- Visit www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and click the link on the left pane, &lsquo;Link Aadhaar and enter the following details:&nbsp;
1. PAN
2.&nbsp;Aadhaar number
- Name as exactly specified on the Aadhaar card without any spelling mistakes.
- After entering the details click on &lsquo;Link Aadhaar&rsquo;.
- Post verification from UIDAI the linking will be confirmed.

The&nbsp;Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has entered into an MoU with online food delivery platform&nbsp;Swiggy,&nbsp;to onboard street food vendors on its e-commerce platform, giving them access to thousands of untapped consumers. The initiative is a part of Prime Minister Street Vendor&rsquo;s AtmaNibhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme.
To start off,&nbsp;MoHUA&nbsp;and&nbsp;Swiggy&nbsp;will run a pilot program by on-boarding 250 vendors across five cities namely &ndash; Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Indore, and Varanasi. The vendors will get help for PAN and FSSAI&nbsp;registration as well as other training needed for using the platform.&nbsp;

In a move to help the nation&rsquo;s street vendors, the Modi government has signed a memorandum of understanding with food delivery platform&nbsp;Swiggy.
The&nbsp;agreement signed between the&nbsp;Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs&nbsp;and&nbsp;Swiggy&nbsp;will ensure presence of&nbsp;street food vendors on&nbsp;the&nbsp;e-commerce platform, giving them access to thousands of untapped consumers.
The initiative is a part of Prime Minister Street Vendor&rsquo;s&nbsp;AtmaNibhar&nbsp;Nidhi&nbsp;Scheme.&nbsp;To&nbsp;begin,&nbsp;the government and the food delivery platform&nbsp;will run a pilot program&nbsp;by including&nbsp;250 vendors&nbsp;in&nbsp;Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Indore, and Varanasi.

5% tax to be levied on foreign remittances from Oct 1

Any amount sent abroad to buy foreign tour packages&nbsp;will attract a 5% tax-collected-at source or&nbsp;TCS&nbsp;beginning October 1, unless tax is already deducted at source (TDS) on that amount. For other foreign remittances, the tax will kick in only for the amount spent above&nbsp;₹7 lakh.
It will be 10% in case PAN or Aadhaar is not provided.&nbsp;The TCS will not be applicable if all arrangements of a foreign tour are made by oneself.
However, in case of education-related foreign remittances funded by loans, a TCS of 0.5% will be levied for an amount above ₹7 lakh.
