In a conversation with YouTuber Varun Mayya, Pichai spoke in depth about various topics including the impact of Artificial Intelligence on India to his favourite dishes in the country.&nbsp;
In his conversation, he revealed that when he is in Bangalore he loves munching on dosas. &ldquo;When I&rsquo;m in Bangalore,&rdquo; Pichai confided to Mayya, &ldquo;I will probably get a dosa. It&rsquo;s my favourite food.&rdquo;&nbsp;
Dosa is a crispy salty fermented crepe with a potato filling. It is a part of the South Indian cuisine and is enjoyed across India.&nbsp;
He then revealed that he loves Delhi's chole bhature. Chole bhature is a North Indian favourite and consists of fluffy, golden-fried bread (bhature) served alongside a rich and flavorful chickpea curry (chole). Delhi is known for its many road side chole bhature stalls. Even Indian cricketer Virat Kohli loves this Indian dish!
He then spoke about how much he loves Mumbai&rsquo;s iconic street food, pav bhaji. Pav Bhaji is a popular Indian street food dish that originated in Mumbai. It is served with a piece of soft bread and a plate of mashed vegetables with distinctive flavours of garlic, ginger, and other seasonings.

Sundar Pichai took over the reins of Google in 2015. Since then, the tech giant's stock has surged more than 400%, outperforming the S&amp;P 500 and Nasdaq over the same period.
On Friday, the stock hit a fresh record after the company's first-quarter earnings beat expectations. The boost in the quarter earnings comes with the AI-driven growth in its cloud computing unit. For the first time, Google also introduced a dividend.&nbsp;
Along with the rally, the hefty stock awards have made him one of the world's highest-paid executives.&nbsp;
Sundar Pichai who grew up in a two-room apartment in Chennai, once in an interview mentioned that his father withdrew $1,000 from the family's savings - more than his annual salary - to cover the cost of Pichai's plane ticket and other expenses when he won a scholarship to Stanford university.&nbsp;
Pichai's net worth includes $424 million in current shareholdings as well as roughly $600 million from share sales since he became CEO. Bloomberg's wealth index assumes those sales were taxed and reinvested in the stock market.

Pressed on the exact amount paid to Apple, Pichai admitted it was over $10 billion. The attorney pushed back, suggesting it was $18 billion.

Pichai defended Google's practices, highlighting the company's contribution to affordable smartphones by providing Android to manufacturers like Samsung in exchange for featuring Google's search engine and services.
Google faces two antitrust lawsuits from the US Justice Department and allegations from Epic Games, accusing the tech giant of maintaining a monopoly over app distribution through the Google Play Store.
In the courtroom, Pichai also admitted Android's shortcomings in the tablet market, citing a past attempt that lacked compelling apps compared to Apple. He noted the impact on market success and revealed Google's move to reassign employees from tablet projects to others in 2019. "We've decided to reduce our workforce by approximately 12,000 roles," Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai said in an email to employees, adding that the cuts were in response to a changing "economic reality".
The move comes a day after Microsoft said it would reduce staff numbers by 10,000 in the coming months, following similar layoffs by Facebook owner Meta, Amazon and Twitter as the previously unassailable tech sector faces a major economic downturn.

Indian-American Pichai was awarded the Padma Bhushan for 2022 in the Trade and Industry category. The Madurai-born Pichai was named one of the 17 awardees earlier this year.

Indian envoy to the US handed over the prestigious Padma Bhushan award to Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai in San Francisco on Friday.&nbsp;
As he received India&rsquo;s third-highest civilian award, Indian-American Pichai said &ldquo;India is a part of me and I carry it with me wherever I go".&nbsp;
Indian-American Pichai was awarded the Padma Bhushan for 2022 in the Trade and Industry category. The Madurai-born Pichai was named one of the 17 awardees earlier this year.
&ldquo;I am deeply grateful to the Indian government and the people of India for this immense honour. It is incredibly meaningful to be honoured in this way by the country that shaped me," 50-year-old Pichai said while accepting the award from India&rsquo;s Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu.
"India is a part of me. I carry it with me wherever I go. (Unlike this beautiful award which I will keep somewhere safe)," he said.
"I was fortunate to grow up in a family that cherished learning and knowledge, with parents who sacrificed a lot to make sure I had opportunities to explore my interests," Pichai said.

Darshan clarified that it was only after his repeated requests went unanswered that he had to seek legal help. "Their actions and replies indicate they are well-versed in deflecting queries from my end," he said.
The search engine giant said in its reaction that it has a set mechanism which copyright owners can use to protect their content on platforms such as YouTube.

The pricing and availability of the JioPhone Next is not yet known. However, a previous leak speculated that the phone may cost ₹3,499.
The JioPhone Next was announced in June and slated to release by September 10. However, the ongoing global chip shortage had caused Reliance Jio to delay the phone&rsquo;s release. Jio said earlier that the smartphone was in the advanced trials stage, and being tested by a limited set of users.
