The Union Home Ministry said the ceremony will be held at the central hall of Parliament&nbsp; on Monday where Chief Justice of India N V Ramana will administer the oath of the office of the President to her.
The President will then deliver an address.
Before the ceremony, the outgoing President and the President-elect will arrive in Parliament in a ceremonial procession.
Vice-President and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Members of the Council of Ministers, Governors, Chief Ministers, heads of diplomatic missions, Members of Parliament and principal civil and military officers of the government will attend the ceremony.
On the conclusion of the ceremony in the central hall of the Parliament, the President will leave for Rashtrapati Bhavan where an inter-services guard of honour will be given to her in the forecourt and courtesies will be extended to the outgoing President.

Droupadi Murmu, a tribal leader from Odisha, was named the Bharatiya Janata Party led-National Democratic Alliance&rsquo;s (NDA) candidate for the 16th presidential polls scheduled to be held on July 18 consequent to the expiry of the term of current President Ram Nath Kovind.
With the NDA commanding 49% votes in the electoral college for the election, 64-year-old Murmu is set for a comfortable victory.
The woman of many firsts
If elected, Murmu, the former governor of Jharkhand, will be the first tribal woman to be the President of India, and the second woman to occupy the top constitutional post after Pratibha Patil. She was Jharkhand's first female governor and the first Odia woman and tribal leader to be named governor of an Indian state and serve a full term.
Early life
Born on June 20, 1958 in Baidaposi village of Odisha&rsquo;s Mayurbhanj district, Murmu belongs to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and hails from the Santhal community, one of the most dominant ethnic groups.
Foray into politics
With a Bachelor of Arts degree, Murmu started as a teacher before entering politics in 1997 as the councillor of Rairangpur Nagar Panchayat. The same year, she was declared Vice President of BJP&rsquo;s Scheduled Tribes (ST) Morcha. After being elected as a legislator on a BJP ticket from the Rairangpur constituency in 2000 and 2009, she served as a minister in Commerce and Transport and subsequently Fisheries and Animal Resources department between 2000 and 2004 during the BJD-BJP coalition government in Odisha.&nbsp;
In 2015, Murmu was sworn in as the Governor of Jharkhand.&nbsp;
In 2017, Murmu was seen as a contender for the president&rsquo;s post, when then-President Pranab Mukherjee was set to leave Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Political significance of her possible election
Her win, which looks highly likely, will boost BJP&rsquo;s tribal push in the upcoming assembly elections in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. The four states have 128 seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes, of which the BJP had won just 35 in the last assembly elections.
Political significance aside, what her election as President would mean for people hailing from tribal communities and how or if she will project their concerns, only time will tell. Precedents warrant caution from prejudging.

Yashwant Sinha&rsquo;s political career has come full circle, from being a fierce critic of the Congress party and the Left while being in the BJP for over two decades to being a presidential candidate with the support of those very parties.

Yashwant Sinha, the bureaucrat-turned-politician, has been named as the joint Opposition candidate for the President's post that goes to the polls on July 18.
While Sinha's candidature may have united the Opposition, the balance is tilting towards National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) Droupadi Murmu, especially in the backdrop of the recent political developments in Maharashtra.
The Opposition seems to bank on Sinha's 'veteranism' as an asset against the NDA nominee as it attempts to mount an ideological contest against the BJP.
Early life
Born in Patna on November 6, 1937, Sinha was the ninth of 11 siblings. At the age of 23, he joined the Bihar cadre of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). During his 24-year-long stint in Administrative Services, he held multiple posts in the Finance and Commerce Departments. He was First Secretary (Commercial) in the Indian Embassy in Bonn, Germany in the early 1970s.&nbsp;
Political journey
In 1984, Sinha quit his service and joined active politics as a Janata Party member. Two years later, he was appointed the party's all-India general secretary and was elected to the Rajya Sabha in 1988. In 1989, Sinha co-founded the Janata Dal and took charge as the party&rsquo;s general secretary. He later joined the BJP and held important portfolios in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government but finance was known to be his forte.&nbsp;
In 2015, the senior politician received Officier de la Legion d'Honneur, the French government's highest civilian award.
An ardent critic of Narendra Modi and his government's policies, Sinha quit the BJP on April 21, 2018.&nbsp;
In 2021, he joined the Trinamool Congress as its vice president and quit last month to contest the presidential election.
Legacy as FM
Sinha was known as the &lsquo;rollback finance minister&rsquo; for rolling back fuel price hikes. His 1998-99 Union Budget was the first to have been presented in the morning, breaking the colonial-era tradition of presenting Union Budgets in the evenings. He is also credited with expanding the highway network across the country and undertaking the Golden Quadrilateral project - the largest highway project in India and the fifth-longest in the world. He made this possible by increasing the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) funds through a petroleum cess. He also de-regularised the petroleum industry.
No love lost between Sinha &amp; BJP
In 2018, Sinha quit the saffron party alleging that the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre was undermining democratic institutions and declared that he would be severing all ties with the BJP and announced his retirement from active politics.
Since then Sinha has been a vocal critic of the Modi government and its policies such as the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in the years to follow, &nbsp;Sinha launched a 3,000 km Gandhi Peace March demanding the withdrawal of the CAA. Along with fellow BJP critics &ndash; former Union minister Arun Shourie and Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan &ndash; Sinha filed a joint petition in the Supreme Court seeking a review of its clean chit to the Modi government in the Rafale case. The apex court, however, dismissed all the review petitions.

