Hansika Motwani shared the reason behind turning her wedding into web series &lsquo;Love Shaadi Drama&rsquo;. She also added that her husband Sohael Kathuriya is her brother&rsquo;s best friend and not her business partner.

Actor Hansika Motwani, who married her longtime boyfriend Sohael Kathuriya in a dreamy affair last year, gives an exclusive glimpse of her wedding through her &lsquo;Love Shaadi Drama&rsquo;. The documented series stream on OTT platform on Disney+ Hotstar. In a recent interview, Hansika shared the reason behind the show and also revealed that her husband was her brother&rsquo;s best friend.
Speaking with indianexpress.com, Hansika said that she wanted her fans to be a part of her wedding and hence decided to document her wedding for a web series. She added that Sohael was initially uncomfortable with the idea of documenting their wedding as he is not used to cameras.
She said, &lsquo;I have perpetually grown up in front of the audience. They have seen my journey and have been part of my life since I was eight. When I decided to be a bride, I wanted them to witness it. And what better way than joining hands with Hotstar? It was just a way to invite them to my big day. The cameras were a fly on the wall. They were around us, but nothing was for the camera. But let them keep talking. It doesn&rsquo;t matter to me. It&rsquo;s really okay. I know it&rsquo;s coming from my heart and it&rsquo;s legit reality.&rsquo;
Actor further added that her husband has always been her brother, Prashant&rsquo;s best friend, and she never thought to get married to him. &lsquo;He has always been around. Along with my brother, he also became my best friend. It was all very organic for us. To be honest, I never thought I would end up with him. That the man who&rsquo;s around me so often will become the man of my life. All this while when people would say that marry your best friend, I would be like aisa nahi hota hai. But it&rsquo;s actually true. The equation becomes so different, and there&rsquo;s this amazing comfort level. It just can&rsquo;t be expressed, but I think it was just meant to be,&rsquo; <a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/hansika-motwani-addresses-trolls-for-breaking-her-husband-sohael-kathuria-s-first-marriage-1676036495386">Hansika Motwani</a> said.
She said that her brother is very fond of Sohael and he also gave her some warnings before the wedding.

Taking to social media, Hansika made the announcement through a video. In the video, she said, &lsquo;Hi, this is Hansika Motwani and something special happened in my life. I got married. You can see the wedding glow. The show&rsquo;s name is Love, Shaadi&hellip;.&rdquo; And a voice behind the camera interrupts her and adds &lsquo;Drama&rsquo;. She gets confused and asks to meet the edits of the show. She said, &lsquo;Mereko dar lag raha hai (I am getting scared).&rsquo;
Sharing the news, Hansika wrote, &lsquo;What is a shaadi without a little drama? #HotstarSpecials #HansikasLoveShaadiDrama coming soon!&rsquo; Fans took to the comment section to share how excited they are for the show.
