<p>The Galaxy Watch Ultra, designed as a premium wearable, is priced at around $700. It's a solid $100 less than the Apple Watch Ultra 2, but quite a bit more than the standard Galaxy Watch, which starts at $229 for the smaller, Bluetooth-only version.</p>

The Ultra takes it further with 10ATM + IP68 water resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, and is suitable for ocean swimming. It also guarantees operation in extreme temperatures and altitudes.</p>

The 40mm Watch 7 packs a 300 mAh battery, the 44mm version has a 425 mAh cell, and the Ultra takes it up a notch with a 590 mAh battery. I heard it could last up to 100 hours on a single charge! It generates text suggestions based on your previous emails and social media posts, so it actually sounds like you. The integration with the S Pen takes it to another level. Sketching ideas and having the AI turn them into polished images is both fun and productive.</p>
<p>But let&rsquo;s not get too carried away. The Fold 6 isn't without its drawbacks. The price point is still high, making it less accessible to the average consumer. The software, while powerful, can sometimes feel a bit clunky when switching between the large and small screens.</p>

<p>The AI-powered Photo Ambient feature changes your wallpaper in real-time based on the time and weather. It&rsquo;s a small touch, but it makes the device feel personal and dynamic. FlexCam is where the Flip 6 really shines. Hands-free shooting with Auto Zoom ensures you get the perfect shot every time. It automatically detects the subject and adjusts the framing &ndash; no more awkward group photos where someone&rsquo;s left out.</p>
<h3><strong>Galaxy Z Flip 6: Performance &amp; Camera</strong></h3>
<p>Despite its compact size, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 packs a punch. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor ensures it&rsquo;s not just a pretty face &ndash; this thing performs. The new 50MP Wide lens is a significant upgrade over the previous Flip 5's 12MP main sensor. However, it's a bit disappointing that there's still no telephoto lens; instead, you get the same 12MP ultra-wide sensor.</p>

