Manish Shah is now convicted of 115 offences of sexual assault against 28 women aged between 15 and 34.

An Indian-origin doctor in the United Kingdom has been handed two life sentences in addition to three he is already serving, according to reports.
A UK criminal court on 9 January 2023 sentenced 53-year-old Manish Shah to two life terms with a minimum of 10 years. In December 2022, Shah was found guilty of 25 sexual assaults against 4 women at his clinic in east London.
&nbsp;Shah is now convicted of 115 offences of sexual assault against 28 women aged between 15 and 34.
The trial heard that Shah used high-profile cases of celebrities to persuade female patients to undergo unnecessary intimate examinations for his sexual gratification over four years from 2009.
Sentencing at the Central Criminal Court, Judge Peter Rook said that Shah remained a "danger to women" and his behaviour caused "long-term psychological damage" to his victims, the BBC reported.
During the December trial, the court was told that Shah presented himself as a caring and considerate doctor prepared to go "above and beyond" for his patients by carrying out extra examinations.
But prosecutor Riel Karmy-Jones KC described how the doctor "manipulated and abused" women, according to the report.

He said that he knows 'Shehzada' producers for 10 years and he cannot have people who are close to him lose, so he had to drop it.
Calling Kartik Aaryan ‘extremely unprofessional’, Shah said if Kartik had walked out this would have caused ‘Shehzada’ producers a loss of Rs 40 crores. 
In April 2021, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions had released a statement informing fans that they would be recasting its upcoming much-anticipated movie 'Dostana 2' despite filming some scenes.
The Collin D’Cunha directorial previously starred Kartik Aryan, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani.
Several speculations were made around Kartik’s exist, one being that the actor didn’t want to do the film because he had a big fallout with Janhvi.
