The person on screen appears to be taking out some photocopies. Tabu commands her aide to zoom into the footage, which reveals the film&rsquo;s release date: October 5.
Based on Amar Bhushan's espionage novel &lsquo;Escape to Nowhere&rsquo;, the film also stars Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ashish Vidyarthi.
Speaking about the film in an interview with News18, Vishal Bhardwaj said, &lsquo;I have changed the gender of the character for Tabu. I always find a reason to work with Tabu. Khufiya is a really special project for me. The entire team has worked very hard to create a suspenseful, slow-burning thriller, and with Netflix, we are thrilled to present the film to audiences globally.&rsquo;

She said, &lsquo;I was more into dancing earlier and was doing BTech. Someone told me I should do modelling because I have the height and face. So I did it more as a hobby. But it was only when I did TV commercials that I faced a moving camera and I really enjoyed it. I felt I could emote, that it was tapping into a creative side of mine. I was not conscious in front of the camera at all.&rsquo;
Recalling how she entered the entertainment industry, she said, &lsquo;I remember Shoojit Sircar had shot an ad with me! He told me, &lsquo;You have that acting bug in you, you must explore it, do some workshop&rsquo;. That&rsquo;s when I started dreaming about being an actor. Then I moved to Mumbai, started giving auditions. I also enrolled in a private workshop for a bit, but I was just improving with every audition, there was no other way. Now when I look back at, it feels surreal that I have come this far.&rsquo;

'The Crew' is said to be based in the aviation industry. The story follows three women who work and hustle to move on with life but they face some unexpected and unwarranted situations, leading them to get caught in a web of lies.
The film is directed by Rajesh Krishnan. It is set to go on floors at the end of March this year.

Sharing the teaser on social media, Ajay Devgn wrote, 'Jab ek chattaan, sau shaitaanon se takrayega... #BholaaTeaser2 Out Now.'
The teaser opens with the monologue of Ajay Devgn's character Bholaa and then cuts to gravity-defying stunts and high-octane fight sequences. Tabu, who is playing the cops, says 'there is also a human being behind this uniform.'&nbsp;
The background music of the teaser 'Aaj phir jeene ki tamanna hai' is sure to give you goosebumps.

Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj&rsquo;s son Aasman Bharadwaj, the action thriller opened to mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audience. A section of netizens are appreciating Tabu's performance while a few are saying that it&rsquo;s a 'waste' of time.

&lsquo;Drishyam 2&rsquo;, starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran, received the second biggest opening for Bollywood this year. The film earned ₹65 crore across India in its first three days, surpassing the opening weekend collections of all Hindi films except &lsquo;Brahmastra&rsquo;. Director Abhishek Pathak opened up about the journey and the film&rsquo;s cultural impact on the Hindi-speaking audience.
According to Hindustan Times, Abhishek said that the sequel of &lsquo;Drishyam&rsquo; was planned even before Malayalam &lsquo;Drishyam 2&rsquo; was released. He said that before the film came out on OTT, they had bought the rights to it.
&lsquo;We saw the film and loved it. By November 2020, we got the rights and then we started developing it,&rsquo; he said. He further said that there is no point in making a frame-to-frame remake because as a director one has to bring their vision to the table. He said if it&rsquo;s a copy, people will talk about that aspect and reduce your audience.
For the unversed, &lsquo;Drishyam&rsquo; is the remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. However, the filmmaker agrees that changes need to be planned carefully so as to avoid ruining the essence of the original.
&lsquo;When you start rewriting something, you always mark out things you don&rsquo;t want to touch. The idea is to not damage it. See, we got the rights to something we loved and there&rsquo;s no point changing that. We have to stick to the soul of the film, including the twist and turns. But the screenplay can change. Malayalam films are a little different as compared to Hindi films. The audiences are different as well. So we need that change. So yes, changing the screenplay of a remake is important but you have to be careful,&rsquo; he said.
Abhishek also talked about how many believe that the popularity of the Ajay Devgn-starrer Hindi version has surpassed the Malayalam original, which starred Mohanlal.
The director said that every year on October 2, there are memes about Vijay Salgaonkar and his family. It&rsquo;s fun. He added that Mohanlal sir is a great actor, a very established actor but the Hindi audiences relate &lsquo;Drishyam&rsquo; somewhere more with Vijay Salgaonkar and Ajay Devgn.
&lsquo;And even though the Malayalam sequel was out, many people didn&rsquo;t watch it as they wanted to see the Hindi version first. That is because they relate so much with Ajay sir. The Malayalam Drishyam is a brilliant film but they somewhere chose to hold on till the Hindi version was released,&rsquo; Hindustan Times quoted Abhishek as saying.

'Drishyam 2': Kangana Ranaut praises Tabu, says 'actor single-handedly saving the Hindi film industry'

Actor Kangana Ranaut appreciated Tabu for her performance in the film, 'Drishyam 2' and wrote, 'I think women deserve much more credit for their unwavering dedication to their work'.

Actor Kangana Ranaut, who is currently busy shooting for her upcoming film 'Emergency', recently praised Tabu for her performance in her latest release &nbsp;'Drishyam 2'. The 'Queen' actor took her Instagram stories and wrote that Tabu is &lsquo;single-handedly&rsquo; saving Bollywood with her talent and consistency and she is 'slaying in her 50s'
'Only two Hindi films have worked this year &ndash; Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Drishyam 2&hellip; and both films have superstar Tabu ji in central roles, slaying in her 50s&hellip; single-handedly saving the Hindi film industry. Her talent and consistency have never been questioned but to look her best and reach the peak of her stardom in her fifties is commendable. Tabu's 'Drishyam 2', co-starring Ajay Devgn, was released on November 18, and it received the second biggest opening for a Bollywood film in 2022. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film earned ₹15.38 crore at the domestic box office on its day 1 and did a business of ₹21.59 crore on its second day.&nbsp;
Tabu&rsquo;s other release 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2', co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, also saw an impressive opening day collection of ₹14 crores. The film earned more than ₹266 crores worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2022.
On the work front, besides 'Emergency', Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film 'Tejas'. She has also confirmed that she will portray theatre artist 'Noti Binodini,' in her upcoming movie.
