Veteran actor Rekha made headlines after several reports claimed that she has been in a live-in relationship with her manager Farzana.&nbsp; Now, Yasser Usman, the author of the biography 'Rekha: The Untold Story', has issued a statement on social media.&nbsp; He said the quotes alleging 'live-in relationship' ascribed to his book are a complete fabrication, faslification, and misrepresentation evidently intended to create sensarionalism.&nbsp; Usman continued that the quotes mentioned in the media articles are entirely absent from book. He said the phrases 'live-in relationship', 'hermetic existence' or 'biography claiming the relationship is sexual' have never been used.&nbsp; He also said that these incorrect quotes are result of poor clickbait journalism.&nbsp; Usman warned that if these quotes are not immediately rectified, he will not hestiate to pursue legal action against the publications responsible. Sharing the statement, he also tweeted that it is despicable how clickbait journalism has an aversion towards verifying facts and they often target women.&nbsp;

However, it is worth taking note that a picture is being circulated on the internet which claims that Rekha's outfit was originally designed for Karan Johar's historical drama Takht. But there's no confirmation regarding it.
Although, while sharing pictures of the magazine cover, Manish Malhotra has hinted that Rekha has worn an archived ensemble. The caption of the post read, "Rekha Ji and I have always shared a great passion for Indian fashion; having worked with her for so many years now, each time has been an experience in itself. Rekha Ji always teases me about how she&rsquo;s met another person who has a great eye for detail, much like herself. My person is my own, but my cinematic persona is in the eyes of the beholder. Therefore I choose where I want to be and where I don&rsquo;t want to be. I am so blessed to have earned the right to choose what I love. And to have the luxury to simply say no.'
The veteran actor was also asked 'when you love someone or something so deeply, does the love disappear?' She replied that when a relationship is established it is forever.
'Sometimes we may want more and sometimes it&rsquo;s just enough. This applies to my craft. I was born with an instinct for the perseverance of beauty. Sure, I was born to actors&hellip; but it is my insatiable quest for learning, my willingness to keep my eyes and heart open, absorbing beauty with positivity not negativity, that gives me command over my craft. For all the countless fans of the legend, here is some good news for you. The news is that Rekha is in ‘advanced talks’ with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his Netflix’s web show ‘Heeramandi’, as per a report in Bollywood Hungama. The role offered to Rekha has been reportedly tailor-made for Rekha.
Much before ‘Heeramandi’ was decided to be made into a web show, it was to be made into a feature film. If the rumors are to be believed, then, heroines like Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Tabu and Shabana Azmi had turned down the script.
In an earlier interview with Variety magazine, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had said that ‘Heeramandi’ was a huge saga about the courtesans of Lahore, and it was something he was living with for 14 years.
As per a media report, the cast of ‘‘Heeramandi’ includes actors like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditi Rao Hydari.

There is some good news for Rekha fans. The ageless diva, who has been away from the silver screen for over seven years, is reportedly all set to make her comeback. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the actor is in 'advanced talks' with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his debut Netflix web show 'Heeramandi.' A source told the publication that the role has been specially written for Rekha.
The source further added that Rekha had been keen to work with Bhansali for a longtime and the filmmaker too was desirous of tapping into 'the Rekha mystique&rsquo;.

In an interview with Variety, the filmmaker had talked about his forthcoming project and said 'it was vast and ambitious.' He added that the story is a huge saga about the courtesans of Lahore and it was something he was living with for 14 years.
'Heeramandi' will be exclusively streamed on Netflix. It's first season will comprise of a total of seven episodes of one hour each.
As per a News18 report, the cast of &lsquo;Heeramandi&rsquo; includes actors like Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditi Rao Hydari. A-list stars like Priyanka Chopra, Madhuri Dixit, Tabu, and Shabana Azmi had reportedly turned down the film.
