His statement comes days after AstraZeneca, which produced Covishield, admitted in its court documents recently that the vaccine can cause rare side effects, causing people to have blood clots and a low blood platelet count.

Shreyas said that despite being careful about his health, his health scare was unfortunate. &ldquo;I gave myself a big scare. It was unfortunate, unexpected. I believed I was taking care of my diet, exercise and health. Apparently, there are theories about the vaccine as well&hellip; We have been hearing about people working out or playing and something happening, or a person who is taking care of himself and something happening,&rdquo; he said.&nbsp;
"I don't smoke. I'm not really a regular drinker, I drink perhaps once a month. No tobacco, yes, my cholesterol was a little high, which I was told is normal these days. I was taking medication for that, and it had come down reasonably. So, if all the factors--no diabetes, no blood pressure, nothing, then what could be the reason?&rdquo;

When asked if he thinks it might be related to the side effects of the vaccine, Shreyas said, &ldquo;I would not negate the theory. It was only after the Covid vaccine that I started to experience some fatigue and tiredness. There has to be some amount of truth and we cannot negate the theory. It can be Covid or the vaccine, I don&rsquo;t know which of the two, but it is associated (with my condition).&rdquo;
He added, &ldquo;It is very unfortunate and scary because we genuinely don&rsquo;t know what we have taken inside our bodies. We trusted the companies, and went with the flow. I never heard of such incidents before Covid.&rdquo;

In an interview with The Times of India, Shreyas revealed that he had been declared 'clinically dead.' He mentioned that he had no prior hospitalization experience, but his family has a history of heart issues.
The 47-year-old actor shared that due to his busy work schedule in recent months, he had been experiencing extreme fatigue. To address this concern, he took proactive measures and underwent several medical tests.
Shreyas recollected the day he suffered a cardiac arrest and recounted that it happened while he was on the set of the upcoming ensemble comedy film, &lsquo;Welcome to the Jungle.&rsquo; He was engaged in military exercises when the heart attack occurred.
&lsquo;Suddenly, I felt breathless and my left hand started paining. I could barely walk to my vanity van and change my clothes,&rsquo; he said.
Shreyas hurried back home, where his wife, Deepti, noticed his condition and promptly transported him to the hospital. He lost consciousness during the journey, and their car was caught in traffic. Deepti sought assistance, and Shreyas received immediate medical attention from the doctors. Shreyas emphasized that labeling this ordeal as merely a wake-up call would be an understatement. He urged people not to underestimate the importance of their health and stressed the significance of regular medical check-ups. He disclosed that despite not smoking, rarely drinking, and maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle, he was saved from such an incident.
&lsquo;I&rsquo;ve heard that post COVID, there have been many cases of healthy young people encountering heart issues,&rsquo; he said, thanking his friends, family, and &lsquo;superhuman&rsquo; wife, Deepti.

Actor Shreyas Talpade has issued an apology for an old video from his 2012 film &lsquo;Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal&rsquo;. &nbsp;A Twitter account shared the clip and claimed Shreyas' character &lsquo;disrespected Om&rsquo;, the divine symbol in Hinduism.
The actor posted an apology note Monday evening and wrote, &lsquo;There are too many factors while one is shooting... which includes one's mindset during a sequence, especially action scenes, the director's requirements, the time constraints &amp; a lot of other things.&rsquo;
He added, &lsquo;But this is not me explaining or justifying myself for what you see in the video, all I can say is this was completely unintentional &amp; am very apologetic for the same. I should've seen that &amp; brought to the director's notice. Nevertheless, I would never intentionally hurt anyone's sentiments or repeat something like this.&rsquo;

The inspirational journey of the Indian cricketer Pravin Tambe who made his IPL debut at the age of 41 is set to be presented on screen by Shreyas Talpade in the upcoming movie 'Kaun Pravin Tambe'. His biopic which has been directed by Jayprasad Desai will premier on Disney plus Hotstar on April 1st, 2022. Apart from Shreyas Talpade, the cast includes Ashish Vidyarthi, Parambrata Chatterjee and Anjali Patil. The official trailer of the movie was released by Disney plus Hotstar on Thursday. The movie gives an insight into the leg-spinner's tough journey who defied the age barrier and played for Rajasthan Royals in 2013 at the age of 41. Until his selection in the lucrative league, the cricketer had only featured in club cricket.
