Rakesh Roshan posted a video clip of his workout routine at the gym. Fans were left stunned seeing the veteran filmmaker following such rigorous fitness training. Everything is set (about Krrish 4) but we are stuck on one little technicality. Hopefully, we will overcome that by year end. Krrish 4 is definitely in the pipeline and it will happen real soon.&rsquo;
The actor had also added that he is in the process of exploring his character in his upcoming film &lsquo;Fighter&rsquo;. He said that the shooting of this place took place in Assam and the experience is unforgettable.

Actor Hrithik Roshan recalled how he was cast in his debut film &lsquo;Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai&rsquo;, which was directed by his father Rakesh Roshan. He said that his father &lsquo;offered&rsquo; him the lead role in the film despite having told him that he has no interest in launching him.
Speaking with Galatta Plus, Hrithik said, &lsquo;My father told me time and time again, &lsquo;I&rsquo;m not going to make a film for you, you&rsquo;re on your own&rsquo;. So, I was doing screen tests, I did a couple of them, I was looking for work. For my photo session, I had no money. I had promised Daboo Ratnani that I will pay him once I start to earn. All of this was going on, and suddenly, I got this offer. And all I knew was that I had to satisfy my director.&rsquo;
Hrithik said he went from being just a regular guy to a star &lsquo;in a matter of hours&rsquo; and credited his upbringing and innocence as being the reason why the audience accepted him.
When asked why his father agreed to launch him despite being reluctant about it initially, Hrithik theorised and said he might have not have wanted him to work with others.

&lsquo;That, and he was making a film at that time with Shah Rukh or Aamir which fell through. And he had another thought, and while he was working on the scripting of that film with all the writers &mdash; and I was a part of this process &mdash; some weeks into it, everyone started feeling that this film needs a new boy or new girl. You have seen big stars do these roles, and even I was a part of that, that noise. Even I was like, &lsquo;Yes, papa, I don&rsquo;t want to see Shah Rukh do this&rsquo;. And, when this got very repetitive, he said, &lsquo;That&rsquo;s not what I had in mind, I&rsquo;m taking you in the film&rsquo;,&rsquo; he added.
Hrithik Roshan was last seen in the action-thriller &lsquo;Vikram Vedha&rsquo; that underperformed at the box office.

Actor Hrithik Roshan proudly shared the new promo of the upcoming episode of the musical reality show &lsquo;Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs&rsquo; that features his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, and uncle, music composer Rajesh Roshan.
Sharing the promo, the 'Vikram Vedha' actor wrote, 'Music &amp; songs have always been at the core of the Roshan household, dating back to my daduji Shri Roshan Lal Nagrath. Excited to watch my dad @rakesh_roshan9 &amp; my dear chacha @rajeshroshan24 come together on TV for the first time to celebrate the music only on #ZeeTV&rsquo;s #SRGMPLilChamps!Can&rsquo;t wait to watch this one !&rsquo;

In the video, the filmmaker says that he doesn&rsquo;t normally feature on shows, but when he saw &lsquo;Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs&rsquo; on television, he himself called asking if he could appear on the show.

Rakesh has directed several of Hrithik Roshan&rsquo;s films, including &lsquo;Kaho Na Pyaar Hai&rsquo;, &lsquo;Koi Mil Gaya&rsquo; and the &lsquo;Krrish&rsquo; franchise. The filmmaker is currently preparing for &lsquo;Krrish 4&rsquo;, which star Hrithik as the superhero.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh said that filmmakers are choosing subjects that appeal to a very minuscule section of the audience. He talked about the importance of songs in a film and opined songs are now either relegated to the background or just when the intro is played. The filmmaker said, &lsquo;Aap puraane gaano se hero ko yaad rakhte hai (You remember actors because of old songs). Whenever you listen to old classics, you remember the heroes who were featured in those songs. Nowadays, since there are no songs, toh hero yaad nahi aate hai (no one remembers the hero). As a result, becoming a superstar is very difficult at present.&rsquo;
Rakesh Roshan also talked about the success of South films such as &lsquo;Pushpa&rsquo; and &lsquo;RRR&rsquo;. He said that &lsquo;they are still sticking to rooted stories and they are presenting them in a very upgraded way, keeping in mind the commercial sensibilities.&rsquo;

&nbsp;&lsquo;If you see films like RRR and Baahubali, they have beaten-to-death stories. Baahubali is very similar to Karan Arjun. But it was presented on a bigger scale. Even the songs were larger-than-life and hence people were enticed. Aur hamare Bollywood filmmakers ko pata nahin kya ho gaya hai. They have drifted away from the roots of Indianness. They try to make so-called &lsquo;modern cinema&rsquo; but it works with only 1% of the population. It does not cater to B and C centres. So if you pick subjects that cater to the C, B and A centres and present them in a very novel way, it&rsquo;ll appeal to everyone,&rsquo; he told Bollywood Hungama.
