decision was taken by their family ages ago. ASCI has issued revised guideline to regulate Finfluencers and influencers who endorse products that make claims on health and nutrition. The guidelines involve registration with SEBI, IRDAI's licence and proper qualification among others

ASCI has issued revised guideline to regulate Finfluencers and influencers who endorse products that make claims on health and nutrition. The guidelines involve registration with SEBI, IRDAI's licence and proper qualification among others

The Advertising Standards Council of India has tightened the ropes around Finfluencers who create content on personal finance. As per ASCI's revised guideline, the Finfluencers will now have to register with Securities and Exchanges Board of India (SEBI) before offering investment-related advice.
They are also required to offer registration number alongside name and qualifications. The guideline also mentioned that the Finfluencers must have appropriate credentials such as a licence from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), be qualified as a chartered accountant, hold a company secretaryship among others.
&ldquo;For other financial advice, influencers must possess appropriate credentials such as a licence from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), be qualified as a chartered accountant, hold a company secretaryship, among others. Moreover, they are expected to adhere to all disclosure prerequisites as stipulated by financial sector regulators from time to time,&rdquo; ASCI guideline said.

This comes after SEBI raised concerns over finfluencers spreading misleading advice regarding investments and stock trading. ASCI is also expected to release draft discussion paper on regulating finfluencers.
Along with Finfluencers, ASCI has also release a new set of guidelines for influencers who endorse products that make claims on health and nutrition. The influencers will now have to hold relevant qualifications such as medical degrees or certification in nursing, nutrition, dietetics, physiotherapy or psychology.

A piece of shocking news has come to light as a 21-year-old Chinese influencer died while attending a weight-loss boot camp in northwestern China.
According to CNN, the 21-year-old used to post videos under the name Cuihua. She was trying to lose her body weight so that she could inspire her followers.
The state media outlets in China reported that Cuihua was documenting her weight loss journey to her tens of thousands of followers on China's version of the TikTok application, Douyin.&nbsp;
The 21-year-old had been going to the boot camp where she was doing intensive workouts. Earlier, she weighed 156 kg and was trying to lose around 100 kg.&nbsp;
Notably, after the demise of the 21-year-old girl, the camp in Shaanxi gave compensation to the influencer's family.&nbsp;
After this incident came to light, the scrutiny over the influencer industry increased. Earlier, another Chinese influencer was in the news as he died after several bottles of alcohol during a live-steam as a part of social media challenge.&nbsp;

The guide aims to ensure that individuals do not mislead their audiences when endorsing products or services and that they are in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act and any associated rules or guidelines, says Consumer Affairs Ministry

The government on January 20 made it mandatory for social media influencers to disclose their &lsquo;material&rsquo; interest in endorsing products and services and violations can attract strict legal action, including a ban on endorsements.
The regulations are part of continuing efforts to curb misleading advertisements as well as protect the interests of consumers amid the expanding social influencer market which is projected to be worth around Rs 2,800 crore by 2025.
The new guidelines named &lsquo;Endorsement Know Hows &mdash; for celebrities, influencers and virtual media influencers (Avatar or computer generated character) on social media platforms&rsquo; has been issued by the Department of Consumers Affairs.
In case of violation, the penalty prescribed for misleading advertisements under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 will be applicable.
The Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) can impose a penalty of up to Rs 10 lakh on manufacturers, advertisers and endorsers. For subsequent offences, a penalty of up to Rs 50 lakh can be imposed. The authority can prohibit the endorser of a misleading ad from making any endorsement for up to 1 year and for subsequent contravention, prohibition can extend up to 3 years.

The move is seen as an attempt to curb fake reviews posted on e-commerce websites. The consumer affairs department has completed the process of developing a framework to curb forged reviews posted on these sites, sources said
In the next 15 days, the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/india-news/politics/extortion-model-bjp-targets-aap-alleges-school-scam-in-delhi-government-schools-1661764288764">government</a> is expected to introduce guidelines which will make it mandatory for influencers to declare their involvement with the products they endorse.
The 'dos and don'ts' for influencers which require social media influencers to declare their brand associations will be notified by the Department of Consumer Affairs, sources said. &nbsp;
The social media influencers will be required to put disclaimers for paid endorsements to outline their association with products.
In May, the department along with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) held a virtual meeting with stakeholders, including e-commerce entities, to discuss the magnitude of fake reviews on their platforms.
Fake reviews mislead consumers into buying online products and services.
The department had then decided it would develop these frameworks after studying the present mechanism being followed by e-commerce entities in India and best practices available globally.

