IFS officer shares desi version of the photo that won wildlife award

An ethereal photograph of an endangered Siberian tiger hugging an ancient Manchurian fir tree to mark it with her scent, clicked by Russian photographer Sergey Gorshkov recently bagged this year's Wildlife Photographer of the Year grand title.
Back home, IFS officer Parveen Kaswan took to Twitter to share an Indian version of the photograph, clicked by his friend Sarosh Lodhi.
It showed another tiger hugging a tree, similar to the one clicked by Gorshkov that won him the prestigious title from nearly 50,000 entries.

It took Gorshkov 11 months to capture the perfect image now dubbed 'The Embrace' using hidden cameras. The picture offered some hope for the Siberian tigers that were hunted almost to extinction in the last centuary.
The Duchess of Cambridge announced the winner for the competition at an online ceremony.&nbsp;Winners of other categories included the young Wildlife Photographer of the Year which went to Liina Heikkinen for her picture of a red fox defending the remains of a barnacle goose.
