The second advisory was issued by the institute on Saturday afternoon after reports surfaced that a group of students were planning to screen the controversial documentary.

Students of the government-run ITI have built a six-feet-high statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose using automobile scraps .

Six-foot-tall statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, which was recently constructed out of discarded iron rods, nuts, and bolts. Berhampur ITI students made the statue. The statue was unveiled on Monday, the 126th anniversary of the nationalist leader's birth, as a tribute to him.
According to principal Rajat Kumar Panigrahi of the government-run ITI. &ldquo;Our institute has utilized waste and discarded materials to make different statues which dot the campus".&nbsp;
The same technique was used to create a statue of Mahatma Gandhi last year. It was awarded the First prize in the National Competition on Welded Marvels in 2022's "Trash to Treasure" category. which the Indian Institute of Welding organized (IIW).

Kerala teacher arrested for allegedly molesting 26 students

The senior teacher was arrested under various provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on January 12 based on complaints from the district Childline authorities, police said.

Kerala police has arrested a 52-year-old teacher of an aided school in the district for allegedly molesting 26 students since November 2021.
The senior teacher was arrested under various provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on January 12 based on complaints from the district Childline authorities, police said.
"A student recently narrated the abuse she faced to another teacher of the school. She immediately informed the Childline authorities who later informed us. We got the complaint on January 11," police told PTI.
The official said upon further counselling, more students raised complaints against the senior man.

The deceased were identified as Ankush Anand (18), a NEET aspirant, and resident of Bihar's Supaul district and Ujjwal Kumar (17), a JEE aspirant from Gaya district.

Both Bihar natives were found hanging from ceiling fans in their respective rooms early Monday morning in the same Paying Guest accommodation in Talwandi area under Jawahar Nagar police station, police said.
While Pranav Verma (17), a NEET aspirant from the MP's Shivpuri district, has allegedly consumed some poisonous substance in his hostel room under Kunhari police station area on late Sunday night, they said.
Anand and Kumar had been preparing for their entrance exams in the same coaching institute of the city for around two years, DSP and CO Jawahar Nagar area Amar Singh said.
When they did not open door of their rooms till around 11 am on Monday morning, other students inquired and informed the caretaker of the PG, who reported the matter to the police, the CO said.
The police rushed to the PG and broke open the doors of the two rooms, and found the boys hanging from the ceiling fans, the officer said.
The duo were likely to have committed suicide either early in the morning or intervening night of Sunday and Monday, however, exact time could be ascertained only after the postmortem, he said.
Initial inquiry revealed that both were irregular in attending their coaching classes for quite a long time and were out of track of the studies and that was likely to have driven them to study stress and to take the extreme step, the senior officer said.
However, no suicide notes were recovered from their rooms, he added.
Ujjwal Kumar's sister has also been taking coaching in Kota and living in girl's hostel in the same area, police said.
While Madhya Pradesh's Pranav Verma was found lying unconscious in the gallery of his hostel on late Sunday night at around 12 am, Circle Inspector at Kunhari police station Ganga Sahay Sharma said.
The teenager was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead, he added.

A bomb blast hit a religious school in northern Afghanistan on Wednesday, killing at least 10 students, a Taliban official said.
The explosion went off at around the time of afternoon prayers at the Al Jihad Madrassa in Aybak, capital of Samangan province, a resident of the city who heard the explosion told The Associated Press. Most of the students at the school are young boys, said the resident, speaking on condition of anonymity for his own safety.
Video distributed by the Taliban to the media showed the blast site, a hall littered with debris, mats and shoes, with dead bodies and bloodstains on the floor. Sirens can be heard in the background and men, some of them armed, move through the hall surveying the explosion's aftermath.
Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi Takor said a number of students were wounded in the attack. Samangan province has a majority population of ethnic Uzbeks.

