Post her recovery from a heart attack, Sushmita also walked the ramp at a fashion week earlier this month. On Saturday, she hosted a live session on Instagram in which the actor said that she survived a &lsquo;big heart attack&rsquo; because she has always followed a healthy and active lifestyle.
She said a lot of people have been questioning the long-time results of exercising post her heart attack, but the gymming helped her a lot in dealing with the &lsquo;massive 95 percent blockage in artery&rsquo;.
&lsquo;I know a lot of you will stop going to the gym and say no, 'see going to the gym didn't help her'. Not good. But it did help me. I survived a very, very big heart attack. It was massive with 95 percent blockage in the main artery. It did because I have kept an active lifestyle,&rsquo; Sushmita said.
&lsquo;Things happen to our body for many reasons and we are not doctors and we are not scientists and we don't know everything. But we do know what is in our hands. we must follow through on that. We must understand our bodies. I was never an athlete, so I've not monitored my heart my whole life, except that it's in the right place,&rsquo; she added.
Sushmita said it was a phase in her life and now that it is over, she feels lucky to be &lsquo;on the other side of it&rsquo;. The actor, who was diagnosed with the autoimmune condition called Addison's disease in 2014, said in current times when a lot of young people are losing their lives to heart attacks, it is important to keep a check on one's health. She concluded by saying that the past two days have made her realise that she is a very &lsquo;lucky and loved&rsquo; girl.

The ‘Aarya 2’ actor also announced one more web series on her social media handle with her first look recently. ‘Sun Set..Sen Rise!!! Life has been crazy busy…getting ready to shoot a brand new Web Series…one that has my heart!! I miss you guys & love you beyond!!! #duggadugga,’ she captioned her post.  
Sushmita had made her crime-thriller web series debut with ‘Aarya’ and she was also seen in the season 2 of the series. According to an exclusive report from Pinkvilla, the third season of the much-loved series will also release soon.

Charu Asopa's marriage with Sushmita Sen's brother Rajeev Sen has been on the rocks for a long time. Reports of their on-and-off relationship have been making headlines frequently. Now, Charu has decided to 'dissolve' her three-year long marriage with Rajeev. In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the actor talked about taking this decision due to several accumulated unresolved problems. She also revealed that her equation with Rajeev may not be a 'healthier' one but she shares a deep bond with sister-in-law Sushmita Sen. 
Talking about her bond with the former Miss Universe, Charu mentioned that she finds 'comfort' in sharing her problems with Sushmita. 
'My sister-in-law is a wonderful person. I keep talking to her quite often and even share my problems. Other than her, I am not comfortable in sharing my problems with anyone else,' she said. 
She mentioned that her lawyer, brother and sister-in-law, are her biggest support.

She mentioned that the picture was an old one and she doesn't know what he's thinking. She blamed Rajeev for delaying the divorce process as he refuses to answer when her lawyer approaches him. 
'I don't know what he's thinking and I don't understand these double standards of people. We haven't spoken about anything because we have only been commuting legally. We have been sending notices to each other. In the house, we can't fight about this topic but everyone knows that this is going on. When my lawyer approaches Rajeev's lawyer, she refuses to answer and because of this, the whole process is getting delayed. I can't understand the reason behind the delay,' she said.

Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen opens up about being unfollowed by the actor on Instagram. In a conversation with E times, he clarified and says, ‘It is being said by the media that my sister unfollowed me on Instagram. However, the reality is that she never followed me on Instagram.’ ‘The media is also claiming that my sister is following my wife Charu and is thus, supporting her. All I can say is that my sister is smart enough to know where we stand and by now everyone has understood how simple my wife is, as she has mastered the art of playing the victim card.’ He added.
