With the official coronation of King Charles III drawing closer, there is rising speculation about how estranged family members Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be treated at the event, if they attend.
Harry and Meghan will be "given the cold shoulder" by several members of the royal family, and many relatives "want nothing more to do with them", according to sources quoted by the Daily Mail.

&lsquo;I can confirm The Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty&rsquo;s office regarding the coronation. An immediate decision on whether The Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time,&rsquo; the spokesperson said.
The coronation ceremony will take place on May 6, which coincidentally also marks Prince Harry's son Archie&rsquo;s 4th birthday.
Earlier, it was reported that King Charles III has asked Harry and Meghan to vacate Windsor's Frogmore Cottage by the early summer. The UK residence was gifted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II after their wedding in 2018.
The decision was supposedly taken by the Royal Family after the release of Harry's tell-all memoir, &lsquo;Spare&rsquo;.

Helmand provincial Governor&rsquo;s Media director, Mawlavi Mohammad Qasim believes Harry&rsquo;s statement exposes the real face of Western intervention.
&ldquo;We were aware of their actions, but they had never accepted it by themselves. Now that they have accepted it, it is a clear indication of their cruel and horrific actions,&rdquo; said Qasim.
Harry spent a decade in the British Army, serving twice in Afghanistan.
He says that on his second tour, as an Apache helicopter co-pilot and gunner in 2012-2013, he killed 25 Taliban militants.

Because their narrative has been attached to race to the extent it has &ndash; you could have those at the extreme end of the taking knee variety having a go at members of the Royal family,&rsquo; Dai Davies said.
&lsquo;I really think it could create a small minority who might. I think it&rsquo;s a credible threat and I think it should be taken very seriously, especially now the documentary has come out,&rsquo; Dai Davies added.

Netflix's release of roughly a minute of footage of &ldquo;Harry &amp; Meghan&rdquo; comes as their relatives &mdash; the Prince and Princess of Wales &mdash; embark on a US trip meant to promote the future king's Earthshot prize. The trip to Boston, which is William and Kate's first one since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, had already been clouded by tensions with Harry and Meghan, who quit their royal duties in 2020 and moved to California.
The footage includes photos and brief interview snippets of Harry and Meghan.
&ldquo;No one sees what's happening behind closed doors,&rdquo; the Duke of Sussex says as a photo of Meghan crying while holding a cellphone is shown. There's the sound of glass breaking and an image of William and Kate appears.
&ldquo;When the stakes are this high, doesn't it make more sense to hear the story from us,&rdquo; Meghan says as the trailer ends.

Netflix is billing the six-part series as &ldquo;an unprecedented and in-depth&rdquo; look at &ldquo;one of the most-discussed couples in history.&rdquo; It is directed by Liz Garbus, the Emmy winning producer of the Netflix documentary, &ldquo;What Happened, Miss Simone?&rdquo; In 2020, Prince Harry and his wife signed a multiyear deal to produce nature series, documentaries and children's programming for the streaming service.

The six had "become aware of compelling and highly distressing evidence that they have been the victims of abhorrent criminal activity and gross breaches of privacy" by Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), a statement by law firm Hamlins acting for the group said.
ANL, also the publisher of The Mail On Sunday and MailOnline, said on Thursday it "utterly and unambiguously" rejected the allegations.
Lawrence, whose son was killed in a racially-motivated attack in south London in 1993, had also lodged a claim against Rupert Murdoch-owned News Group Newspapers, publisher of various titles including The Sun and the now-defunct News Of The World.
The details of that claim are not known, but it is understood also to relate to misuse of private information.
The statement about the legal action against ANL released by Hamlins claimed that the unlawful acts alleged to have taken place included the hiring of private investigators to secretly place listening devices inside cars and homes and the recording of private phone conversations.
It also alleged that payments were made to police "with corrupt links to private investigators" for sensitive information, that medical information was "obtained by deception" and that bank accounts and financial information was accessed "through illicit means and manipulation".
Hamlins is representing Harry and Frost, while the other claimants are represented by law firm Gunnercooke.
There have been a number of damages claims over unlawful activity at newspapers in the wake of Britain's phone-hacking scandal.
That resulted in the closure of the Murdoch-owned News of the World.
While most of those claims have now been settled, this is the first claim to be brought against ANL.
News Group Newspapers (NGN) settled claims relating to the News Of The World, while never admitting any liability over claims made in relation to The Sun.
Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) has settled claims relating to its titles, including The People and The Sunday Mirror.
Both publishers are currently facing further claims, and have recently made attempts to bring the long-running litigation to an end.
A spokesman for Associated Newspapers said it "utterly and unambiguously" refuted "these preposterous smears which appear to be nothing more than a pre-planned and orchestrated attempt to drag the Mail titles into the phone hacking scandal concerning articles up to 30 years old.
"These unsubstantiated and highly defamatory claims, based on no credible evidence, appear to be simply a fishing expedition by claimants and their lawyers, some of whom have already pursued cases elsewhere."

On Feb. 20, 2022, the Mail on Sunday reported that Harry sought a “far-reaching confidentiality order” to keep the details of his action against the government secret.
Despite public statements by his spin doctors that the prince had always been willing to pay for police protection, that offer wasn't made in his initial bid to overturn the government's decision, the newspaper said.
Harry claims that the Mail on Sunday libelled him when it suggested that the prince lied in his initial public statements about the suit against the government and that he “cynically” tried to confuse the public by authorising his representatives to put out “false and misleading statements” about his willingness to pay for police protection.
Nicklin ruled that “natural or ordinary meaning” of the article was defamatory. But he stressed that the decision didn't apply to other issues in the case.

"There's lots of things with security issues and everything else. So this is what I'm trying to do, trying to make it possible that I can get my kids to meet her."

The British royal revealed he always wanted to be a father and that he feels the influence of his late mother, Princess Diana, even more since he became a parent.
"It's constant. It has been over the last two years, more so than ever before. It's almost as though she's done her bit with my brother and now she's very much like helping me. We've got got him set up, now she's helping me set up. That's what it feels like, you know? He's got his kids. I've got my kids. You know, the circumstances are obviously different. But no, she I. I feel her presence in almost everything that I do now. But definitely more so in the last two years than ever before, without question. So she's watching over us."
