Deepika Padukone will be debuting in Rohit Shetty&rsquo;s cop universe as &lsquo;Lady Singham&rsquo; and the filmmaker is reportedly planning to take it forward by establishing a women-led cop universe.Speaking to News18 Showsha, Rohit Shetty has dropped hints that he has some women-oriented films in the pipeline, adding that it will happen &lsquo;very soon.&rsquo;&nbsp;
Talking about his highly anticipated film &lsquo;Singham Again&rsquo;, Shetty said that the moviegoers will witness a lot of &lsquo;hand-to-hand combat&rsquo; in the upcoming film. He said that he is &lsquo;old school&rsquo; and relies more upon real action sequences than VFX. &nbsp;&ldquo;I think now everyone is doing VFX. It is not just us but all over the world. Most importantly, it is a bit easier and safer. When you are doing hand-to-hand combat, we are trying to be as real as possible. We are old-school guys. For me, hand-to-hand combat will always be real. Even when you see my next venture, hand-to-hand combat is real and yes, there is a lot of CG as well,&rdquo; he said in the interview. &nbsp;
<h2>About &lsquo;Singham Again&rsquo; &nbsp;</h2>
'Singham Again' is the third film in the hit 'Singham' franchise, which sees Ajay Devgn in the titular role. It will see the return of Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham. On July 22, Rohit Shetty took to Instagram to announce the wrap of the film and shared a behind-the-scenes video from the sets. Initially scheduled to release on Independence Day, &lsquo;Singham Again&rsquo; will hit the theatres on Diwali this year.&nbsp;

'My team tells me every 5 years, you are grounded by such failures. Filmmaker Rohit Shetty recently talked about actor Govinda and said that he gave blockbusters for continuous 10 years, but never got his due in the industry. He said that the actor along with David Dhawan has provided the most iconic films and would have been the biggest superstar.
Rohit Shetty, whose film &lsquo;Cirkus&rsquo; is all set to release in theatres on December 23, spoke to Pinkvilla. During a segment, he was asked to guess the highest grosser of 1993, and he promptly responded, and said, &lsquo;Aankhen.&rsquo; For the unversed, the film stars Govinda with Chunky Pandey and was directed by David Dhawan.
He further talked about Govinda and said, &lsquo;For 10 years that guy (Govinda) gave blockbusters. He and David Dhawan&ndash;like Shola Aur Shabnam, Aankhen, Raja Babu, Jodi No 1, Coolie No 1, and Haseena Maan Jaayegi, that was back-to-back. I think he didn&rsquo;t get his due otherwise he would have been the biggest superstar. Ab social media hai, ek chalti hai toh sab chilate hai. Back-to-back for ten years both (Govinda and David Dhawan) had given hits.'
Govinda has featured in many Bollywood blockbusters like &lsquo;Partner&rsquo;, &lsquo;Bhagam Bhag&rsquo;, &lsquo;Bade Miyan Chote Miyan&rsquo;, &lsquo;Raja Babu&rsquo;, &lsquo;Hero No. 1&rsquo;, &lsquo;Deewana Mastana&rsquo;, and &lsquo;Dulhe Raja&rsquo;.

Actor Ranveer Singh is busy promoting his movie 'Cirkus' which is slated to release in theatres on December 23. Ahead of the film&rsquo;s release, the actor in an interview with Pinkvilla revealed that he is a big fan of Salman Khan&rsquo;s film 'Judwaa' and Govinda&rsquo;s 'Raja Babu'.
He said, 'Judwaa is another favourite film of mine alongside Raja Babu. I have seen these movies maximum number of times. And what music!'
Ranveer added, 'Varun Dhawan keeps doing these movies man, and I keep telling him, do whatever you want to do but don't do Raja Babu as I want to do it.'
Agreeing with Ranveer&rsquo;s statement, Rohit Shetty said, 'Yes, Varun is very good in comedies.'

Actor Ranveer Singh is busy promoting his forthcoming film &lsquo;Cirkus&rsquo;, directed by Rohit Shetty. The actor recently attended Malad Masti, an annual event organised in Mumbai to promote the togetherness and wellness of the local community.
A video has surfaced online in which fans are seen crowding around Ranveer as he exits the venue. &nbsp;At the event, he turned saviour for a child who was being pushed by the crowd. Ranveer picked him up and carried him to safety as the crowd cheered for him.
Fans are praising Ranveer for his sweet gesture and for being so considerate of the child&rsquo;s safety.
The official Instagram page of the event has shared several videos and pictures of Ranveer. Director Rohit Shetty was also present at the event and joined Ranveer on stage.

At the launch of Cirkus song &lsquo;Current Laga Re&rsquo;, Rohit Shetty confirmed that Deepika Padukone will play the role of a lady Singham in &lsquo;Singham 3&rsquo;.

Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's on-screen camaraderie is all set to come alive as their latest song &lsquo;Current Laga&rsquo;, from the upcoming film &lsquo;Cirkus&rsquo; is out. During the song launch event, director Rohit Shetty unveiled that Deepika Padukone will play the role of a cop in &lsquo;Singham 3&rsquo;.
While interacting with the media at the launch event, Rohit said &lsquo;Har baar ek hi sawaal pucha jaata hai ke lady singham kab aayegi. Toh 'Singham Again' mein lady Singham aayegi. She's my lady cop from the cop universe. So, hum agle saal hi saath mein kaam kar rahe hai (Everytime I'm asked why don't I make a film with a female cop so here's my lady Singham. Deepika is the lady cop of my universe, in 'Singham Again' and we're working together next year itself).&rsquo;
Deepika got emotional at the announcement and hugged Rohit. Ranveer Singh who was happy at the announcement said, &lsquo;You heard it first here!&rsquo;
Ranveer also said that the best performance by Deepika for him is Meenaamma in Rohit Shetty's &lsquo;Chennai Express&rsquo;. He added that this is a special film and he can&rsquo;t wait for Deepika and Rohit to collaborate again.
Earlier, speaking with PTI, Rohit said that the film will continue from where &lsquo;Sooryavanshi' left. He also added that it&rsquo;s a big action film, so it&rsquo;ll take him seven months to complete. &nbsp;