<p>These specs are quite hefty for a mid-range phone in the Rs 30,000 price bracket&nbsp;</p>
<p>However, the smartphone market is a very crowded field where big numbers don't always guarantee superior performance. So how does the latest from Samsung stack up in this fiercely competitive arena? &nbsp;Read on to find out. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The Samsung Galaxy M55 comes in a classic white-coloured retail box. Inside, you'll find the phone, some paperwork, a sim ejector tool and a USB Type C-to-C cable. &nbsp;While the phone supports 45W charging, there's no charging brick included in the box. &nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M55 Design &amp; Display </strong>&nbsp;</h3>
<p>The Galaxy M55 is well-designed, looking both modern and minimal at the same time. We received the 'Light Green' variant and it looks quite nice! &nbsp;</p>
<p>While the back is made of plastic, it is finished in matte, so it doesn't really pick up too many fingerprints. The frame is also plastic, but it curves seamlessly into the back, giving the phone a sleek look.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Like the premium S24 series, the phone features three separate camera rings arranged vertically in the top left corner, rather than a single camera island.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The phone sports a clean look, but it is getting harder to spot the difference between Samsung's mid-range phones and their flagship offerings. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The front of the Galaxy M55 gets this big and beautiful 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with slim bezels all around. It&rsquo;s a full-HD+ resolution panel that supports a 120Hz high refresh rate, making everything not only look sharp but also feel smooth as you swipe and scroll.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In true Samsung fashion, colours are rich and punchy, and using this phone for watching content is a treat. The display is also rated for up to 1,000 nits peak brightness, which isn't the highest out there, but we didn't face any issues using the phone outdoors. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Complimenting the screen is a pair of solid stereo speakers, which produce rich sound and don't distort even at high volume. &nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M55 Camera&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>The camera system has a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. &nbsp;</p>
<p>In good lighting conditions, the main sensor takes sharp and detailed photos with good colour reproduction. However, I wasn't a big fan of the 2x zoom as it produced some weird and over-processed results. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Portrait mode works decently well, although edge detection can be a bit iffy at times and it might mess up a bit around the edges of your hair. Ultrawide photos can be a little soft on the edges, especially if you zoom in. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The Night Mode is where things get interesting. Samsung calls this Nightography, and the detailing in this mode is very impressive. I&rsquo;d actually rate the photos that I clicked in the Night Mode higher than the ones I clicked in daylight. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>When it comes to shooting videos, the Galaxy M55 can record up to 4k at 30fps. In well-lit conditions, the visuals are clear and adequately vibrant, but a lot of it has to do with how good the lighting is. I also appreciate that footage comes out smooth but the ultra stabilisation mode is capped at 1080p 30 fps and the main camera can struggle to maintain exposure levels.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Upfront, there's 50MP front camera that offers an extra ultra-wide mode for your selfies. Speaking of selfies, once again, I liked the detailing and how it maintains the natural colour of the skin, balancing it with the surrounding lighting. Edge detection also seems to be of better quality in the selfie mode. &nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M55 Specifications (Hardware)</strong></h3>
<p>The Galaxy M55 features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, so it's not the latest SoC out there, but a reliable one, nevertheless. &nbsp;</p>
<p>To test the power of the chipset, we ran benchmarks on the phone, played a couple of games, and streamed some videos. In other words, we extensively put this phone through the ringer. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>I found that the phone is perfectly fine for handling day-to-day tasks, and at no point did I feel that it was struggling to keep up.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Even when playing games like BGMI, I was able to max out the settings and play comfortably for long sessions without facing any lags or dropped frame rates. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Another good thing about this phone is that it doesn't heat up too much even after about 40 minutes of gameplay, which itself is a testament to the fact, that the phone can handle challenging games adequately well.</p>
<p>There's also 12GB RAM and 256GB storage on this review unit, so switching through apps idling in the background wasn't a problem either. &nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M55 Software </strong>&nbsp; &nbsp;</h3>
<p>The M55 5G comes pre-installed with Samsung's One UI 6.1 on top of Android 14. It offers a bunch of useful Samsung apps like SmartThings, Samsung Wallet, Bixby, Galaxy Wearable and Samsung Notes. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>However, there is a bit of bloatware pre-installed, including some third-party apps that you might not want or need. This includes Snapchat, PhonePe, and DailyHunt to name a few. Thankfully, most of these apps can be uninstalled, so it's not a major dealbreaker. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Samsung also promises 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. This is just about the best software policy you can get in this price range. &nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M55 Battery and Charging</strong> &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</h3>
<p>The M55 5G packs a 5000mAh battery, which should last you a full day on a single charge with moderate use. However, the 45W charger that we mentioned, isn't included in the box, so you will need to buy that separately.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>I used a slower third-party charger, which took me a little above 2 hours to fully charge the phone from 0% to 100%. But, if you can snag one of those 45W fast chargers, you should be able to juice this phone up much quicker. &nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Samsung Galaxy M55 Price</strong></p>
<p>Before we get into the final verdict of the Galaxy M55, let's talk about its pricing. Often, that's usually the most important factor for most folks when buying a smartphone. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The base model comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is priced at Rs 26,999, while you can get the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant for Rs 29,999. The top-tier model, boasting 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, will set you back Rs 32,999. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Given these details, I think for many, the base model will be more than adequate. Yes, it has less RAM and storage, but the performance drop isn&rsquo;t significant, and all variants offer expandable storage.&nbsp;</p>
<p>But no matter which model you choose, there are some pros and cons to consider.&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M55 Review: Verdict&nbsp;</strong></h3>
<p>The standout feature is the 50MP main camera&mdash;it snaps great photos in daylight and really excels in night mode. The 120Hz AMOLED display is great for watching videos and the stereo speakers provide immersive sound. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>On the downside, the phone sports a slightly older Snapdragon processor, and it's a bit disappointing that the 45W fast charger isn't included in the box. You might also find the pre-installed software bloatware a bit of a nuisance, although most of it can be uninstalled.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Overall, the Galaxy M55 is a solid choice if you're looking for longevity. Thanks to Samsung's strong software update policy, it's a reliable phone. Plus, it handles casual gaming, photography, and streaming quite well, making it a good fit in the sub- Rs 30,000 price segment.</p>

<p>The Galaxy A73 is really well designed, and it looks modern and minimal. The colour I've got with me is the 'Awesome Mint' variant and I have to say, it's really pretty! The back is finished in matte, so it doesn't really pick up fingerprints at all, but it is made of plastic. Speaking of plastic, the frame of the A73 is not metal, even if it's been polished to make it look that way. I do like that Samsung has done this, though, because it gives the phone a striking similarity to the S22 and S22+. Weight-wise, the A73 is just a shade over 180g, making it quite lightweight despite its big size.</p>
<p>The front of the Galaxy A73 gets this big and beautiful 6.7-inch display with a full-HD+ resolution and a buttery smooth 120Hz high refresh rate. Adding to that experience is Widevine L1 certification <em>and&nbsp;</em>HDR 10 support for Netflix.</p>
<p>It's worth noting that the 120Hz refresh rate is not adaptive, and the A73's display features Gorilla Glass 5 protection.</p>
<h3><strong>Cameras</strong></h3>
<p>Samsung's phones at nearly every price-point are known for their great camera performance, and to help keep that reputation intact, Samsung fitted the A73 with a quad camera system on the back.<br />There's a 108MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 5MP sensors--one for depth and one for macro shots.</p>

