'The Great Indian Kapil Show' hosted by comic-actor Kapil Sharma, will return for a second season, Netflix announced on Monday. The first season of the popular celebrity chat series will conclude on June 22, with actor Kartik Aaryan as the celebrity guest.

In its ongoing chapter, 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' featured several celebrities including Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and international singer Ed Sheeran across episodes. According to the streamer, 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' ranked among Netflix&rsquo;s top two shows in India since its launch. Comedian Kapil Sharma and actors Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan have sought a week from the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The trio was summoned by the central agency on October 6 in connection to the Mahadev betting app case.
Now, according to the News18 report, Kapil Sharma has informed ED about his shoot abroad due to which he will not be able to appear. Meanwhile, Huma and Hina have cited personal reasons.

Shraddha Kapoor was also summoned by the ED official, but she has not responded as of now. Ranbir Kapoor was also supposed to appear before the agency on October 6 but had sent a mail seeking a time of 1.5 weeks. His request has been accepted.

Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma was spotted at the Mumbai airport on July 4 as he headed to the US for &lsquo;The Kapil Sharma Tour&rsquo;.
Videos of him arriving at the airport have surfaced on social media.
In one of the videos, a fan is seen trying to click a selfie with him, and Kapil obliges him.
However, after a while, Kapil says, &lsquo;Camera tumhara chal nahi raha&hellip; (your camera is not working),&rsquo; and walks off.
A section of netizens is criticising Kapil&rsquo;s reaction to the fan&rsquo;s phone camera not working, while a few have said that he was joking.
A fan wrote, &lsquo;Toh 1 min ruk jate uska camera chalne Tak.. fans se hi ho ap Jo b ho aj (You could have just waited for a minute until his camera started, you are what you are because of your fans).&rsquo; Another person commented, &lsquo;Their comedy is not complete without making fun of someone&hellip;&rsquo;
&lsquo;The Kapil Sharma Show&rsquo; will reportedly go off air in July, after wrapping up the last two episodes of this season. &nbsp;One episode will feature Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel for &lsquo;Gadar 2&rsquo; and another will be with Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sobhita Dhulipala for &lsquo;The Night Manager 2&rsquo;.
Kapil and his team will be traveling across America for a series of live shows, the tickets for which are already said to be sold-out.
After his US tour, Kapil Sharma will be seen sharing the screen with Kareena Kapoor, Tabu. and Kriti Sanon in &lsquo;The Crew&rsquo;.

Actor-comedian Tirthanand Rao, who has worked with Kapil Sharma in &lsquo;Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe&rsquo;, attempted suicide during a live session on Facebook. In a live video, he claimed that he was in a &lsquo;live-in&rsquo; with a woman, who allegedly emotionally blackmailed him and also extorted money from him. &lsquo;I am in debt of Rs 3-4 lakh because of this woman. I have known her since October last year. She had filed a police complaint against me in Bhayandar and I didn&rsquo;t even know for what reason. Then she would also call me and say she wanted to meet,&rsquo; Tirthanand said. The actor drank insect repellent while narrating his ordeal. Seeing Tirthanand Rao&rsquo;s video, his friends immediately reached his house.
The actor was found in an unconscious state and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Tirthanand Rao attempted suicide in December 2021 too. When News18.com contacted the actor, he revealed, &lsquo;The last two years have been really tough. My financial status is in shambles and I really don&rsquo;t have any savings. I have got some work including a film called Pav Bhaji which is yet to release but they haven&rsquo;t paid me and so have the couple of web-series which I did. There have been days when I haven&rsquo;t eaten anything or just survived on one vada pav. I realised the only way out of this mess is to end up my life.&rsquo;

Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma walked the ramp with his three-year-old daughter Anayra Sharma for the first time at the Beti fashion show in Mumbai on Sunday. He held her hand as she walked along with him with confidence. A video of the same has surfaced online and it is too cute to be missed.
In the viral clip, Anayra, dressed in a black maxi dress, blew kisses at the audience as she walked the ramp, while the comedian waved at them.

Recently, it was reported that the ongoing season of &lsquo;The Kapil Sharma Show&rsquo; is likely to go off-air in the month of June. However, there has been no clarity on the same.

The Hindi language film has been directed by @nanditadas and its entire shooting has been done in #Bhubaneswar.'

On Saturday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film's opening day figures on Twitter, writing, 'Released at limited screens [409] and shows, Zwigato puts up a dull score on day 1... The buzz is positive, but it needs to translate into foot traffic over the weekend... Friday, 42 lacs. India biz (business).'
Kapil, who hosts his hit comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show, said he related to Zwigato's story because of his own experience.
"I used to be a Coca-Cola employee. When we first arrive in Mumbai, we all do odd jobs here and there. The product was transported in trucks. Back then, there were no apps. However, when Nandita ma'am approached me and told me about all the difficulties delivery guys face, I could really relate to that story," he told PTI in an interview.

Ace comedian-actor Kapil Sharma, who is busy promoting his forthcoming film, 'Zwigato' has opened up about a difficult phase in his life as he battled depression and anxiety. He called this phase a learning experience.
In an exclusive conversation with Aaj Tak, he said, 'As a public figure, crores of people know you, and you entertain them, but when you come home, you are alone. You are also not in a situation to live an everyday life where you can go out, sit on the beach and look at the see, you&nbsp;live in a two-room flat, and I cannot explain how bad the feeling is when it's dark outside by evening.'
He added, 'In that phase, I thought about committing suicide. I thought there is nobody with whom I can share what I feel. The place where I come from, mental health is not something that is discussed. I don&rsquo;t think this was the first time that I went through this phase. Maybe, during childhood, I must have felt low, but nobody would have noticed.'
'Now that I think about it, I think it was a good phase, only because life got filtered after that. If that phase didn&rsquo;t come, I would not have learned to enjoy small things in life,' he concluded.
