BBL team Sydney Thunders have terminated Fazalhaq Farooqi's contract with immediate effect following an investigation by Cricket Australia&rsquo;s Integrity Unit. A disciplinary complaint was made against Farooqi and after an investigation, the CA Conduct Commissioner decided that the player&rsquo;s contract be terminated'. While the details of the incident were kept confidential, CA and the BBL team said they received a complaint about Farooqi&rsquo;s behaviour last Thursday. They also said the affected individuals are being offered support.

The batting lineup which consisted of world-class batters like England's Alex Hales and Rilee Rossouw only managed to conjure up a 15-run total in the end after 5 of the batters got out on a duck.
Henry Thornton and Wes Agar ran riot on the night as they picked up 5 and 4 wickets respectively, with the Thunder innings all over inside the powerplay itself.