Here are the three important changes in income tax rules that will come into effect from Friday, July 1, 2022:- 
1. PAN-Aadhaar Linking Fine to Increase

FM Sitharaman had introduced a new section (194R) in the Income Tax Act 1961 in the Union Budget 2022, which proposes a 10 per cent TDS on monetary benefits received by doctors and social media influencers through sales promotion (on social media) beginning July 1, 2022.

The influence of&nbsp;kidfluencers&nbsp;
The overall&nbsp;influencer industry&nbsp;is valued at about Rs. 1,200&nbsp;crore&nbsp;in India. While we don&rsquo;t know the market&nbsp;cap&nbsp;for&nbsp;child influencers, reports have pegged earnings from a single post to be as high as Rs 1-3&nbsp;lakhs for the most popular among this clan.&nbsp;In South Korea, a 6-year-old YouTuber Boram reportedly bought an&nbsp;$8 million home from her influencer income.
If that sounds like a lot, here&rsquo;s why&nbsp;tiny tots are making big bucks.&nbsp;A 2019 digital insight study said that 73 per cent&nbsp;of kids ask their parents to buy something after seeing recommendations&nbsp;from&nbsp;kid&nbsp;influencers.&nbsp;And 81 per cent of parents bought something children wanted after seeing it&nbsp;in a&nbsp;kidfluencers&rsquo; post.
And it doesn&rsquo;t take a genius to estimate that with school closures and online schooling, these numbers have and will continue to rise.
The consent and cash problem&nbsp;
But who gets to keep this money?&nbsp;While children&nbsp;are&nbsp;the face of the operation, these pages are&nbsp;generally&nbsp;run by&nbsp;their parents,&nbsp;as most&nbsp;social platforms don&rsquo;t even allow children under 13.&nbsp;There&rsquo;s an ongoing global debate on whether influencing is &lsquo;work&rsquo; and if so, can it be dubbed child labour?
Last year, France introduced a law to regulate children&rsquo;s 'influencer income.' The law mandates all income to be kept in a bank account till the kid turns 16 and also safeguards the child&rsquo;s right to be 'forgotten' if they want the content to be taken down.&nbsp;Notably, a YouTuber mom in the US was accused of inflicting abuse, starvation, and emotional manipulation by her own children for using them in her videos.

Closer home, the&nbsp;kidfluencer&nbsp;industry&nbsp;is still in its nascent stage and there doesn&rsquo;t seem to be much regulation in place to&nbsp;safeguard children from exploitation.
Parent Take: the problem with child influencers
Speaking to&nbsp;Editorji, Ruchita Dhar Shah of First Mom&rsquo;s Club highlighted the consequences of turning your child into an 'influencer.' Shah says that there may be information that parents give out (even unintentionally) that could reach online predators.&nbsp;
She explained&nbsp;that children's personalities are changing very quickly so while it may start as a fun talent you want to show off, it is incredibly hard to draw a line before it gets too much.&nbsp;
It is also dangerous to expose your child to a situation where they may calculate their self-esteem based on the number of likes and shares of their post, a problem that most&nbsp;adults&nbsp;also cannot tackle with ease.&nbsp;

Got a kid who wants to influence?&nbsp;
Just like forcing a kid to become one, it is probably not a good idea to stop your kid from becoming an influencer&nbsp;if that's what they want (and consent) to do. However, it is the duty of the caretaker to warn and prepare children for the online world before they choose to take the plunge.&nbsp;
In this case, Shah recommends asking&nbsp;children to not share their personal details like school, location or age with their online audience. It is also important to prepare the child for any negative comments or&nbsp;feedback that may&nbsp;be targeted towards them. Set limits on how much they can post or just social media and screens, in general.&nbsp;
