Pakistan to stay on FATF's grey list for terror financing

The&nbsp;Financial Action Task Force or the&nbsp;FATF, the world&rsquo;s top anti-terrorism monitoring group, on Friday voted to keep Pakistan on a grey list for the Imran Khan government&rsquo;s&nbsp;failure to fully comply&nbsp;with a 27-point action plan handed to it earlier.
The FATF&nbsp;said that not only have more than 4,000 terrorists gone missing&nbsp;from Pakistani government's records but the country has also taken in India's most wanted terrorists,&nbsp;Masood Azhar and Hafiz Saeed.
The latest decision comes as a huge setback for Imran Khan who had made efforts in the run-up to the virtual meeting of the FATF plenary to get his country off-the-hook. It could also mean that Pakistan will remain on the grey list for a minimum of six months till its performance can be reviewed.

The Court was hearing a contempt petition against former Uttrakhand&nbsp;chief ministers for non-payment of dues during their respective tenures. Earlier in May last year, the court had ordered four former CMs&nbsp;including Koshiyari&nbsp;to pay 2.8 crore&nbsp;rupees to the state government within 6 months for the buildings they occupied. While&nbsp;Koshiyari's&nbsp;counsel BS Upadhyay&nbsp;confirmed that they will respond within four weeks, Ramesh&nbsp;Pokhriyal&nbsp;Nishank, Vijay&nbsp;Bahuguna,&nbsp;and Bhuvan&nbsp;Chand&nbsp;Khaduri&nbsp;have also not cleared their dues.&nbsp;

Mumbai Police have booked&nbsp;Mithun Chakraborty's son&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;and the veteran actor&rsquo;s wife Yogita Bali on a complaint of rape and cheating filed by a woman.&nbsp;The case was registered at&nbsp;Oshiwara&nbsp;police station based on the complaint lodged by the 38-year- old woman.&nbsp;The complainant said she was in a relationship with&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;from 2015 to 2018 and during that period he had promised to marry her.&nbsp;The woman said she had gone to see&nbsp;Mahaakshay's flat and&nbsp;the accused offered her a spiked soft drink and forced her to have physical relations.&nbsp;The woman alleged that when she became pregnant,&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;asked her to abort the baby and gave her pills.&nbsp;The woman claimed that Mithun&rsquo;s wife had threatened her when after&nbsp;Mahaakshay&nbsp;refused to marry her.&nbsp;

Days after the maker of&nbsp;'Laxmmi&nbsp;Bomb' dropped the trailer of the film, some trolls are now calling for a boycott of&nbsp;Akshay&nbsp;Kumar's&nbsp;starrer&nbsp;for hurting religious sentiments.&nbsp;
Miffed with the film's title, a Twitter user alleged that title 'Laxmmi&nbsp;Bomb' is derogatory as it insults Goddess Lakshmi.
While another user feelt that the film has been a stereotypical representation of the transgender community.
If that wasn't enough a user even accused the film of promoting love jihad as Akshay's&nbsp;name in the film is reportedly Asif&nbsp;while Kiara's name is Priya.

Government authorities have ordered an inquiry after several MNREGA&nbsp;cards were discovered in MP's&nbsp;Khargone&nbsp;district with images of Bollywood&nbsp;actors, Deepika&nbsp;Padukone,&nbsp;and Dia&nbsp;Mirza. The issue was brought to light by RTI&nbsp;activist Sandeep&nbsp;Madahar&nbsp;who claimed that it was not a clerical or technical issue and suspects that it is a well-planned scam to siphon off lakhs&nbsp;of public money. While at least a dozen job cards feature the images of the female actors, the cardholders are mostly men who belong to the PiparKheda&nbsp;Naka village. Madahar&nbsp;also revealed that in his scrutiny he found out that although the cards displayed on the MNREGA&nbsp;website had renewed serial numbers, the cardholders either did not get their cards renewed or did not&nbsp;have the card at all.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

The issue was brought to light by RTI&nbsp;activist Sandeep&nbsp;Madahar&nbsp;who suspects that it is a well-planned scam to siphon off public money.&nbsp;The names and addresses are real on about a dozen of job cards but the photographs are of the two actors instead of the actual beneficiaries.&nbsp;Madahar&nbsp;revealed upon visiting the village he&nbsp;found that the people were hardly aware of renewal of their cards and that the serial numbers on the new cards didn&rsquo;t match with that of their old cards. None of them had even applied for the renewal.&nbsp;