While the cost varies greatly depending on country and course, research by the International Institute of Education found that the average cost of studying abroad is nearly ₹28 lakh per year, which is an enormous sum of money for most in India. This leads to a high demand for education loans, which soared to new highs despite the pandemic. The students had been protesting since Sunday night over the allegations that private videos of female students in university hostels were leaked online. So far, the accused woman, a 23-year-old man from Himachal Pradesh and his friend have been held by cops in the case.&nbsp;
Meanwhile the varsity has shut classes for the next 6 days and transfer of all hostel wardens has been initiated.
Punjab's Additional Director General of Police, Gurpreet Deo, who reached the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/india-news/local/huge-protest-break-out-in-a-punjab-university-after-girls-hostel-videos-leaked-online-1663480814658">Chandigarh University</a> campus to take stock of the situation after the Saturday night protests, told reporters that the woman student appeared to have shared a video of herself with the youth and no objectionable video of any other student was found. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;
University authorities also rejected as "false and baseless" reports that claimed videos of several women students in the varsity hostel were made and leaked on social media and that distraught students had attempted suicide.
During the Sunday evening protest by a large number of students, including male, many accused the university authorities of &nbsp;"suppressing facts" related to the alleged videos and '"suicide attempt'' by a student. Some students claimed that <a href="https://www.editorji.com/crime-news/chandigarh-university-video-leak-claim-man-held-in-himachal-s-shimla-students-protest-for-justice-1663519252827">leaked videos</a> were leaked.
Most of the protesters were dressed in black clothes and chanted "we want justice" in the presence of police. They raised slogans against police as well.

The ABVP president along with a visually impaired student was injured on Monday allegedly after security guards at the Jawaharlal Nehru University roughed them up for protesting on campus, the student organisation claimed.
The students had staged a protest seeking the release of fellowship which they claimed to have not received in over a year.
Around a dozen students have been hurt in the assault, the right-wing group said.
JNU administration did not respond to calls or texts, reported PTI.
"Today students 'gheraoed' the administration office regarding the issue of fellowship and scholarship. Students said that the university administration has been ignoring their demands for the release of fellowships and scholarships for a long time," JNU's Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad president Rohit Kumar said.
"The JNU administration carried out a violent attack on the students to suppress the scholarship scam. The students were badly beaten up by the administration by ordering the security staff," he added.
As many as 12 students, including four female students, suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment, said ABVP activist Ambuj.
"A dozen suffered injuries after Cyclops attacked them on the order of administration," he said.
Cyclops is the firm tasked with managing security on the JNU campus.
Meanwhile, A senior police officer said neither a PCR call was received regarding the incident nor a complaint has been received at the Vasant Kunj (North) police station.
"Appropriate action will be taken based on the complaint we receive," the officer said. PTI

The ABVP president along with a visually impaired student was injured on Monday allegedly after security guards at the Jawaharlal Nehru University roughed them up for protesting on campus, the student organisation claimed.
The students had staged a protest seeking the release of fellowship which they claimed to have not received in over a year.
Around a dozen students have been hurt in the assault, the right-wing group said.

"Today students 'gheraoed' the administration office regarding the issue of fellowship and scholarship. Students said that the university administration has been ignoring their demands for the release of fellowships and scholarships for a long time," JNU's Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad president Rohit Kumar said.

"The JNU administration carried out a violent attack on the students to suppress the scholarship scam. The students were badly beaten up by the administration by ordering the security staff," he added.
As many as 12 students, including four female students, suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment, said <a href="https://www.editorji.com/india-news/bjp-worker-s-murder-abvp-activists-storm-karnataka-home-minister-s-bungalow-baton-charged-1659199437011">ABVP</a> activist Ambuj.
"A dozen suffered injuries after Cyclops attacked them on the order of administration," he said.
Cyclops is the firm tasked with managing security on the JNU campus.&nbsp;

Meanwhile, A senior police officer said neither a PCR call was received regarding the incident nor a complaint has been received at the Vasant Kunj (North) police station.
"Appropriate action will be taken based on the complaint we receive," the officer said.
