Today (16 May) Viacom18 Studios and Outsiders Films Productions in association with BLM Pictures announced their new film titled ‘Dhak Dhak’.  The film is a fascinating tale about four women and their life changing journey to the highest motorable pass in the world.
Speaking about the association, Ajit Andhare (COO-Viacom18 Studios) said, “Dhak Dhak’ is a heart-warming story of four women undertaking a trip breaking out of their cocoons & discovering themselves through this journey of introspection & adventure. This was the perfect script and resonates well with the DNA of our storytelling.”
The film’s producer Taapsee Pannu added, “At Outsiders Films, we aim to produce films that are meaningful and entertaining. We have attempted to give audiences a visual experience that they have rarely seen on screen. ‘Dhak Dhak’ narrates the story of four women who realize that freedom has to be owned and never given. Viacom18 Studios has been a crucial part of my journey in the film industry from ‘Chashme Baddoor’, ‘Shabaash Mithu’ and now to ‘Dhak Dhak’. In Viacom18 Studios and Ajit, we have a partner who has a great foresight towards differentiated cinema. I am sure that this ride will be an enriching one.”
The film stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Sanjana Sanghi as its protagonists. ‘Dhak Dhak’ has been co-written by Parijat Joshi and Tarun Dudeja.
The film, which is presently under production, will hit cinema screens in 2023.

On Sunday, Sushant's co-star Sanjana Sanghi took to Instagram to mark the film's two-year anniversary.  Sanjana shared a video combining the film's footage and wrote: '2 years of the magical world of Kizie & Manny today, and an eternity to go. Thank you for all your love, it has truly been insurmountable. Kizie Basu ne Khulke Jeene Ka tareeka hamesha ke liye sikha diya'. While one of her hashtags read ‘Miss you Manny’. For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput’s name in the movie was Manny.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans flocked to the comment section and remembered the actor.
The director Mukesh Chhabra also took to social media and shared some BTS moments of Sushant and wrote ‘DilBechara‎ will‎ always‎ be‎ very‎ special‎ to‎ us'.
