Swedish environmental campaigner Greta Thunberg on Saturday asked US voters to vote for Joe Biden, saying the outcome of the US presidential election was crucial for fighting climate change. Thunberg has had many a run-ins with the US president Donald Trump, who has on numerous occasions played down climate change. Biden on the other hand has reached out to Thunberg and hailed her commitment to the fight against climate change. Last month, the respected magazine Scientific American also urged readers to vote for Biden on November 3, the first time in almost 200 years that it has taken a political stance.

In an effort to reveal the truth behind numbers, three young climate activists including Greta Thunberg, have come up with their own report. The group says that the 'EU is cheating with numbers and stealing our future.'
The 17-year-old shared extensive research on the topic and said 'the proposed 55%, 60% or even 65% carbon dioxide emission reduction targets for the EU by 2030 are nowhere near enough to be in line with the targets of the Paris Agreement.&nbsp;
Explaining why the European Union must lead the wave of change, Thunberg&nbsp;said the EU did not start reducing emissions 30 years ago when the debate began, they simply moved them abroad and left them out of the reports.&nbsp;
