Former J&amp;K CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday met party leaders at her residence a day after she was released from preventive detention. She was released after being in preventive detention for more than 14 months following the abrogation of Article 370 last year. Mehbooba&nbsp;was arrested along with other leaders hours ahead of the Centre bifurcating the state into two union territories and abrogating Article 370. Initially, Mehbooba was lodged at Cheshma Shahi guest house and then shifted to another government guest house at M A Link Road in Srinagar. She was later put under house arrest.

Former J&amp;K CM and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah has said that after central govt's actions no one in Kashmir wants to be Indian and might even want the Chinese to come in. In an interview to news portal The Wire, Adbullah said that the reason for the "anti-India" mood is that people in Kashmir can no longer trust the government. He added that it was easy for Kashmiris to go with Pakistan during partition, but they "joined Gandhi's India and not Modi's India".