<p>In well-lit, outdoor scenarios, the main sensor performed quite well, and I was somewhat surprised to see that Samsung had toned down the over-processed, saturated look that's usually seen on its A-series devices. Colours were quite well preserved, and there was good dynamic range in shots that required it. Being such a high resolution sensor, there was quite a lot of natural depth of field when shooting objects, although I noticed a tearing effect around the edges of the frame at times. Shots taken indoors with mixed lighting conditions were pretty good too, but the camera had a tendency to pick up noise in the darker areas of the frame.</p>
<p>With the ultrawide lens, there was a bit of colour shift in some images compared to the main sensor, but on the whole, the processing was pretty uniform. The field-of-view is quite wide though, so you will notice the phone doing some heavy lifting when it comes to correcting distortion in the frame.</p>
<p>The 5MP depth sensor helped with portrait images, and with good lighting, I got fairly good results. Colour accuracy was mostly on point, and edge detection for such a wide frame was also pretty decent.</p>
<p>The 5MP macro sensor, on the other hand, produced some mixed results. In some close-ups, colours were close to what they looked like in real life, but at times, there was a visible lack of accuracy and detail in the image.</p>
<p>So in terms of overall versatility, the A73 is quite sorted, but I do wish there was a dedicated telephoto lens here like we saw on the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/samsung-galaxy-a52-galaxy-a72-review-what-makes-them-awesome-1617719130317" target="_blank">Samsung&nbsp;Galaxy A72</a>.</p>
<p>When it comes to videos, the A73 shoots at a maximum of 4K 30fps, but for smoother, 60fps filming, you'll have to bump down the resolution to 1080p. It's still good to see that there's optical image stabilisation here though, and there's also an ultra-steady mode to get even more stable footage.</p>
<p>The front 32MP selfie sensor performed really quite well in decently-lit environments, with good detail reproduction and natural skin tones. The portrait mode also showed accurate edge detection and offered pleasing results. It's worth noting that videos with the front camera can be taken at the same resolution and frame rate as the back--4K at 30fps.</p>

<h3><strong>Performance &amp; Software</strong></h3>
<p>Now performance is a bit of an interesting area for the Galaxy A73, because despite being at a value flagship price point, it sports the Snapdragon 778G chipset, and while it is quite a capable performer, it's usually seen on mid-range phones. It's present on phones that are nearly half the price, in some cases, which makes it a bit of an odd choice for the A73. Still, for day-to-day tasks, performance from this chipset is great, and at no point did I feel that the phone was sluggish or struggling to keep up.</p>
<p>Even when playing graphic intensive games like Call of Duty: Mobile, I was able to max out the settings and play comfortably for long sessions without performance taking a hit or thermal throttling being an issue. There's 8GB RAM on tap, no matter what storage variant you buy, so switching through apps idling in the background wasn't a problem either.</p>
<p>Speaking of usage, the user experience on the A73 is excellent, thanks to Android 12 and One UI 4.1 on top, with all of Samsung's customisation options and extra tools. I particularly enjoyed loading up the Good Lock app for the One Handed+ feature, because of how large this phone is. In addition to this, Samsung has also promised 4 years of Android OS updates to the A73 and 5 years of security updates, making it about as future-proof you can in the Android world.</p>
<h3><strong>Battery &amp; Utility</strong></h3>
<p>Now I said earlier that the 120Hz refresh rate on the A73 is not adaptive and eats into battery life, so it's good that Samsung has fitted the phone with a 5,000mAh battery. With moderate usage patterns, I got well over a day's worth of usage, and even with heavy workloads, I wasn't able to kill it in the span of a single day.</p>
<p>Charging also seemed to be pretty well optimised, because 25W fast charging on the A73 took the phone from flat to full in around 80 minutes, which sounds like a lot, but it's also a massive battery unit. Still, it's not all good news here, because like with other A-series devices, there's no charging adaptor in the box, only a Type-C to Type-C cable. So if you want to take advantage of that faster charging, you're going to have to spend Rs. 1,299 buying the adaptor from Samsung.</p>

<p>Another important exclusion is the lack of a headphone jack this time, a blow that is somewhat cushioned by the fact that the stereo speakers are really loud and clear on the A73. There's also an in-display fingerprint scanner that worked well for me, and there's space for microSD card expansion, although it does come at the cost of a second SIM-card since the tray is a hybrid one. Still, it's better than not getting expandable storage at all. You also get an IP67 rating for the A73, which is something other phones at this price and higher tend to miss out on, so I'm glad Samsung is offering it here.</p>
<h3><strong>Price &amp; Verdict</strong></h3>
<p>At a starting price of ₹41,999, I'd be lying if I said the A73 wasn't an expensive phone--it is. And while the chipset is competent enough, it could have been more powerful at this price point. But if you're not someone that needs a super powerful processor, but does need the complete Samsung experience, many years of Android updates, a large battery and a big, beautiful screen, there's only one phone that does all that--the A73.</p>
