On Sunday, Union Minister Parshottam Rupala, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, and other party leaders went for Sagar Parikrama Yatra Phase-XI from Arjipalli Fishing Harbour, Ganjam district in Odisha. However, their boat got stuck in Odisha's Chilika Lake for around two hours.&nbsp;
Earlier, reports suggested that the boat might have got stuck in a net laid by fishermen, the Union minister later said that they lost their way in the blue lagoon.&nbsp;
The administration sent another vessel which rescued the Union Minister, Sambit Patra, and other local party leaders who were stranded on the boat.&nbsp;
During their ride the motorised boat got stuck in the middle of the lake for around 2 hours. The minister told reporters, "It got dark and the man steering the boat was new to the route and we lost our way. It took us two more hours to reach Satapada."

Only education minister in world involved in liquor scam: BJP after Sisodia's arrest

Similarly, the BJP believes that there is merit in the case against Sisodia, he said.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia or other AAP leaders never answered questions related to suspected corruption in the liquor policy, the BJP said on Sunday, asserting that it believes there is merit in the case against the arrested leader.
Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that Sisodia must be the only education minister in the world who is involved in liquor scam, and added the entire episode is an eye-opener and shocking.

O'Brien said he was suspended for protesting against Electoral Law bills and he hopes they meet the same fate.

A day after visiting Twitter offices in New Delhi and Gurgaon, the Delhi Police on Tuesday reportedly issued notices to two Congress party members to join the probe in connection with the 'toolkit' controversy.
The row started when several BJP leaders including party spokesperson Sambit Patra shared a host of documents allegedly created by Congress in order to "malign" PM Modi's image over the government's handling of Covid-19.

An FIR has been registered against&nbsp;BJP&rsquo;s National Vice President&nbsp;Raman Singh&nbsp;and party spokesperson Sambit Patra in Chhattisgarh for allegedly &ldquo;forging&rdquo; the letterhead of AICC Research Department and printing &ldquo;false and fabricated&rdquo; content.
They both have been summoned for further investigation. The Raipur&nbsp;Police said they have asked Sambit Patra to be present in person or via video conference. The Congress has also filed a complaint with Delhi Police seeking registration of an FIR against BJP president J P Nadda, Union Minister Smriti Irani, Sambit Patra, and BJP&rsquo;s National General Secretary B L Santhosh.
