Even though in India there are no dress codes for flyers, according to travel experts you should not wear certain things when travelling on a flight. Let&rsquo;s know what they are:
<h3>Sandals or chappals</h3>
According to experts, to save your feet from infection and dirt you must wear shoes when travelling as the carpets and plane floors are hardly cleaned and the toilets are filthy too.
<h3>Skin showing clothes</h3>
Airlines do have rules to not allow passengers showing too much skin or wearing offensive clothes. Even though you are traveling to a beach destination, it is better to be decently covered to prevent any ruckus.
<h3>Single layers</h3>
You never know what the temperature is going to be inside an airport or a plane. So, it&rsquo;s always better to be prepared. Have a light jacket handy so that you can wear it when you feel cold.
<h3>Heavy metallic accessories</h3>
If you wear heavy jewellery or a belt you will more likely be asked to take it off during security check-in. So, avoid wearing them to save the hassle.

Travel to short-haul destination like Dubai, Maldives, Sri Lanka have grown. Many chose to flock to Dubai, which continues to be top destination despite a hike in airfares of over 120% compared to 2019. 
As demand for Eypt and Sri Lanka is also rising among holiday seekers, Maldives continues to witness strong demand from India, which is 75% higher compared to pre-pandemic levels. 
Expensive Escape?
Foreign flights are still few and far between, dependent on bilateral bubble arrangements between governments, which has led to the hike in airfares.
Travel from India to the US, the two-way fare is Rs 1 lakh- 1.5 lakh. Earlier the return cost use to 70,000. 
According to reports, Globally, flights to Switzerland, France and Germany have grown four times in October from a year ago

The UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority on Sunday said flights from India, Pakistan, Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic Of Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and South Africa will remain suspended due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic
Under the new changes, entry of UAE citizens from India and South Africa will be allowed only if the individual is fully vaccinated with a UAE-approved shot.
A national ban on entry from India began in April&nbsp;when the country was reeling under a severe second wave of coronavirus pandemic.