These include 3.08 lakh votes of the MPs of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies. The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has around 32,000 votes in the electorate, which is around 2.9 per cent of the total votes.
The ruling party in Odisha has 114 MLAs in the 147-member state Assembly, while the BJP has 22 lawmakers. The BJD has 12 MPs in the Lok Sabha and nine in the Rajya Sabha.
Murmu has also received the support of the AIADMK (17,200 votes), the YSRCP (with around 44,000 votes), the Telugu Desam Party (around 6,500 votes), the Shiv Sena (25,000 votes) and the Janata Dal (Secular) (around 5,600 votes).
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) strength in the Upper House of Parliament is 92 after the results of the just-concluded Rajya Sabha elections. It has a total of 301 MPs of its own in the Lok Sabha.
The saffron party's empathic win in four state Assembly polls, including in Uttar Pradesh, where the value of the vote of each MLA is more than their counterparts in any other state, has only added to its overall advantage.
Though the BJP and its allies in the NDA have fewer MLAs than they had during the 2017 presidential poll, their numbers of MPs have gone up since.
The saffron party had sprung a surprise by picking tribal leader Murmu to succeed Ram Nath Kovind, a leader from the Dalit community, for the president's post.
After being elected, Murmu will be the first president who was born post-independence.
According to the latest official figures, the BJP on its own has 393 MPs, excluding four nominated Rajya Sabha members who cannot vote, of the current strength of 776 members in both houses of Parliament, giving it a clear majority.
The BJP's numerical advantage in Parliament, which has almost half of the votes in the electoral college that also comprises all the MLAs, is further enhanced when the strength of its allies like the Janata Dal (United), which has 21 MPs, the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, the Apna Dal and several from the northeastern states is added.
While there are 776 MPs in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, each having 700 votes, there are as many as 4,033 legislators in the states with a different vote value who will also elect Kovind's successor.
Though the final list of electors will be notified after the bypolls to three Lok Sabha seats and the Rajya Sabha elections to 16 seats, the NDA has 440 MPs in its favour, while the opposition UPA has around 180 MPs, besides 36 MPs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) who are expected to support the opposition candidate.
Among the states, the BJP has a maximum of 56,784 votes from Uttar Pradesh, where it has 273 MLAs. Each MLA in Uttar Pradesh has 208 votes. The NDA will get its second-highest number of votes among the states from Bihar, where with 127 MLAs, it will get 21,971 votes as each legislator has 173 votes, followed by 18,375 votes from Maharashtra where it has 105 MLAs and each of them has 175 votes.
With 131 MLAs, the NDA will get 17,161 votes from Madhya Pradesh, 16,464 votes of its 112 MLAs from Gujarat and 15,982 votes of its 122 legislators in Karnataka.
The United Progressive Alliance (UPA), on the other hand, has a little over 1.5 lakh votes of its MPs and will get around the same number of votes from its legislators from the states.
The value of the vote of a Member of Parliament has gone down to 700 from 708 in the presidential poll this time due to the absence of a legislative assembly in Jammu and Kashmir.
The value of the vote of an MP in a presidential election is based on the number of elected members in the legislative assemblies of the states and Union territories, including Delhi, Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir.
The election will be held on July 18 and the results will be announced on July 21.

