Apple has launched a smaller version of the HomePod smart speakers, the HomePod mini. It features the same mesh fabric exterior along with a small display on top to show the Siri waveform and volume controls, but the new model has more of a short, spherical shape.
It gets an Apple S5 chip that allows for &ldquo;computational audio&rdquo; processing as well as U1 chips for Ultra Wideband support. The HomePod Mini features a full-range dynamic driver, two passive radiators, and an &ldquo;acoustic waveguide&rdquo; on the bottom.
Multiple HomePod mini speakers can play music in sync and create stereo pairing, while the new &lsquo;Intercom&rsquo; feature allows users to communicate throughout the house.
Apple has also promised support for third-party music services, including Amazon Music. The HomePod Mini costs ₹9,900 and will go on sale from November 16.

Apple has launched four new 5G iPhones with its latest iPhone 12 series at its highly anticipated event, with prices starting at ₹69,900 for the iPhone&nbsp;12 Mini. A new HomePod&nbsp;Mini smart speaker has also been launched, at ₹9,900.

Apple has announced four new iPhones at its digital-only event: an iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. All four models feature mmWave 5G network for the first time thanks to a new 6-core A14 Bionic chip, come with Super Retina XDR OLED displays and offer Ceramic Shield glass on the screens for better drop protection. With a minimum 64GB of storage on both, the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini gets a starting price of ₹69,900, while the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 starts at ₹79,900. Meanwhile, the&nbsp;6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max have a starting price of ₹1,19,900 and ₹1,29,900 respectively. Storage options for both these models will range from 128GB to 512GB.&nbsp;As far as availability is concerned, iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro go on sale in India from October 30, while the 12 Pro Max and 12 mini models are yet to have their release dates revealed for Indian buyers. Alongside the new iPhones, Apple has also unveiled its new HomePod mini smart speaker at ₹9,900. It's 3.3-inches tall, runs on the S5 processor from last year&rsquo;s Apple Watch Series 5, and pre-orders for the device open on 6th November, with shipping from 16th November.

The 24.2-megapixel Lumix S5 is a hybrid shooter and arrives as a more compact, more portable and more affordable option. The S5 can handle 4K/60fps footage or 4K/30fps internal recording with options for HDR and V-Log/V-Gamut capture. It offers ISO of up to 51,200 when shooting photos, with dual native ISOs of 640 and 4,000 to reduce noise as well as a 5-axis IBIS that promises up to 6.5 stops of stabilisation. The camera can shoot up to 7fps burst shots and allows users to extract 6K photos from a short 30fps video clip. It also features a 3-inch 1.84-dot variable-angle LCD touchscreen and a 2.36 million-dot OLED viewfinder with 0.74x magnification. The Panasonic Lumix S5 body-only price is $1,999 but Indian pricing and availability hasn&rsquo;t been announced yet.
