Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui reportedly tied the knot for the second time. As per a Time Now report, the actor got married to Mehzabeen Coatwala earlier this month. The comedian reportedly had a secret wedding with only his close friends and family in attendance.
<h3>Munawar wanted to keep it low-key</h3>
A source told the publication, "Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two)."
"Only the couple's near and dear ones were present for the ceremony. It was an extremely close-knit function," added the source. Mehzabeen Coatwala is a makeup artist by profession.&nbsp;
The reports of Munawar's second marriage first surfaced after a fan page shared a post revealing that the BB17 winner married nearly two weeks ago. The new couple reportedly held their wedding reception at Mumbai's ITC Grand Maratha on Sunday, the report added. A viral picture of a wedding invitation has also been surfacing on the internet and is claimed to be Munawar's.&nbsp; However, neither Faruqui nor Mehzabeen has shared the update on their social media accounts.&nbsp;

Hours after his detainment and release in a hookah bar raid in Mumbai, Munawar Faruqui returned to Instagram to share a selfie. Looking visibly tired in the picture from the airport, the comedian and &lsquo;Bigg Boss 17&rsquo; winner disclosed he was leaving the city.
&lsquo;Tired and travelling,&rsquo; he wrote, with sleepy eyes.&nbsp;
In the picture, he was seen wearing a black T-shirt with a cap. He geo-tagged the location.&nbsp;
According to news agency ANI, Faruqui was among the 14 people detained in the raid on March 26. ANI stated, &lsquo;Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui and 13 others were detained, and a case has been registered against them in a hookah bar raid in the Fort area last night. All accused were released after questioning: Mumbai Police.&rsquo;
The raid reportedly occurred at a hookah bar in Mumbai's Bora Bazar. A police officer's statement was quoted in the Free Press Journal report, saying, &lsquo;Our team raided the hookah bar based on information suggesting tobacco use disguised as herbal. We have called in experts to determine the nature of the substances used. Faruqui is among those detained."
All individuals, including Munawar, who were detained, were reportedly booked under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act, along with IPC sections 283 (danger or obstruction in public way or line of navigation) and 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others).

He also acknowledged that while he initially wished to alter people's perceptions of him before joining &lsquo;Bigg Boss 17&rsquo;, he now realizes that he cannot change their opinions.
Munawar Faruqui said, &lsquo;Yaar fixed winner ko itna sab go through karna pade toh it can&rsquo;t be a fixed winner (If one has to go through so much scrutiny as a supposed fixed winner, then it can't truly be a fixed winner). If I would have been a fixed winner I would have got everything on a platter. Pura season gawah hai (The whole season if proof) that I&rsquo;ve got nothing on a platter, I&rsquo;ve worked hard and a lot. My answer to people, who are calling me a fixed winner is &ndash; &lsquo;Just sit and watch the entire season and you will realise that it wasn&rsquo;t fixed&rsquo;.&rsquo;

Mujhe lagta hai ye pyaar hai logon ka (I think I won because of people's love), and people who are calling me me fixed winner, I can&rsquo;t change their opinion. Maybe before going to Bigg Boss I would have wanted to change perceptions, but now I feel I can&rsquo;t change everyone.&rsquo;
Shortly after Munawar Faruqui's victory in 'Bigg Boss,' actor Abhishek Kumar, the first runner-up, became a trending topic on X (formerly Twitter). Some viewers expressed the opinion that Abhishek was more deserving of the trophy than Munawar. However, reports suggest that Munawar secured a substantial lead in votes to win the trophy.
Actor Mannara Chopra claimed the third position, while actor Ankita Lokhande finished fourth in 'Bigg Boss 17.'

His day begins post 12 pm or 1 pm.&nbsp; The star starts his day with brunch, a mixture of breakfast and lunch. He usually has dosa or keema roti. The police took Singh's preventive custody after he attempted to go to the venue where Munawar  was to perform. It said the MLA has not been arrested.
Prior to comedian's August 20 show, Singh in a video message threatened that he will set the venue on fire if Faruqui was allowed to perform. 
He said if anything goes wrong KTR government will have to be blamed.
In a video message, Singh asked the police to cancel the show saying peace and harmony should not be disturbed. "If police don't pay heed, should we sit idle," he added. 
Earlier, Singh had protested Faruqi's show in Hyderabad alleging that he insults Hindu Gods.  The comedian's January 9 show was called-off in the city likely reportedly after saffron party's opposition. Though his team had cited rising COVID cases for the cancellation

A few days later, stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, a vocal critic of the government, also said his shows, scheduled to be held in Bengaluru, were cancelled after the organisers received threats.