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) nominee now has over 6.67 lakh votes after the support of various regional outfits, out of a total of 10,86,431 votes.
These include 3.08 lakh votes of the MPs of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies. The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has around 32,000 votes in the electorate, which is around 2.9 per cent of the total votes.
The ruling party in Odisha has 114 MLAs in the 147-member state Assembly, while the BJP has 22 lawmakers. The BJD has 12 MPs in the Lok Sabha and nine in the Rajya Sabha.
Murmu has also received the support of the AIADMK (17,200 votes), the YSRCP (with around 44,000 votes), the Telugu Desam Party (around 6,500 votes), the Shiv Sena (25,000 votes) and the Janata Dal (Secular) (around 5,600 votes).
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) strength in the Upper House of Parliament is 92 after the results of the just-concluded Rajya Sabha elections. It has a total of 301 MPs of its own in the Lok Sabha.
The saffron party's empathic win in four state Assembly polls, including in Uttar Pradesh, where the value of the vote of each MLA is more than their counterparts in any other state, has only added to its overall advantage.
Though the BJP and its allies in the NDA have fewer MLAs than they had during the 2017 presidential poll, their numbers of MPs have gone up since.
The saffron party had sprung a surprise by picking tribal leader Murmu to succeed Ram Nath Kovind, a leader from the Dalit community, for the president's post.
After being elected, Murmu will be the first president who was born post-independence.
According to the latest official figures, the BJP on its own has 393 MPs, excluding four nominated Rajya Sabha members who cannot vote, of the current strength of 776 members in both houses of Parliament, giving it a clear majority.
The BJP's numerical advantage in Parliament, which has almost half of the votes in the electoral college that also comprises all the MLAs, is further enhanced when the strength of its allies like the Janata Dal (United), which has 21 MPs, the Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party, the Apna Dal and several from the northeastern states is added.
While there are 776 MPs in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, each having 700 votes, there are as many as 4,033 legislators in the states with a different vote value who will also elect Kovind's successor.
Though the final list of electors will be notified after the bypolls to three Lok Sabha seats and the Rajya Sabha elections to 16 seats, the NDA has 440 MPs in its favour, while the opposition UPA has around 180 MPs, besides 36 MPs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) who are expected to support the opposition candidate.
Among the states, the BJP has a maximum of 56,784 votes from Uttar Pradesh, where it has 273 MLAs. Each MLA in Uttar Pradesh has 208 votes. The NDA will get its second-highest number of votes among the states from Bihar, where with 127 MLAs, it will get 21,971 votes as each legislator has 173 votes, followed by 18,375 votes from Maharashtra where it has 105 MLAs and each of them has 175 votes.
With 131 MLAs, the NDA will get 17,161 votes from Madhya Pradesh, 16,464 votes of its 112 MLAs from Gujarat and 15,982 votes of its 122 legislators in Karnataka.
The United Progressive Alliance (UPA), on the other hand, has a little over 1.5 lakh votes of its MPs and will get around the same number of votes from its legislators from the states.
The value of the vote of a Member of Parliament has gone down to 700 from 708 in the presidential poll this time due to the absence of a legislative assembly in Jammu and Kashmir.
The value of the vote of an MP in a presidential election is based on the number of elected members in the legislative assemblies of the states and Union territories, including Delhi, Puducherry and Jammu and Kashmir.
The election will be held on July 18 and the results will be announced on July 21.

Going by its strength in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, as well as in many state assemblies, the BJP is in a comfortable position to ensure the victory of the candidate nominated by it in the upcoming election.
The nominations can be filed after the issue of notification on June 15 and can be filed till June 29, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said at a press conference.
Kovind's term ends on July 24 and an election for the next president has to be held before that day.
Kumar said the Election Commission is fully geared to conduct the election in a free and fair way, while all Covid-related safety protocol would be followed during the voting and counting of votes.
He further said that no political party will be allowed to issue any kind of whip.
Scrutiny of nominations will take place on June 30 and the last date for withdrawal of nominations will be July 2.
If necessary, the voting will take place on July 18 and counting of votes on July 21.
Kumar said the total number of electors for the election will be 4,809 - 776 MPs and 4,033 MLAs.

The president is elected by the members of the electoral college consisting of elected members of both houses of Parliament, and elected members of the legislative assemblies of all states including the National Capital Territory of Delhi and the Union Territory of Puducherry.
The nominated members of either Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha or legislative assemblies of the states are not eligible to be included in the electoral college and therefore, they are not entitled to participate in the election.
Similarly, members of the legislative councils are also not electors for the presidential election.
In 2017, the presidential polls were held on July 17 and the counting took place on July 20. Kovind defeated former Lok Sabha speaker and opposition candidate Meira Kumar by nearly 3,34,730 value votes in the polls.
