The first official meeting of the 'One Nation One Election' committee which was formed to examine the policy, is set to take place on September 23, India Today reported on Saturday.
Interestingly, the first meeting follows the conclusion of the five-day Special Session of the Parliament which is scheduled from September 18- September 22. While the government has released the agenda for both houses of the Parliament to be addressed during the special session, the opposition has expressed apprehension that the government may have undisclosed plans.&nbsp;

Days after calling a special Parliament session from Sept 18-22, the government on Sept 2 issued notification on 'One Nation, One Election'.&nbsp;
According to the notification, the government has formed an 8-member committee to examine &lsquo;One nation, One election&rsquo;.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind has been &nbsp;appointed as Chairman of the committee.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Former Rajya Sabha LoP Ghulam Nabi Azad, and others have been appointed as the members of the committee.&nbsp;
